Anna Kendrick is the daughter of Meliana, and David Kendrick making her a member of House Kendrick. Anna has three siblings in the form of Tyson, Melinda, and Cassie Kendrick of which Tyson is the heir to House Kendrick and is in a leading role for the military of the house while also being very well respected, while her sister Melinda is a member of the Order of the Green Dragon where she has also become quite influencial inside the growing Dragon Order, while Cassie is younger and as of yet has had little political impact on the Kingdom of Lucerne. Anna Kendrick was engaged to Josh Hirsh but their engagement was ended after a more suitable marriage was planned between Taylor Swift, and Josh Hirsh, and following this the two have continued to see eachother despite the consequences.

Anna Kendrick was born the first child of David Kendrick and due to this was born into the wealthy House Kendrick, and throughout her youth Anna was led to believe in the devinity of her house. WIth this belief system she would become quite arrogant but also due to a natural intelligence and beauty she became extremely popular amongst the other nobles of her age group. As this popularity grew she became the rival of Taylor Swift who was a member of the powerful House Swift, and despite not at that time having a problem with her she would lead the bullying of Taylor Swift in order to gain more popularity. Anna Kendrick would go south for several months to be a lady in waiting for Falena Crane, and while at first very resentful of being with the Cranes she came to become very close with Orival Crane of whom she slept with several times before she would depart Crane Castle. Returning to Brill she would come to find that for the first time she wanted something outside of her family when she thought of Orival Crane and this made her depressed which for a time brought her and her one time rival Taylor Swift closer together, but this only last for a short time as her father demanded for her to embaress Taylor which she did when she menipulated her into sleeping with Stephan De'Marco. Now hated by Taylor she returned to her old ways and this led her back to her former popularity but also led her into the arms of Josh Hirsh of whom was the arrogant heir to the wealthy House Hirsh. Now in a relationship with Josh Hirsh she was quite unhappy with him as a future husband due to his sleeping around but she came to believe that Orival Crane had married due to the lies of her father and so accepted a betrothal to Josh Hirshe. Only weeks after her bethrothal Orival Crane came to Brill to see her with several of his bastard siblings and was heartbroken when he saw her kissing Josh Hirsh despite the fact that he thought they were in love, and Anna Kendrick would only learn of his arrival in Brill after Josh made cruel remarks about him. Desperate to find Orival she would follow him into the Invasion of Westbridge of which her betrothed had weaseled his way into not taking part in, and attempting to get to Westbridge by boat she was taken captive by pirates from the Yairs where she would be taken to. Discovering that they had several high ranking nobles instead of just merchants the mercenaries would prepare to kill them in order to hide their involvement but instead would be convinsed by Anna Kendrick to let them live, and in this way they became servents falling to the lowest levels of the power structure of the Yairns.

Anna Kendrick is one of the two major POV characters in the short Story The Dragon and the Wolf where the lives of the two rival nobles in Taylor Swift and Anna Kendrick are detailed.

Early History

Anna Kendrick was born the first child of David Kendrick and due to this was born into the wealthy House Kendrick, and throughout her youth Anna was led to believe in the devinity of her house.

As this popularity grew she became the rival of Taylor Swift who was a member of the powerful House Swift, and despite not at that time having a problem with her she would lead the bullying of Taylor Swift in order to gain more popularity. 

The Cranes

“I never wanted to leave Brill. This place is nothing like home, and I hate everything about it. I hate the fact that its just the Cranes here. I hate the fact that Lady Crane is a bore. I hate everything, and I want to go home.”

Anna Kendrick would be told by her father that she was to go south for several months to be a lady in waiting for Falena Crane, and when she realized it wasn't a joke she was very upset but none of her words could stop it from happening, and several days after this she was on a boat going south to Crane Castle. Arriving there she was greeted by Falena Crane of whom took her around the castle town, and while openly kind she was very resentful inside and upon reaching her room she would begin writing a letter home demanding to be returned. This letter would go back home, but her father simply sent back that he loved her and hoped this would be a good experiance in the end, but refused to send her home. Spending the first weeks of her time in Crane Castle attempting to find girls like herself amongst the nobles she found her spoiled, and sometimes arrogant behavior was not liked by the other girls of the Crane nobility and this was especially highlighted when she got into an argument with Jeyne Urlonn of whom alongside several other girls from Crane Castle would threaten Anna. Anna was spreading a rumor about one of the handmaidens of Crane Castle in the form of Melia Grant of whom had a scar on her neck which Anna made fun of causing Melia to run out after hearing about it. Hearing about this bullying Jeyne Urlonn would gather the noble girls and trick Anna into going riding with them where they would continue to take her west until she refused to go any further realizing they were against her. The girls would tell her how they all thought she was a terrible person so in love with herself that she couldn't see that everyone hated her, and then leaving the distraught Anna they would take the horse from her before leaving her on the road forced to walk back to Crane Castle which was hours away by foot.

