Bronheim is a very large city located in the Kingdom of Lucerne where it is controlled by House Bardwyn as the capital of the Grand State of Bronheim. Bronheim is famous for its very large Waterfall of Bronheim which is created by the nexus of the Lower Greenhave River and the Bronheim River meeting, and this has led to the creation of one of the largest waterfalls in the Valley of Lucerne.

The city of Bronheim is an ethnically separated city with the dominant political ethnic group being the Brann but they have been slowly diminished in the city by the continues immigration of both Vandals from the north and Italians to the south, and all of this has led to the rise of a divided city with each group having specific areas they can live with only the downtown core a mixed area.

Bronheim has historically been dominated by several different religions with the first being the Christianity of the Italians, but following the coming of the Brann they brought with them a Germanic paganism, but this was then supplemented by the worship of Glaurung brought by the rising of Ysgramor to the north. In modern times the city is dominated by the Bronheim Temple of Aerene but there is a large population of both Christians and a rising population of R'hllor that also make residence in the city.

Bronheim would be founded originally founded by the Romans and at the time of its founding it was named Bronhia and was held by the Roman Empire for generations and even survived the Night of Spiders when the Unsoligiath Empire ravaged the Valley of Lucerne. The city would become the target of the Brann Warband led by Bardwyn the Butcher and under the leadership of the Roman Emperor Flavius Trajan V. in order to stop the Brann from attacking into Italy the city of Bronheim was given to Bardwyn alongside a massive amount of gold.
