Brooke Scott is the daughter of Dan, and Karen Scott making her a member of House Scott through her father, and a member of House Tyrell through her mother. Brooke is the sister of Lucas, and Nathan Scott, while being the step-sister of Haley Scott, of which her brother Lucas is a brilliant warrior who became the hero of the people of Tree Hill but is now dealing with the personal problems that have arisen due to his sexual involvement with several women, while her brother Nathan is the heir to House Scott and lies in the position of secondary power to only his father in House Scott, and her step-sister Haley is inolved in the drama that threatens to destroy House Scott from within. Brooke Scott has been secretly engaged in a long term affair with the King of Lucerne for the better part of her life now, and in this love affair she has two children in the form of Riley, and Sigmund Scott of which Riley is nearly six years old by the time of the Rise of Lucerne, while Sigmund is younger at only four years old.

A very outgoing girl she found her rich excistence destroyed when orcs destroyed Tree Hill. She honed her skills at medicine until she is now one of the most capable healers in all of Tree Hill. This skill has done little to heal the wounds she still sees in her family, who she believes are closing in on a very dangerous moment in their history due to the hatred between Dan and Lucas, and a growing hate between Lucas and Nathan. Much like Bella Swan her life went in a tailspin when she bacame pregnant by Andrew Lovie. Unlike Bella Swan she has been forced to keep this a secret, and instead her child is believed to be the child of a soilder in Gondor who she still sees every once and awhile. This secret was confronted when Bella Swan learned of the love affair and travelled to Tree Hill with Andrew in order to confront Brooke which she did near the end of the Rise of Lucerne.

Brooke Scott was a POV character during the Journey, and had an entire chapter of which she described the coming of William Lovie III. into Tree Hill. This would be the only major part of the Journey that we do not see the actual thoughts, and processes of William Lovie thus making her role a rather shocker change.

History

Young Brooke Scott

Early Life

``I believe in the compelling power of love. I do not understand it. I believe it to be the most fragrant blossom of all this thorny existence. This was not always the case though. In my youth I was pulled in by the freedom that an unattached life provided. I was jaded by my parents lack of affection and never understood that there was another way.``
-Brooke Scott

Brooke Scott was born the youngest child of Karen, and Dan Scott. During her youth she was very popular with everyone she met, and this allowed her to get away with a lot of things with her father who was very happy with her apparent growth into a perfect political marriage wife. In this copasity she grew close to her mother whome she spent a lot of time with learning to practise of being a political wife, and a generally acceptable wife for the Houses eventual requirement. Her relationship with her mother was one of mutual love, and respect but at an early age Brooke became painfully aware that her mother Karen was dealing with her own deamons, and for this reason she never really pushed her mother to be anything more then what she could be. Her mother for all of her skills didn't even notice that Brooke pulled away from her, and this was a truly sad moment for Brooke as she lost the only parental relationship besides her Grandfather at an early age. Even though she was close with her mother this closeness never moved towards her relationship with her father if what the two shared could be described as a relationship with her father Dan Scott.

Popularity

``Its funny how simple popularity was for me. I could say the most irrelevent, idiotic thing and they would eat it up. It took me a long time to realize that they didn`t actually like me. They didn`t actually care about what I had to say. They cared about an image that it built for them the moment they were seen with me. The daughter of the Lord of Tree Hill was the exact person everyone wanted to be around. I look back now and can only feel sadness for the vanity of my life back then.``
-Brooke Scott

Along with this during her youth even as she gained immense popularity due to her intelligance and general beauty she never became especially close to her two brothers. Of her two brothers she was somewhat close to Lucas and it was through this relationship that she came to known Haley James who would come to be one of

Brooke Scott(5

her best friends. But despite this Nathan and Brooke had no type of relationship during their youth, and this was something that was just accepted by everyone in the family. What little existed between the two was near conflict as Brooke despised the way in which Nathan treated Lucas, and also she was silently jelous of the attention that her father showered on Nathan.

"I hated myself for feeling it but I envied my brother Lucas. He seemingly had everything, and yet he was able to maintain it without even the slightest effort. He never went to the endless parties that I went to. He didn't socialize with the popular people the way that I did. He didn't do any of the things that my mother had told me were the only ways to achieve real power in this world."
-Brooke Scott

Brooke attempted constantly to maker herself into something that was important enought, and noticeable enought that her father would care about her. She would go to every party that the nobles were going to, and during these parties she would play the role of the perfect Lord's daughter with such skill that if she didn't feel so empty while she did it, she might have thought it was a real effort. She used her beauty and station in life to make a lot of friends in the noble school in Tree Hill, and she became even more popular then her brother was during their youth.