“I kept walking hoping with everything in my heart that I would see that crooked tower of Crane Castle. I hoped for the first time since I had arrived here that the castle I hated so much would just appear. Where was I? I could feel my heart beat racing with every crack of the woods around me. The forest begin to him as the darkness overtook the sky, and then I heard it. My legs took me into the forest, and away from the sounds behind me. I kept running constantly looking back for the sounds to become the monsters I knew they were, but I could feel my lungs struggling and I slowed down. Catching my breathe I moved backwards slowly away from where the noise was and then my leg struck something and I fell backwards before the world went black.”

Overwhelmed with fear when it got dark outside she would panic and run into the forest where she would become lost, and eventually knock herself out on a tree limb. Waking up she found herself on a horse being carried by a well armored, and handsome young man of whom when she had recovered herself enough she would talk to and learn he was Orival Crane and he was returning from his time in Frosthelm. and while at first very resentful of being with the Cranes she came to become very close with Orival Crane of whom she slept with several times before she would depart Crane Castle.

Coming Home

“All my friends greeted my like a queen returning from some distant war. They chatted endlessly about how poor the Cranes must have been. How savage the people. Every word they said was rude, or cruel in someway and I couldn't help but immediately wonder if this is who I was seen as.”

Returning to Brill by carriage she was accompanied by her sister Melinda Kendrick of whom was shocked when Anna hugged and kissed Orival Crane goodbye, and when the door was shut behind her into the carriage she broke down crying and Melinda would have to console her. Returning to Brill she would quickly come to find that for the first time in her life she wanted something outside of her family and popularity when she thought of the life she desperately wanted with Orival Crane. Working her way back into the most powerful of the noble girls her continued thinking of Orival Crane made her remember how good of a person she felt like she was with him and this made her depressed seeing the kind of person she was without him. This depression would bring her into contact with Taylor Swift of whom she apologized to for all the things that she had done to her in their life and this apology succeeded in bringing them closer together.

This new repaired relationship would only be for a short time as her father would get into a very public disagreement with Taylors father. Following the end of the trial Anna's father would end the positive things between Taylor and Anna when he demanded for her to embarrass Taylor in revenge for what had happened to him, and this was something that she rejected at first with great strength.

Following seeing Taylor with Orival Crane Anna would be overcome with jealously and she would listen to her father when she tricked Stephan De'Marco into doing her bidding and then having him attempt to sleep with Taylor Swift.

Old Ways

Josh Hirsh

Only weeks after her bethrothal to Josh Cole, it was Orival Crane that came to Brill to see her with several of his bastard siblings and was heartbroken when he saw her kissing Josh Hirsh despite the fact that he thought they were in love, and Anna Kendrick would only learn of his arrival in Brill after Josh made cruel remarks about him.

The Yairns

Desperate to find Orival she would follow him into the Invasion of Westbridge of which her betrothed had weaseled his way into not taking part in, and attempting to get to Westbridge she travels by boat trying to reach Westbridge to meet Oliver Crane, and during this is joined by her friends Amyra Spirre, and Katlyn Granes, of which as they got onto the ship they are joined at the last minute by Jeyne Urlonn, and her husband Mikal Shiphard of whom refuse to be left out and join with the group. The chapter ends with the ship being attacked on the river by a pirate ship and boarded they surrender as they don't have the means of defence for themselves and seeing they are nobles the pirates led by a man who calls himself Sigsten Henjum of the Yairnish mercenary group called the Royal Toad Brotherhood.

Hostage

Following their capture she and the rest of her group arrive at the Yairns city of Pearlwharf where they are met on the docks by Dalmar Ulvestad, Henna Finne, and Svenke Enstad of whom are introduced as the three Generals of the Yairns mercenary group known as the Royal Toad Brotherhood.
