Jaina Menathil is the daughter of Daelin, and Theresa Proudmoore making her a member of House Proudmoore. Jaina has two sibling in the form of Menelia, and Derek Proudmoore of whome Derek is the heir to House Proudmoore, and their island lands ofKul Tiras, while her sister was murdered while on a trading mission in the Iron Islands. Jaina is the wife of Arthas Menathil, of which makes her a member of House Menathil, and towards the end of the Rise of Lucerne she becomes aware that she is pregnant with their first child, and when one of Arthas's cronies learns of this and tells him the fate of Jaina is completely unknown. Once she was truly in love with Arthas and although she still loves him with all of herself, she has seen the silent change in Arthas that has led him to stray morally from what he once was. With Arthas's change she has thrown herself into theKirin Tor.

Jaina Menathil is a Magi sensitive person of whom is a category level four Magi. Jaina Menathil is extremely powerful in the controlling of the elementals and is one of many Magi that are conjuring in what they control the most.

Jaina Proudmoore was born on the island land of Kul Tiras and was third in line to inherit the lands making her a valuable commodity to many nations. She would become depressed following the death of her sister and her parents would send her to Lorderon where she would meet Arthas Menathil and fall in love with him. They had a fairy tale relationship for years, but unknown to Jaina was that he was suffering continuously from madness in his mind that he fought day and night to resist. As he lost control she followed him to Arnor where she hoped he would find answers but instead of this he found more sadness, and so begin their decline as a couple. While everyone else bought the sell job he was doing in that he was normal again she saw the truth and as such she stopped spending so much time with him, and begin to devote all of her time to the Kirin Tor where she silently hoped to find a way to make him better. After months of trying to to fix the issues with Arthas she discovered that the corruption was brought on by Elu-Kael Thuzad and she brought this information to Arthas overjoyed that she had finally found a cure, but meeting with Arthas she realized that he was no longer interested in changing and when she threatened to kill Kael Thuzad he beat her and then realizing what he had done he banished her from Lorderon sending her back to Kul Tiras.

History

Early History

"Magi was once something I did to feel like I was a part of something greater then myselt. Something so large that the problems of this world just didn't seem to matter when I saw into the Fade. Now I am forced to use Magi as an escape from the madness that my life has become."

Jaina Menathil was born Jaina Proudmoore and is the daughter of Daelin, and Theresa Proudmoore, who are the ancestral Lords of Kul Tiras a large island land west of Lorderon. Her early life was happy enough, and she grew to love her parents with all her heart, and the only truly sad moment in her young life was the violent death of her young sister Menelia while she was traveling with her parents on a trading mission. Following this murder she became a little more reclusive, and came to enjoy wandering the Palace gardens during the night.

When he depression reached such levels that her father and mother begin to worry they sent her to Lorderon where they hoped she would find more friends her age, and perhaps they would allow her into the Kirin Tor. Once in Lorderon she came to enjoy walking the Lorderon palace grounds, and It was during one of these walks that she first met Arthas Menathil. The two of them would come to define each other in two very different ways. One thing was sure though, and that was that they both loved each other very early on in their relationship.

The Corruption of Arthas

The Corruption of Arthas Such a simple thing it is to destroy a mind. I could have killed a thousand men, women, and children and never had the effect on the world that I did when I destroyed one man's mind.