"She entered the room and she was a ragged little thing. My mother told me she was only nine so she was three years younger then me, but in so many ways the look her eyes made me believe she was far older then me."
-Lucas Scott

When Brooke was eleven her mother brought home an orphan girl named Peyton Sawyer of whom she had discovered while travelling to the market. At first Karen had walked by the young girl on the street, and thought little of it. Then she came to handing the girl food from the market, and then she came to sit with the girl on the route back from the market. Eventually she attempted to get Dan Scott to intervene but she found her husband nearly uncaring towards the affairs of this poor girl and so she took matters into her own hands when she brought her home. Peyton at first stayed hidden on the outside of the estate by Karen, but at a certain point Lucas came across her hiding in one of the houses, and came to talk with her. At first she was extremely afraid to talk to Lucas as she was told by Karen that she needed to be very careful lest she be thought a criminal and someone killed her on sight. After a time though she

and Lucas came to get comfortable together, and he was able to convinse her that he meant her no harm. Now that he knew the secret he came to discuss it with his mother and they decided to keep it a secret until Karen had completed her room, and everything was prepared. As this continued Lucas came to meet with Peyton many times and they grew very and as the days moved forward she came to live inside the actual House Scott home as a handmaiden to Karen Scott. Peyton was very similar to Lucas in that they were both very shy and didn't like the center of attention. In their shared personality they became closer when Peyton grew close to Brooke Scott on a friendship level, and started to feel more comfortable in the house.

Peyton Sawyer11
"Brooke Scott was the best friend a person could ask for in the entire world. She never asked of you anything more then she knew you were willing to give, and she gave herself completely to whoever she was with in a way that made you just immediatly want to be better."
-Peyton Sawyer

This close relationship with his sister Brooke, and his best friend Haley led the two to become together more often, and during these times it became clear that they were both very interested in the other. Peyton eventually made the first move and following this they became very sexually invovled with eachother to the point that even his time with Haley was interupted due to his growing

Peyton Sawyer Gif5

obsession with Peyton Sawyer. Lucas was completely in love with Peyton and he often talked openely with her how he wished to marry her, and for her to have his children. This affection was returned by Peyton but she worried what his parents would say, and also she feared she wasn't good enough to marry Lucas. Because of this in the days leading up to the Fall of Tree Hill Peyton had rejected Lucas's proposal to marry him, and this had created the first problem between the two. After the rejection of the proposal Peyton became distant from Lucas, and this made her closer to Brooke Scott, and Brooke would definetly need her for the coming days as she was to married off to Julian Baker of House Baker

"I heard from my mother that Julian was a good man that every noble mother hoped their daughter would get to marry. So it was with that information that I was actually excited to finally fufill the final piece of my role as a Lord's daughter. The first time I met him was a time of extremes. The person I met around people was a brilliant and kind young man, but the man that appeared once it was just us two was someone that frightened me."
-Brooke Scott

About one year before the Fall of Tree Hill, and when Brooke was fourteen she was told by her mother Karen that Dan was in discussions with House Baker in order to have her married off to their heir Julian Baker who at that point was seventeen. Karen spent a long time telling Brooke how great a young man this Julian was supposed to be, and Brooke had always trusted her mother in these types of things so she trusted her yet again. It would be weeks of negotiations before she

Brooke Scott Small8

actually met Julian and when she did her first sight of him was that he was an extremely handsome man, and clad in his armor he looked like a true knight. Thus Brooke was excited, and when he spoke to her he spoke with a grace to her that made her feel comforted, and he held her hand the entire time that they were surrounded by their parents, and siblings. With everyone about to go home Julian asked to have a few minutes alone with her so that they could talk without anyone watching them. Their parents agreed and silently shuffled out of the room, and when they did Brooke waited excitedly beside Julian for whatever he would say to her, and she held his hand closely feeling a protectiveness from his touch. It was in this moment that the changes in Julian became clear, as the moment their parents were out of the room, his hand pulled itself from her, and he went over to the cabinet where he made himself a drink. Wanting to remain the picture of calm and happiness Brooke just stood their watching as seemingly a light had flicked in his mind and turned him into a different person. They stood alone in that room for some five minutes while he stood facing the cabinet making himself one drink, and then two, and by the time he had made himself the fourth drink Brooke had lost hope the other person was coming back.

Brooke Scott Large2
"He just stood there staring at the wall, with his head only moving to drink the glass in his hand, or to refill it once it was empty. I had no experiance in these matters so I didn't know if this kind of behavior was normal so I just stood there watching him. And then without a second thought he chugged the glass he had in his hand and then returned to me, where he grabbed my hand and moved me over to the table and sat across from staring at me with what I assume was his attempt at a charming face, but it was devoid of real emotions. A few seconds after we had sat down my father walked in, and I had never been more excited to see my father then I was in that moment."
-Brooke Scott

As quickly as he was away from her, he returned to her side and pulled her like a rag doll towards the table in the room. Once at the table he reached across the table and held her hand, and stared into her eyes, and where five minutes ago she felt protected, and loved when he did that she now felt a strange tinge of danger from Julian as he was clearly not mentally put together. A few seconds after this her father walked in and a look in his eyes said that the only reason Julian was now at her side was because he had heard Dan coming, otherwise he had no interest in being at Brooke's side. It

Lindsay Baker Gif

was in that moment that both families reentered the room that a new face entered in the form a beautiful young women several years older then she was. As this young women walked in the resemblance to Julian made it easy for Brooke to know that this was Lindsay Baker his sister, and she prepared to walk over and meet her, when she caught her eyes and saw a very angry girl looking back at her. For the briefest of moments Lindsay looked at Brooke with pure hatred, and then as if she was able to turn that off she moved forward toward Brooke and gave her a hug before saying how happy she was for Brooke and her brother. As she was being hugged she could see Julian watching them, and his eyes shined with an almost mistevious tension as he watched them. As Lindsay pulled away from the hug she grabbed Brooke's arm and pulled her into the other room to talk to her.

