Denyse Mountain is the daughter of Leyton and Hylen Mountain making her a member of House Mountain. Denyse Mountain has four siblings in the form of Derek, Garth, Allysanne, and Leyla Mountian of which her brother Garth was a brave young man but was killed during the Battle of Castle Stragnarax, her sister Leyla is married to Jon Cupps the heir of House Cupps the sworn house of House Mountain, her sister Allysanne is married to Arthur Ambrose of House Ambrose, and her final brother in the form of Derek is powerful Dragon Knight and is married into House Swan but leads a large part of the forces of House Mountain. Denyse Mountain is married to Desmond Redwynne of whom she fell in love with after he named her the Queen of Love and Beauty after he won the tournament. With Desmond Redwynne she has two children in the form of Leyton, and Mollia Redwynne of whom her son Leyton is twelve at the time of the Rise of Lucerne and is squiring for his relative Derek Mountain, while her daughter Mollia is only six during the Rise of Lucerne and is known for being constantly near her mother.
Denyse Mountain would fall in love with Desmond Redwynne after she visited a tournament held in Stormwind. During this tournament Desmond would defeat all competitors and when he was being crowned the victor he ignored his bethrothed wife to be, and named Denyse Mountain his Queen of Love and Beauty. This would lead to the two spending the night together as was tradition, and following this Desmond had his father end his current marriage and start a bethrothel with the only fourteen year old Denyse.