“It was as if one day I was a free man, and then the next I was plagued by a mind that was no longer free. The voices plagued me on a daily basis, but I was smart enough to know what happened if you were to tell anyone that you heard voices and I was arrogant enough at the time to believe I could fight past them.” — Arthas Menathil Underneath this aura of arrogance was a young man who was struggling with voices in his mind, that told him to do some truly evil things. While he always rejected what they said, he found as time went on the voices were harder and harder to ignore. He had unknowingly become cursed by a powerful Kirin Tor Magi named Kael'Thuzad, who was a servant of Sauron and wished to create another bastion of Mordor above the already weakening Gondor. This curse caused him to have an ever increasingly violent and sadistic voice in his mind that made him want to do dark things with his life, instead of the nobility that once filled the people's heart with hope for the future. The Coming of Uther “Son I want to introduce you to Uther Lightbringer. He comes from Arnor and he will train you in the ways of being a true knight. Listen to him son, for he will be of great influence upon you.” — Arthas Menathil In the hopes of changing this growing personality trait his parents brought in a man with a lot of experience in training young knights. They hired for a full year the assistance of Uther Lightbringer. Uther was a paladin from Arnor, and while he wasn't a top level commander of the Silver Knights which are the paladin order in Arnor, he was a notable paladin. With Uther as his trainer, the arrogance that Arthas had appeared to dissipate, and at times just appeared as overconfident. With the complete 360 accomplished Arthas's parents prepared for the release of Uther with a confidence they hadn't known in years. This farewell would be tempered when Uther came to see them first. The public, and for that matter no one outside of the three of them heard the conversation, but Uther told them of his fear for Arthas's sanity. “Your boy is going to be a great man. And in my brief time here I have grown to love him as if he was my own son. But saying this I must make you aware that young Arthas has a very high tendency for violence against though's he perceives as his enemies. Now while he could on a small level control this and only use it with his true enemies. I foresee a darker path. In my heart I fear what it would mean to stay beside him. I fear for my soul. I fear for us all.” — Uther Lightbringer To say the King and Queen were shocked was an understatement. The two quickly asked Uther to leave the Kingdom, of which he did the next day. Arthas was beyond confused why Uther had left before his time was done, and when after months of trying to get the answers from his parents he finally lost his inner control, and ran away from Lorderon and headed north to Arnor to discover the truth for himself. Seeking Help “That was the longest trip of my life. The whole time she's smiling at me with pure love in her eyes, and all I can hear in my head is the voice wondering what her face would look like without lips.” — Arthas Menathil Arthas had wanted to travel alone, but Jaina refused to let him go without her, so the two traveled the road and were at this point completely in love with each other. Jaina had fears that Arthas was becoming evil, but this man she was with appeared fully in control, with no hints of the violence he had told her about before Uther. Arriving in Gallheim After a week of travelling on the road northward the pair finally reached the city of Gallheim and were met by a party of Empire solders who happened to be led by a priest of Sigmar . The priest is said to have physically recoiled in fear of the evil he felt in front of him, and the priest quickly forced the pair to move past Gallheim towards their goals. Arriving in Talheim Arriving at Talheim should have been a moment of joy for Arthas but the voices in his head were pounding him with violent images, and eventually his mind became so overwhelmed that he passed out and had to be carried for nearly a mile by Jaina. When they finally reached Talheim Arthas would be taken into the palace grounds by Uther who met him with a large number of Paladins and Priests in order to try and help Arthas. Days later with Arthas still not awoken and Jaina was becoming so desperate that she convinced Uther to try and help Arthas and bringing together the Priests, and Paladins they would try and remove the demon from Arthas. Hours of working summoning spells, and chanting prayers they would unknowingly be fighting against the combined forces of Kael'Thuzad who was being assisted by Sauron and thus they were tricked into believing they succeed and Arthas would awaken completely clear in his mind and everyone was overjoyed they had fixed him. “You need to understand how fickle life is. You love this thing, and I believe you want to protect her. Do or say another thing that might threaten my existence and I will eat her while you watch.” — Demon within Arthas Menathil The pair would stay in Talheim for several days before beginning the journey back south to Lorderon where they would stay in Tyke. It was while Jaina slept that Arthas was confronted in his sleep by the curse once again of whom threatened him one last time to never again try to remove him or else he would kill Jaina. Rejecting this threat and preparing to wake her to return to Talheim the demon would take control of his body showing the full extent of his influence and this horrified Arthas of whom agreed to keep everything a secret.