Brooke Scott(2

Meeting the sister

"As she pulled me through her family estate the harshness of her hand told me that this girl hated me. I didn't know this girl from anywhere, and I spent the time that she was dragging me around trying to find any words that I might say to make her like me. Turns out she just attacked me before I had a chance but even if she hadn't I don't know what I would have said."
-Brooke Scott

As Lindsay closed the door behind Brooke she grabbed her hand again but this time much more harshly and pulled her farther into the house, before going outside and into another small house outside the main house. Once inside this house Lindsay let go of her hand before slapping Brooke across the face and pushing her to the ground. Brooke was much younger then Lindsay and this was the first moment in her life where someone had ever reacted truly angry towards her so she didn't know what to do, and she just lay there as Lindsay screamed at her. Through all the screaming she heard the door open and hoped that someone was coming to save her, but when the verbal and sometimes physical attacks continued she realized she must have been hearing things. Lindsay screamed at her that Julian was hers and that she would not allow Brooke to interfere with her love for Julian.

Brooke Scott Small7
"I watched with obvious amusement as my sister fought my prospective wife over the right to bed me. In the eyes of Lindsay I saw a women who loved me unconditionally, but in the eyes of Brooke I saw nothing but distain for both me and my sister. Not that I blamed her, I didn't feel a thing for her, and in all truth I just wanted to get out of here and ravish Lindsay. The Brooke problem could wait for another day."
-Julian Baker

As Lindsay started to get in her face, Brooke simply walked out of the room, and despite the yelling after her by Lindsay she didn't stop. She didn't dare look back she just walked back to her family, and told her father that it was time for them to leave. Her father gave her a look of pure hatred, but Karen

Brooke Scott Small15

saw the near tears in Brooke's eyes and made an excuse of why they needed to leave so that Brooke wasn't punished so harshly. As they arrived back in the House Scott estate, Brooke acted perfectly normal until finally Dan left the room, and once this had happened Brooke broke down crying, and it was Lucas that found her in her room in this state. When he asked her what had happened she told him the truth, and that she needed the wedding to not happen. She didn't feel right about the situation, and even though she knew what her role was she needed to get out of this. Lucas believed everything she was saying with every ounce of himself, and for this reason he stormed into his parents room at this point nearly in the middle of the night to discover his father Dan in bed with Nesme Oakheart of whom was the wife of one of Dan's vassals. Lucas grabbed Dan by the collar and punched him which caused a fight to break out between the two, and the ruckas became so much that eventually Nathan and Brooke both entered the room to find the still nearly completely naked Nesme Oakheart hiding behind a blanket while Lucas, and Dan rolled around the floor. Nathan went to call a gaurd but Dan stopped him, and continued fighting so Nathan stopped Dan himself by throwing Dan to one side, and grabbing Lucas by the shoulders and taking him back to his room. With Lucas gone from the room Brooke just stared at her father. She stared at him for the complete hypocrit that he was, and in this moment she finally understood how pathetic he was which caused her to laugh out loud.

Love of a Grandfather

``My father was a cold and calculating man with little love for anyone but my brother Nathan. My mother Karen was constantly worried about my brother Lucas. It was my Grandfather that was the one that paid attention to me. It was my Grandfather that tried everyday to make sure I had a smile on my face. It was my Grandfather that was the one that I scorned in favor of the friends that cared nothing for me. It was my decisions in regards to him, and the lies I told that haunted me more then anything else that happened in my youth.

-Brooke Scott

A Family relationship that was suprising in the family was her relationship with her grandfather Earl Scott. Earl Scott was a hard and strict man that showed very little affection for his children, and even less to his grandchildren, but for whatever reason he was enamered by his grand-daughter Brooke Scott. While Earl Scott would spend some time with Lucas Scott of whom many spoke of as reminding them all of Earl when he was younger, he basically spent most of his kindness on making sure Brooke was happy. For much of her youth her relationship with her grandfather took the place for her lack of relationship with her actual father Dan. Earl spoiled Brooke to no end, and Brooke begin accompanying her grand-father on his

constant trips throughout Lucerne. During these trips she was able to see all the major cities of Lucerne, and at one point she actually visited the Lucernian Academy where her future lover William Lovie III. would be taking classes. While she was at the academy her grandfather had asked her whether she wanted to come to school here, and she had said no because she was afraid to be in the big city without anyone she knew. Brooke had silently dreamed of going to the Lucernian Academy but the fact that it was so far away from everything that she knew wasn't even what did it to her. She felt this feeling in her heart like she was somehow needed in Tree Hill. This would be a decision that had not been popular with her father, and mother who both believed that she needed to go to the Lucernian Academy if she wanted to have any hope in becoming popular enough to gain a proper husband, but their desires were overruled by Earl Scott who had a horrible habit of giving Brooke everything she wanted.

