Archangelos is a large Greek town located in southern Greece, where it is a current member of the Athens League. Archangelos holds the title of city in the Athens League where it is held by House Certo a noble family from the city of Athens. Archangelos is dominated by the Greeks of whom are the homogeonous ethnic population in the town with no other significant groups present within the town.

Archangelos first came to be as a small Greek fishing village founded around the year -1750 and at this early time with only several fishing families making up its population they named it Chelsis. Archangelos would rise to prominence under the leadership of Koinos Psomas of whom gained the alliegance of the village, and expanded it throughout his life beggining its state as a town of sorts. Under the reign of Koinos I. son Koinos Psomas III. the town would expand further rising in population and prominence and became a city state within the Mycenean Empire during the reign of Koinos Psomas III.