The Death of a King

“Just give me time my love. I will find a way to get the voices out of your head. We can make this right.” — Jaina Proudmoore Following his conflict with the forces of Valeria Arthas felt a sence of failure that he had never known before, and his strained relationship with Jaina wouldn't allow him the support that he needed in this time. This support became filled with one of his mother's handmaiden's in the form of Diane Portmane. The two begin engaging in a sexual affair which Arthas came to rely on as a means of getting his stress out. For Diane she saw that her entry into the Menathil court was complete and she understood that she was one step closer to her goal of meeting the other side of her family. With Natalie in Arnor, and James very diligant with his training she has a one track mind towards rejoining the family she feels she was robbed of. As she grew closer to Arthas and they continued their romantic affarir, she became pregnant with his child shortly before the death of his father, and when she told him she menipulated him into accepting this child and he was preparing to leave Jaina when she miscarried the child. With the blackmail she was using now gone she was cast away from Arthas, and she found herself on the outs in the court.

Annexation of Lorderon

Annexation of Lorderon I see the way the wind is turning William. Already the feelers of the Boltens, and the Ironborn have come to our shores. Already we are threatened, and

“Sister, I am going to leave for a time. When I return things here will change quite dramatically, and people will question whether I have lost my mind. Understand that this is the last true sane thing I do in this world. I love you Talia. Tell Jaina...Tell Jaina whatever you think will make this easier.” — Arthas Menathil As King Tenamil Menathil neared the end of his life Arthas Menathil the next in line would contemplate what the death of his father would mean. Arthas Menathil during this time was increasingly overcome with the madness of his mind, and in the brief periods between the voices in his head being louder then his own he came to believe that his Kingdom was going to fall on its own. Arthas was increasingly worried about losing his mind, and in his goal to protect his people he was working closely with three Magi from the Kirin Tor in the form of Jowan Uerellian, Anders Virtion, and his wife Azhellion Virtion of which Anders was his friend from there childhood and so knew everything that was happening in his head. Whether it was annexed by Arnor, Bolten, or bought by The Empire it wasn't going to be independent anymore so he had to make some changes if he wanted the Atlantian people to move forward. When his father finally passed away Arthas refused the customary crowning of the new King and instead stood as the prince apparent for nearly two months as he decided on what to do. Since the beginning of his fathers reign the importance of Lorderon had declined to such an extent that very few of the powerful continental powers sent representatives to Lorderon for the funeral, but one of the these few was the Kingdom of Lucerne of whom sent a heavy contingent led by Jacob Vorn IV. and Catherine Lovie and her husband. “Milday when you return to Lucerne tell your nephew and the king that I will be coming to Lucerne soon. I agree with what you say Jacob. The time to be separate is coming to an end. I believe that if my people can be promised there safety as a group then I can believe in your words.” — Arthas Menathil During the funeral Arthas Menathil was having a relatively quiet time of the voices in his head and was able to mingle as he once had done so easily, and even Jaina Menathil was surprised with the way he appeared to be his old self. During this period of sanity he was unaware that his friend Anders had been trying a spell on him in order to see if it worked, but Anders of whom by this point was increasingly losing his mind to the levels of Magi influence he was gaining withheld that he might have found a way from Arthas`s curse. While in this period of sanity Arthas would speak with Catherine Lovie, and Jacob Vorn of which Jacob quickly saw that Arthas wanted a way into the Kingdom of Lucerne in some manner and spoke openly of the protection of Numenorians, and Atlantians, as well as discussing the disire of the king to protect Arnor the way he had protected Gondor. All of this was exactly what Arthas had been dreaming of, and he would tell Catherine and Jacob that he would visit Lucerne in order to meet with the king and discuss possibilities. Following this the funeral would take place and the Lucernians left in major numbers the following day, but several hidden members of the Order of the Green Dragon would remain behind in the form of Myriam Lonmouth, Dickon Hill and Whelia Moore of whom would be tasked to very silently keep an eye on what was happening in the city of Lorderon. Arthas Come to Lucerne “I am very pleased to meet you Arthas. I have heard stories of how you went out of your way to honor your pacts with Arnor against Valeria. It is in that kind of honor that the future of this continent should stand.” — William Lovie III. The Deal is Struck “I think it is clear that I did not come here just to talk with you. I came here to protect my people from the monsters all around them. I believe in my heart that the only way to do that is to join with your people. I believe this in my heart, but before I can make it anything more then just a thought I need you to promise me something. I need you to put it in writing that Lorderon shall always be a Numenorian land. The Germans may not colonize us as they have so many other places.” — Arthas Menathil