Fall of Tree Hill

Main Article : First Battle of Tree Hill

``A lot of people like to talk about the city as if its dead now. As if what happened on those dark days has to define us for the rest of our lives. I try everyday to move past it. I go about my day with the express desire of forgetting about those days and just reveling in the beauty that is the world now. It was only when I died that I realized it was always there. It was only when I fell into darkness that I understood that they were right. That moment changed all that were there. That moment changed us in a way that we can never truly understand. I wish I could have had more time.``

-Brooke Scott

The Fall of Tree Hill would be a defining moment in Brooke's life as she both lost and gained her soul while she endured the siege of the city for almost eight years. Brooke was fourteen years old when the Orcs would finally come to besiege the city, and she was just coming into her own amongst the town when everything was thrown up around her.

Brooke Scott)3

The Opening Days

``Had I have gone with my Grandfather what would have changed. Could I have convinsed him to stay away once the city had fallen. Could I have done something that noone elce would have thought of. In the end I`ll never know because I was stupod and wanted to spend time with my friends. Everyone paid for my mistakes. The worst part is that he died alone on that field outside the city.``

-Brooke Scott

In an unlucky move on her part she had been asked by her Grandfather Earl Scott to accompany him to Forks on his trading mission, but she had lied and told him that she wasn't feeling well. Instead of going with her grandfather she stayed in the city and spent time with her friends. She and her friends would spend the day doing nothing more then sitting around and soaking in the sun that was prevelent amonst the higher parts of the noble section of Tree Hill. Brooke felt bad that she didn't go with her grandfather but she planned to make it up to him when he got back to Tree Hill. Brooke was in the Tree Hill Keep when the attack began. She and a group of Tree Hill nobles were eating when a gaurd rushed in and said the city was under attack. With this news she and many of the other's around her rushed to the tower of the Keep to see what the commotion was.

Brooke following her attack during the gate

Brooke after the incident at the gate.

The Gate

``The part of the city near the gate was on fire. I didn`t know much about warfare, but I knew that a city on fire wasn`t a good thing.``

-Brooke Scott

When she reached the roof she could just make out that there was a growing fire near the front gate of the city. She along with everyone elce begin to openly question the gaurds assertion that a hostile force was the one causing the fire and comotion at the gate, and many begin to talk about returning to dinner while the lesser citizens delt with the fire. As a few of the nobles prepared to leave the smoke cleared from the fire at the gatehouse just enough that you could see the etchings of a massive army all around the gate and stretching a huge way out. With the vision of the army everyone begin to panic and it took the gaurds present to get the situation under control, and they went about moving the nobles to the more inner sections of the keep. The group would stop as a massive crash went off and one of the towers to the east of the Gatehouse splintered and nearly collapsed after it was hit by an Orc Catapult. Even the gaurds were not scared and thus everyone stood on the balcony watching as things got worse. She watched along with many other nobles of the city as the Orcs in a matter of hours overran the entrance to the city, and quickly spread throughout. She was scared beyond belief but when Haley decided to head to the Keep gate and help the retreating survivors Brooke followed her down.

Brooke Scott)2

Chasing Hope

``What we thought we could accomplish down there I`ll never know. I don`t understand a lot about that part of the day but the biggest thing I don`t understand is why we survived. Does the Dragon reward such recklessness. Did the Dragon pity us that day or did we make our own luck.``

-Brooke Scott

When the two reached the gateway their was chaos as hundreds to thousands attempted to retreat through the gate, and the gaurds were in preperation to close the gate. At this point Haley saw a young girl knocked out by a fleeing man, and she ran outside the gate towards the little girl. Brooke quickly followed her friend and Haley picked up the girl and then the two begin to make their way back towards the gate. As they rushed back Haley got pushed out of the way by a panicked crowd trying to get across, and she fell into the water, which Brooke didn't notice because of the massive amount of people attempting to get inside the keep. When Brooke reached the inside and set the girl down she then looked around and couldn't see Haley anywhere, and so she started heading back onto the bridge which was still clogged with people. When she couldn't get through the crowd she went on to the wall and tried to look out and see if she could see Haley, and by sheer luck she saw Haley laying face down on the grass to the right of the bridge. Brooke with a stength she didn't know she had pushed her way through the fleeing people and was able to get through to the other side of the bridge where she for the first time saw an Orc.

Saving Haley

Haley Scott (3)

"I just stared at it for a moment completely horrified. The creature was hacking into the side of a young girl with its sword, and when its sword sliced through its eyes simply moved to find something elce to kill. Those eyes were so dead it was terrifying."

-Brooke Scott

As the Orc was felled by an arrow she recovered and moved to Haley where she was able to just barely get Haley picked up, and she slowly carried her by the shoulder back across the bridge. As she carried the still uncontious body of Haley she was shocked as she now saw the real face of humanity as man after man just ran by her and made no attempt to help her carry Haley. When she finnally made it across the bridge and into the castle she laid Haley down beside some boxes and pleaded for her to wake up. With Haley now somewhat safe she was able to wake her up with a slap across the face.

