Blackrock Mountain

Blackrock Mountain or Whiterock Mountain is a very large Mountain Peak located within the Valley of Blackrock, that was changed from the previous Whiterock Mountain following a disasterous spell by Gul'dan, and Ner'zhul alongside their Shadow Council which burned the entire northern valley and scorched the actual Whiterock peak. Blackrock Mountain now stands as the capital of the Blackrock Empire, and holds an immesurable amount of Orcs, and as you travel deeper you find the Goblins that have begun to settle within the Blackrock Empire and now serve beneath the Orcs.

Blackrock Mountain was originally known as Whiterock Mountain and was founded by Dwarves sent westward from their main hold of Karak Izor following the War of Vengeance. These Dwarves came to call themselves the Whiterock Dwarves and would branch away from the Kingdom of Izor, and founded their own called the Whiterock Kingdom. The Whiterock Kingdom worked very much beside the Dwarves of Karak Izor, and Karak Matron but always remained independant and in control of the Valley of Whiterock, and it was in this position that they would remain when the Elves begin colonizing in France including most notably establishing holdings in the Whitemarsh Forest of the southern tip of the Valley of Whiterock. During the War of Vengeance the Kingdom of Whiterock would not assist the dwarven war effort instead actively working alongside their elven allies in the Whitemarsh Forest the two defended the valley and kept the valley safe of any of the violence that spread to all the other corners of France duirng the War of Vengeance. thus when the Orcs invaded France the Iron Dwarves assisted as best they could, and as the Orcs rampaged all the way to the Valley of Whiterock, the Iron Dwarves defended the valley to the last man. This herioism allowed them to hold Whiterock, and repulse dozens of attacks killing the Orcs in their tens of thousands in each defeat, but disaster would strike when Gul'dan summoned a spell of unimageable scope that tore the land asunder, and burned the Dwarves from their fortress allowing the Orcs to make it past their defences and overrun the fortress.