The Fall of Arthas

The Fall of Arthas He's gone Lady Menathil. All your research. All your time. It's time to stop. Hur-Arthas Menathil cannot be saved anymore because he is gone. Time to stop.

“Just give me time my love. I will find a way to get the voices out of your head. We can make this right.” — Jaina Proudmoore As his mind completely drifted out of its old self he began to dress himself in a suit of armor that he fashioned for himself. The armor was extremely dark, and as he became more and more seen with this new darker armor the people amongst him became very conserned about him. He disregarded these worries and used this Lord powers to create himself a powerbase at the top of the Lorderon leadership. Those with morals, and quams about the way Lorderon was run found they were pushed out of their positions. As of this point the Dragon Orders of Lucerne had not yet been given the commendations to enter Lorderon until two more years had passed so for this reason Arthas was able to create a government run by himself and his cronies in little less then a month. Banishment of Jaina “We spent all this time, and now here we are with the cure and you refuse me. Who the fuck have you become?” — Jaina Proudmoore After months of trying to to fix the issues with Arthas she discovered that the corruption was brought on by Elu-Kael Thuzad and she brought this information to Arthas overjoyed that she had finally found a cure, but meeting with Arthas she realized that he was no longer interested in changing and when she threatened to kill Kael Thuzad he beat her and then realizing what he had done he banished her from Lorderon sending her back to Kul Tiras.

Demons on the Loose

Demons on the Loose Arthas was the source of so much evil, and we had just allowed him to walk around in front of us.