Tree Hill in Ruins

With the Orcs momentarily pushed back she along with the rest of the survivors were able to step back and take account of what had just happened. In a moment most of her friends had been killed, her grandfather was dead, and half the city dead. She wanted to break down but when she saw her brother Lucas she knew she had to keep him from losing it.

Jurden Hardaxe

The Siege

If the battle was tough in that most people lost a lot of their families if not all the siege was even worse. The Orcs were led by Jurden Hardaxe and he was unlike many Orcs a member of the elite caste of the Orcs which meant that he was more intelligent then the rest of the savage orcs that made up the armies that had rampaged across France, and now Tree Hill. Jurden decided early on that he was going to make this pyschological in that he wanted to weaken his oponents in his own army so that when they moved on to Forks he would be completely dominent, and at the same time he truly enjoyed the pain he was going to cause on the humans of Tree Hill.

Brooke Scott16

With this strategy in mind Brooke and the rest of the survivors were treated to entire days of the Orcs simply standing throughout the city in painful arrogance of their numbers. They would do this and then scream throughout the entire night so that noone inside could sleep (as if they could anyway with the massive army just sitting inside the city. As the siege wore on it became a series of minor conflicts where Jurden would send his commanders that he wanted dead on near suicide missions against the keep, but even these suicide missions cost the defenders dearly as they ran out of basically all things they needed. During this time Brooke became knowledgable in healing as many of the women were forced to take on male roles in order for the city to survive while the men fought. She discovered during this healing time that she had quite the skill for the act of healing, and with very little prompting she is now capable of many things that regular nurses cannot even do.

Meeting Andrew Lovie

Main Article : The Journey

"It was like looking into perfection. I had been with many women in my life, and in the span of three weeks I was finding myself doing something for the second time. I was falling in love again. I could feel my heart flutter at the sight of her, and even though I love Bella I couldn't help myself. I needed to feel her. To hear her voice. I needed her..."

-Andrew Lovie

The entire city was abuzz, with news that the Prince of Lucerne was heading into the city. For many including Brooke this would be their first look at a member of the Royal Family. On top of just seeing a member of the revered royal family they were also going to meet the man who had saved them all from death or slavery.

Brooke Scott13

When he entered the city he was mobbed by the crowd, and it took many minutes before he reached the town hall where the Scott Family waited for him. It's said that when she looked at him she fell instantly in love with him, and it appears that the feeling was mutual. This provided a deeply troubling situation for the prince as he had already proposed to Bella Swan back in Forks, under the pretense that his love for her was the greatest he could ever feel. Brooke watched him as he moved towards her father and shook his hand before Dan introduced the entire remnents of House Scott to him. As Dan moved down the line and finnally reached the spot where Brooke was the situation became different and as Andrew took her hand to kiss the top of her hand, the two became locked in eachother embrace for a moment and only a slight shot to the back of Andrew from Jasper moved Andrew along. Despite moving along he was lost in his mind over the image he had gained of the beautiful girl. As he followed Dan Scott into the Scott manor he hoped and prayed that she would join him, while at the same time he also knew that it was a dangerous game, and she was the kind of girl that he could see himself going to war over. The silent looks, and held kisses was something that passed by the majority of the members of House Scott but one number that didn't ignore it was Lucas Scott, of whome immediatly thought he had a crush on me.

William Lovie III

Falling for the prince

``My parents would push me into it in their own silent ways. I mean they said all the right things when they told me that he was off limits to me, and that I needed to stop, but in the darkness they whispered to me that being with him could push House Scott into the position that House Swan had long coveted. For me I cared nothing for the politics of the situation. I didn`t care about Bella, or being Queen. I just wanted him. It was always about him for me. Always him.``

-Brooke Scott

As the meetings ended Brooke's father Dan had by this point seen the looks that were being constantly shared between the young prince and his youngest child, and in this moment he also knew that Andrew was involved with Bella Swan of House Swan. With this in mind Dan wanted to make sure that he was able to get House Scott into a higher position and what better way then if his daughter became invovled with the prince. In order to sucede at this he told Andrew that he had important business to attend to but that his lovely daughter Brooke would be more then happy to show him around the town. Both of the young adults just kind of stared at eachother with Andrew understanding that he may not be able to control himself around her, and Brooke wanting desperatly for him to be with her. The two walked around the town, as Andrew got to know the girl that he couldn't understand why he felt such an uncrontollable pull towards her. As they walked together the conversation was simply, but it wasn't the conversation that changed things it was the moment that Andrew felt

Brooke Scott Small

the pull so strong that he moved his hand towards hers and gently rubbed his hand up and down her hand. When he did this she looke up at him through her eyelashes and they both knew that resisting had ended for Andrew and he had relented. With this gesture from him, Brooke saw her chance and grabbed his hand and they walked from that point on hand in hand. As they reached the last spot that Brooke thought she could even explain to him, she was scared that this would be the end and that she wouldn't see him anymore unless she did something drastic. She couldn't know that at the same time she was worried it was going to end, Andrew was feeling the same fear, and so together in that moment she made the decision to go for it. She grasped his hand tighter and told him that there was one last thing that he needed to see before the tour was over. She led him towards the ruins of the front esate of House James which she knew would be empty because they were having celebetory dinner with her father.

