The Fall of Whiterock is told from the POV of three characters in the form of Thilora Shadebreeze, Tharbug Kegbranch, and Alardin Tirasse of which Thilora would be a high ranking sentinel in the Whitemarsh Kingdom and took part in the defence of Whitemarsh Forest, while Tharbug was the prince of Karak Thigvul the capital of the Dwarves of Whiterock and would die defending the mountains of his home, while finally Alardin was a prince in the human Kingdom of Whiterock but after a woman he loved betrayed him he would turn against his people siding with the Orcs and leading to the Fall of Whiterock through his actions.

Thilora Shadebreeze is the POV Character of this chapter and during this chapter she marches out Gate of El'Glighten alongside several hundred sentinals under her command as they are moving eastward to assist the Bretonian town of Velousitte which has come under assault from the rampaging Orcs. The chapter ends with Thilora leading the survivors of the Battle of Velousitte westward back into the Whitemarsh Forests, ans as they march westward and they reach a large hill she looks back and can see what looks like a near endless line of Orcs making their way towards her and the Whitemarsh Forests.
Tharbug Kegbranch is the POV Character of this chapter and during this chapter he leads a troop of Ironbreakers into the depths of the Realm of Whitepeak where they are answering a call for assistance from Thaig Digrogh. Arriving at the entrance to Thaig Digrogh they find everything is as they would expect, but when the gates open they find a wall of soldiers on the other side who hurridly bring them inside. Discovering from Thane Deldoc Plainhead, and Runelord Kringit Mirthfoot that Thaig Digrogh raised its armies following survivors from Thaig Gonragh had arrived at their gates telling them that Thaig Gonragh had been completely overrun by Skaven. The chapter ends with Tharbug and his forces arriving at the gates of Thaig Gonragh where as they move towards the gates they see they are destroyed and along with the destruction clearly visible is just a mass of bodies all over the place as the signs of battle are everywhere.