“It was beyond anything I could have imagined. This man was the Arch Lord of a grand state within the Kingdom of Lucerne. There was only one man in the kingdom who held more power then an Arch Lord, and that was the one man I knew would believe me when I told him about this letter.” — Edward Cullen Gemma Cullen would be in a meeting for Order of the Blue Dragon alongside her cousin Edward Cullen when she was told that a letter had arrived at the Tower labeled for her. She would remain for the meeting and not immediately get the letter but following the meeting with the Order of the Blue Dragon she had received a letter from a Magi from the Kirin Tor that she had met long before named Medivh and had wished to known if she had an audience with the King. He asked her that if she did have an audience with the king that she needed to use that right away to give him word of something terrible happening in Lorderon. When Gemma responded questioning why Medivh wanted to speak with the King, and what terrible thing this was that was happening in Lorderon he would respond with the truth. He told Gemma in the letter that Arthas had lost his mind, and was forming a chaos cult of which was growing more powerful each day within the walls of Lorderon, and that unless he was stopped he was going to destroy the entire state. The Rise of Lucerne I saw the destruction of the world, and knew I had to stop it. There was nothing left to do but become bigger then everyone else. The Empire was never going to be the beacon the world needed it to be. Westros was on fire. The Bretonians had reached for the stars and been burned. And the old shadow of Numeron was fading far too quickly. It was left to us in Lucerne to change the fate of all those who wished to reject darkness. We were the last hope for a world who had long since given up on believing. Lady Gemma Cullen, I am sorry about the rushed nature of my last letter, but the news was not good, and you and your cousin were the only people I knew well enough in Lucerne that were close enough to the king to effect any kind of real change. I am sorry for the history lesson, but you must understood all of this if you are to believe me. Arthas Menathil was born, and from that moment forward he was destined to be the king of Lorderon. The people cheered his every move for he was noble, and just in all things that he did. Then like the wind flowing through everything disapeared in him. Where once there was nobility there was now only darkness. His parents would send for a paladin in the north to train him, and we all thought the paladin had been succesful. He wasn`t the same true knight as he was before, but he wasn`t the same violent monster he was before either. I returned to my studies believing all was well, but I have learned it was all a lie.  You must understand that men have lost their lives to bring me this information, and now he is chasing me as well. I am not some traitor to the cause of the Menathil`s. I do not wish for gold, or power. I have learned that since he handed over Lorderon to Lucerne he has formed a chaos cult, and is planning to destroy the state in a bloodbath. I do not yet know his end game, but whatever it may be you need to understand only one main thing. It will not be positive. My former prince wants the world to burn in the same manner as he burns. He hates all things now and he wants it all to disapear. I cannot stop him alone, and as I said you and your cousin are the only ones I know close to the king. Use what influence you have and speak to the king. If failing this go to your cousin. I warned him years ago of this, and I only hope he is the same person he was when we last spoke. Take a leap with me Gemma Cullen and we can save the world together. Medivh, Counciller of the Six for the honorable Kirin Tor Gemma was moved by the letter but she knew that she had no business speaking to the King of Lucerne even if she had been rather friendly with him during their youth. She knew that this couldn't be left unsaid so she responded to Medivh that she couldn't help him but if he talked to Edward Cullen her cousin then he would be able to tell the King himself. She would go to find Edward, and when she did she showed him the letters, and when he saw who they were from he too believed their content. Knowing they were in a very tricky situation Edward would leave immediately with Gemma for the capital where he would attempt with all that remained of his clout with William to do something about this situation. “Taylor Swift was the perfect cover for me and what I had to do. Noone believed that she would be someone that would become central in the discovery of what Arthas was. Had I been quicker. Had I listed the first time I was told and not worried about the consequences, it is impossible to imagine how many that are dead might live.” — Edward Cullen Edward Cullen following the meeting with Medivh would go to Lucerne to meet with William but when he arrived he discovered that William had traveled up the mountain to meet with the dragons. Most believed they had seen him for the last time based on the tears flowing from both Alice and Emma, and so he made the decision that he couldn't sit idle while his friend risked everything to save the people of Lucerne. He would travel alongside his wife Tanya to Hilary's home and while there they came up with the plan of going to Lorderon under the pretend mission of growth of Dragonoph while in fact investigate the supposed chaos worship of Arthas Menathil. During this time his relationship with Tanya is collapsing, and she shows him little to no affection of which he responds to Gemma he isn't surprised about. Meeting as well with Alice Lovie, and Emma Bell they would make the suggestion that Taylor Swift be the one they use as the center of plan, as she was known far and wide for her Dragonoph beliefs and would be more accepted then the very influential Edward Cullen. Alice would later in a discussion with William admit that she was trying to distance Taylor from the romantic drama she was beginning to have with Emile Hirsh in Brill, but she didn't want them to know that was a major reason for her being sent. Also realizing they needed more Dragonoph involvement they went to Erica