Funeral of Earl Scott

"As the fires stopped burning my mind returned to the grand-father that I had loved so much back then and could't help but think how much he had been forgotten. He died so that all of us could live, and yet my father cared nothing about it. The funural was about remembering his life and the way he died. It was about showing him somehow how sorry I was."

-Brooke Scott

When the fires had stopped burning and William had returned to Lucerne to deal with his father, Brooke was left with the fact that now she was safe but at the same time she had lost so much. Her friends were dead, her family was in tatters, and the one person other then Haley and Peyton that had loved in her in the form of her grand-father was dead. She asked her mother if they had found any sign of her grandfather but she said that by this time there was nothing to find. When she asked if there would be a funural Karen said that Dan didn't think it

Brooke Scott Small2

was approapriate and was making efforts to make sure that Earl Scott's name was forgotten from the memory of Tree Hill so that he alone would be celebrated. At this news she left her mothers side near tears and made her way to her grandfather's room where she discovered servents tearing into the room. When she went to ask them what was going on, her father came up behind her and told her that Earl's room was being turned into a resting room for Karen. Brooke didn't know what to say to her father so she ran out of their and ran away past the cries of Haley who noticed her running away, and finally made her way to the glades west of Tree Hill where she and her grandfather had spent a lot of time.

Brooke Scott)9

Begging a King

"The city was massive. Gleaming white as you entered its walls but when I did get past the walls the whole city was alive with the sounds of cheering, and laughter. After living so many years just begging to live this was a new thing for me, and knowing that he was responsible for all this happiness didn't suprise me one bit."

-Brooke Scott

With her attempts to get her family to do what she wanted she risked a lot by deciding that she needed to see William. She was able to talk Haley into pretending that Brooke was staying with friends for a while and the sad fact was that noone in her family except for Lucas even noticed her absence. She made her way by carriage to Lucerne and arrived there to the sight of a parade. The carriage driver explained that William Lovie had taken control of the Kingdom and was now the King after he had thrown Bill, and Sean Lovie out of Lucerne. She covered herself in garbs as if she was an Ostrogoth, and made her way to the Keep where she hoped to find Jasper, Edward or Emmett because William had told her that of anyone alive those were the people he trusted next to his sister. She would have gone to Alice but she worried that Alice would be on Bella's side and wouldn't help her. If she had thought that she was given ample proof of that when she arrived at the Keep and wasn't greeted by one of his best friends but instead by Alice Lovie of whome stood in the Gateway staring at her through the garb as if she had somehow known all along that she was coming.

The Funeral

“Grief is like the ocean; it’s deep and dark and bigger than all of us. And pain is like a thief in the night. Quiet. Persistent. Unfair. Diminished by time and faith and love. I didn’t know Quentin Fields, but I’m jealous of him, because I see how his absence has affected the people who did know him. So I know he mattered to them. And I know he was loved. People say that Quentin Fields was a great basketball player: graceful, fluid, inspiring. They say on a good night it almost seemed as though he could fly. And now he can.”

It wasn't more then two months after Andrew had left the city, and the beggining of their affair that Brooke begin having trouble keeping food down early in the day, and soon after she realized that she hadn't had her period during that time either. Thinking she knew what it was but wanting to be sure before she sprung this potentially horrible news on Andrew she went to Haley, and when the two met she created the first lie between the two when she told Haley she had become involved romantically with a Gondorian soilder. Haley indeed validated her pregnancy, and with the knowledge that Andrew was coming to Tree Hill in less then a month she became increasingly worried about what his reaction would be. With her best friend Margeary Tyrell the only person who truly knew about Andrew she became hysterical when she saw Margeary a week later upon her return from Forks.

Moving Forward

Brooke Scott 3

Brooke told her of her pregnancy, and her friend attempted to talk her down as in her heart she knew that Andrew could very likely simply end the relationship and turn Brooke into a single mother with very little prospects for the rest of her life. Despite these constant and powerful pleading by Margeary Brooke was unwilling to accept a world where she didn't have his baby and thus she begged Margeary to assist her in finding a proper excuse as to how she could be pregnant. Despite the extreme misgivings that Margeary had about the decision she was still her best friend so together they came up with the idea that a Gondorian soilder and her had become romantically involved following the liberation and she had become pregnant during these intimate moments. When she told her family they all appeared to believe her except for Lucas who had come to understand what had happened between Brooke and Andrew, and in that moment when he figured it out he went to his sister.

