Crane Castle is a large castle and town located in the province of Southern Tree Hill within the Grand State of the Stormlands and the Kingdom of Lucerne. Crane Castle is dominated by House Crane of whom took their family name after the Crane birds that populate the hills south of Crane Castle and they have held the town and castle as their seat for their entire history. Crane Castle has a small Italian population but the vast majority of its population is Vandals of whom overwhelmed the area during The Great Migration and have since become extremely numerous to the point they have overtaken the once dominant Italian population.
Crane Castle was first founded upon by Romans entering the region and they built a large tower-fast where they built homes around before after only a few generations they were driven away by the Spiders of whom overwhelmed the region. Eventually during the Great Migration the area came under the sway of the Vandals as the early members of House Crane came to dominate the area and expanded upon the old tower-fast of the Romans making it their seat.

The spiders would not hold the region, and thus years later when the Spiders had left the Italians begin to return to the area but after the previous losses the Roman Empire made no conserted effort to actually colonize the area.