Lucas Discovers the Truth

``He walked into the room after I told everyone and had planned to hide out in my room for the duration of the pregnancy. He didn`t say a word just walked up to my bed and sat down on the side and rested his hand on my back. As he looked at me in the eyes I knew he knew and I nearly immediatly begin crying. To his credit he sat there with me and rubbed my back while I cried.``
-Brooke Scott

As Brooke finished telling her parents she retreated to her room as she was basically pulled along by Margeary. When they arrived back in her room she was shocked when noone followed her, but she could hear yelling from the living room so she knew that they were still argueing over what was happening. When Margeary left she was followed behind by her brother Lucas who had known about the tryst that she had with William Lovie after he had admitted it to him because of their bond. He didn`t say anything but she had always suspected that he knew, and the look he gave her just made it all the more real for her. After she cried for what felt like hours she and Lucas discussed what she was going to do, and she made it very clear that she was not going to give up the baby under any circumstances. Niether of them knew but there entire conversation would be overheard by Dan Scott of whome had planned on coming in and making sure that Brooke knew how much of a disapointment she was when he heard her whispering to Lucas in the room. Knowing this he hid himself in an adjacent room and listened to everything they said about the situation.

The Fall

Brooke Scott1
"I realized quickly that life without him was just utterly not something I was willing to live. It was either with him, or without him completely. I tried to tell him how much he meant to me, and that I couldn't live without him, but in the end I understood his problem. He couldn't just leave her. She was the Queen of Lucerne, and while she was there was never going to be a time when me and William would truly be together. I had to change the foundation of the Kingdom if I wanted my life to go the way I believe I deserve."
-Brooke Scott

Following the birth of their second child the situation between William, and Brooke began to deterioate to the point that Brooke hardly went a day without crying. This went on for months until eventually William could no longer contain his guilt for the complete destruction that he was causing to not only Bella but now to his fated love Brooke. Brooke sent him constant letters and it was while they were sending eachother letters that Brooke begin to show evidance of another pregnancy by Andrew Lovie. When she sent him the next letter and described the fact that she was pregnant with another one of his children he wanted with everything in him to simply go and see her, but he knew that he had promiced himself to Bella Swan and thus couldn't get involved anymore. When Andrew's return letter was filled with none of the writing style that had framed her beloved for their relationships history she knew something was wrong, and she was proven correct when he didn't come to Tree Hill during the next scheduled meeting with the royal family, and on top of this the next letter she sent didn't get responded to.

Return of Andrew

"I didn't know that it was Bella's words that had drawn him back to me. She had given up what I never could because she was capable of understanding that he needed both of us. However much it pained her she knew that he could only be truly happy if both of us were by his side in whatever way we could be. I envy that she was selfless enough to be able to do that because I would have never done it if the situation was reversed."

"I knew that life was never going to be the same as long as she was alive. The world had always carried a tinge of darkness since he begin slipping out of my life, and I knew that wouldn't stop until I made her go away."
-Brooke Scott

For Brooke Scott life was begininning to become depressing in a terrible way before the return of Andrew, but with his return it was as if all the things that troubled her were distant memories of trouble long forgotten. Despite the fact that she understood that Andrew was never going to leave his wife on his own, she was now driven to end the marriage. In this drive she became involved with a women named Heather Yearl of Forks who told Brooke that she could create a potion that if injested by the Queen would make her infertile and thus her plan to make Andrew leave Bella would have true grounds. She knew that this plan would work in her mind, but she needed a way to actually implement the plan and for that she needed someone that hated Bella and was willing to give her a toxin. She had trouble finding someone like this but she remembered as a young girl that her friend Thomas Nighting had mentioned during torture that his family had used a women in Tree Hill as the one that was responsible for these acts, and with this girl in mind Brooke went about finding her. Brooke during this time was consumed with her hatred of Bella Swan, and despite the fact that she understood everything she was planning to do, she continued down the same dark path until she finally found the alchemist. The alchemist told her that for sufficiant funds she would provide her with the poison, and Brooke immediatly gave her the poison, and then was told to return in three days and the potion would be done.

Brooke Scott Small11
"I watched her change from the kind young women that I had met on the steps of the Scott Keep. I watched her hatred for Bella Swan overcome her. Change her from the person she was to the person I knew my master would eventually make her. Her love for him was painful to behold. It was the strongest connection I've ever seen in my entire life."
-Morrigan

As she continued down this path she became watched by Morrigan who was a daughter of Flemeth, and had been ordered to keep her eye open for any females who could be used to get close to the King of Lucerne, and with knowledge now of the affair Morrigan sent word to Flemeth who proceeded to work out plans to turn Brooke Scott into one of her pawns. Morrigan believed that this was the only way to stop Brooke from killing Bella of whom she felt didn't deserve to die, and of whom Morrigan believed was a more effective Queen the what Brooke would make. Thus she only did the bidding of Flemeth because she couldn't find a better way to stop Brooke. Flemeth responded back very quickly with the news that a Dark Man would be coming soon, and that she should make sure that everything was prepared because they only had a few more months before the Lucernians and their Magi shield would block their ability to move freely in the same way they had always done. Morrigan knew that she had signed Brooke Scott's death warrant and for this reason she went to Brooke in order to explain to her why she was going to die.

"Death"

Brooke Scott(7
"It was like looking at the most horrifying creature imagineable in your mind. It had no face that I could understand other then the hate filled eyes that just stared back at me. He whispered to me in my mind telling me darker and darker things. I begged him to leave. I pleaded for him to just tell me what he wanted, and when he told me I wished I had never asked. He told me I had to die, and that he wouldn't ever leave until I was dead. Needless to say I knew I had to see William. He would save me."
-Brooke Scott

When Brooke returned to the alchemist three days later she found the potion ready for her, but as she walked out of the house she ran into a man clothed completely in black robes, and wearing a mask that showed nothing but the outline of his pure red eyes. This scared her, and she screamed to the crowd for them stop the man, and the crowd couldn't see him so they attacked a man that was just standing by her, and nearly killed him to protect Brooke. As she watched the Dark Man just stood there and watched. He followed her home, and she attempted to get him away but as she did this she realized that she was the only that could see him. She knew that if this was Magi related the only person who might be able to help her was Morrigan so she ran to find her all the while being followed by the Dark Man. When she arrived at the home of Morrigan she could clearly see him, but Morrigan played it off as if she couldn't and this sealed the fate of Brooke's sanity.

THE dark Man1
"When Morrigan couldn't see him, it was like an alarm went off in my mind that told me what I had feared all along. I was insane. Somewhere along the line I had lost my mind trying to kill Bella. I knew in that moment that this was once again something I could overcome. I could ignore him. I could accept that he wasn't actually there, and I could move past this."
-Brooke Scott

She from that point on refused to accept he was there and went about her next days attempting to ignore him, but he begin to threaten those close to her, and she became scared once again to the point that she fled from him as fast as she could before she would take a carriage northward. She at first thought she had gotten away from him, but when she arrived in Lucerne she saw him waiting in the center of the gate, and knew that her time was almost gone. She entered Lucerne and when she reached the Cloud Tower she was met at the entrance by Alice Lovie of whom had had heard of her arrival in the town, and had moved to keep it a secret. Alice would take Brooke into the Sky Towers, and the two would finally get another chance at attacking eachother. The two would at first trade jabs at eachother verbally but as the fight continued and Bella arrived the fight became physical as Brooke physically attacked Brook the point of all of her rage. As this happened Emmett McCarty barged in and was able ot get Brooke under control, and got her out of the Skytowers, and towards the Kings Keep where William was.

Brooke Scott Large4

Brooke would have one last time with William before she accepted her fate.

"I thought that when I found him he would take out his sword and kill the Dark Man. I believed that the Dark Man would be gone once I found him, but when I opened my eyes and saw him I realized how wrong I was."
-Brooke Scott

As she arrived at the Kings Keep she found William standing at a table surrounded by both Jasper Hale, and Robb Starke. As she approached completely in tears he took her into his arms and took her into a side room. In the room she continued to cry, and he couldn't get her to explain what was wrong, and it was as this was happening that she opened her eyes and saw that the Dark Man was in the room with them. This time when she saw him she didn't cry out or try and get away from him, she just accepted that she was gone. In that moment she looked away from the Dark Man and back to the William, and she would smile at him before kissing him on the lips. The two would be intimate one more time, before she said her goodbyes to him, and when he tried to follow her, he was stopped by Alice Lovie of whom didn't want him to get in trouble with the people if they saw what was happening. Watching her walk away was one of the toughest things he had ever done, but what happened next would be far more painful to not just William but to many people throughout the valley.

Brooke Scott Small6
"I left the Kings Keep and just walked. I walked through the gates of Lucerne, and into the fields beyond. I don't know how long I walked before I finally saw him again. When I did he made a movement that told me to follow him. When I did follow him he took me to a waterfall I had heard William tell me about once before. He didn't have to tell me what to do I knew already. I don't remember quite what I said in my final goodbye to William but as I punged over the side of the waterfall I felt free of the Dark Man for the first time in a long time."
-Brooke Scott

Brooke would leave the Kings Keep and walk for nearly an entire day before finally the Dark Man brought her towards a waterfall where he waited beside her for her to kill herself. Brooke in that moment took off the necklase that William had given her all those years before, and held it close to herself for a time before she finally set it down on the ground beside what she assumed would be the site that they would believe she jumped from. When she finally did jump off the side she carried with her the curse he had done to her, and in this moment she became a "Daughter of Flemeth".

When Andrew liberated Tree Hill, there was a part of Brooke that had given up. Almost everyone she knew was dead, and there was very little reason she could see to continue. But the moment she saw him, she knew she had found her reason.

"It was over the moment I saw him. He waded through the crowd with such grace and beauty I couldn't tear my eyes away. When he stood talking to my father, it took everything in me not to reach out and touch him. I should feel bad about the two of us now that I know about Bella, but in truth I don't care about her. It's not about her. He's mine. He will always be mine."

-Brooke Scott

The two would continue an affair for many years and during this time they would parent two children, but eventually at Bella's 26th birthday Andrew became overwhelmed with guilt over what he was doing and ended the relationship with Brooke so that he could attempt to be the honorable man he knew he was supposed to be.

"Haley is a girl that calling strong doesnt even come close to acurately telling her story. She always has time for anyone, and everyone's problems and it doesn't matter that shes suffering just as bad. She just has a heart that is boundless in its size."