Steinmare of whom Edward knew of from school, and they got her to lead a contingent from House Steinmare to Brill where they would then move to the Port of Stormwind on their final stop before they went to Lorderon. Erica Steinmare agreed to go, but her brother forced himself into going as her brother hated Edward as he was a close friend of Jaspers and he also took his wife with him of whom had always wanted to see Lorderon and the massive Rhine. Alongside this would also be Emma Bell who would travel with Edward to give their Dragonoph mission further credence as she was a member of the royal family as the cousin of William Lovie III. and joining Emma would be a force of some thirty House Bell guards, and her husband Fredrik Highmore. “We had to make it look convinsing. If we went there and it looked like we were there for the real reason we were there then who knew what these cultists would do. I wanted to save lives, I didn't want to be the direct cause of the deaths of thousands.” — Edward Cullen Taylor Swift would make her first appearance in Westros when Edward Cullen, and the group would arrive in Brill and when they did they would immediately travel to the Brill Keep where they met with Timone Swift, and John Swift and they would explain to the two that they needed Taylor for an important mission and this would be agreed to and then they were told that Taylor was at the Temple of Brill praying. It would be while praying in the High Temple of Brill when she would be approached from behind and was shocked to find those who had joined her in prayer were none other then Emma Bell a member of the royal family, as well as Dylan Steinmare and Edward Cullen two man who she had never met before but she knew to be extremely promient members of the kingdom. Continuing to pray now joined by this group her mind would be overcome by questions of what could have brought such a group to her temple, and after fifteen minutes of prayer she finishes and at her ending she and the group finally speak. Emma tells Taylor that she is being tasked with leading a Dragonoph contingent to Lorderon where they will be attempting to make further inroads into converting the new state to the Dragonoph, and when she questions why her they are reluctant to give her a straight answer instead Emma hands her a letter directed to her signed by Alice Lovie who is the acting regent of the Kingdom of Lucerne while William is away. It would be as this was happening that Anna Kendrick would be watching through the window of the temple as Taylor speaks to the group, and she is disgusted that Taylor is being given such an opportunity while she is once again passed over for Taylor. As she continues to watch she is discovered by Freddie Highmore of whom she talks with for some time, and eventually is able to convince Freddie to put in a word for her to travel with them to Lordeorn. Following this discussion Anna would return to the Freddie Highmore does put in a word for Anna but this overruled by Emma who was aware of the situation between Taylor and Anna and did not want the trouble of those two being together. Following this conversation with Freddie she returns to the Kendrick estates where she convinces her brother Tyson Kendrick to travel with her to Lorderon where she uses his desire to regain his honor following his failure at the Nortburg tournament during the events of the Journey, and with this hope he jumps at the opportunity. Following this she returns to the keep and finds Freddie Highmore of whom apologizes to her telling her that she cannot come as Emma had indicated the group was full but clearly there was more to it and Anna takes this as Taylor interfering and thus decides to go around Emma Bell to Dylan Steinmare of whom she had known during her time at the academy. Finding Dylan spending time with his wife she feels sadness at how happy they look and longs to see Orival again which shocks her that she doesn't think of Josh Hirsh for even a second when she sees there happiness. Speaking to Dylan she is able to trick him into taking her with them offering her families forces in assistance against Edward if the chance arises, and he agrees to not tell Emma about this as the two conspire that they will keep it a secret until it is too late for her to go back, and Anna promises to Dylan that she will support Dylan if the opportunity to kill Edward Cullen arises. Having manipulated her way into going she goes back to her families estate with no plans to tell Josh Hirsh of her departure but when she returns home she is told by her sister Melinda Kendrick that Emile Hirsh has been banned from going due to what everyone knows to be the affair happening between him and Emile, and thus attempting to get back at Taylor and cause problems she travels to the Hirsh estates. Arriving at her home she meets with her husband who she realizes she hasn't seen in almost three months and tells him that he will need to accompany her and lies to him that this was a command from Emma Bell, and wanting to be loyal he adheres to what he thinks is a royal command. Wanting to sow further chaos she also tricks them into believing that Josh is also to come despite him also not being one of those who was too come. Thus having created what she believes is a great embarrassment for Taylor she returns to the House Kendrick estates and prepares her things for the journey to come. Following this they would travel to Lole where they would take a boat all the way east to the Port of Stormwind in order to make the final part of their trip to Lordeorn. When they did arrive in Lole they discovered Tanya Cullen awaiting them in the city, and she refused to be left behind, and while this should have been a happy moment for the married couple instead they just argued along the way from Lole to the Port of Stormwind as there marriage had clearly fallen apart. While in the Port of Stormwind Edward would be joined by Candice Anthor of whom would say that she had been planning a trip to Lorderon in order to arrange a series of trade deals, and this would be the perfect opportunity. Convinced by Hilary, and Gemma that the more people they brought with them with civilian purposes the more real this whole thing looked he would agree to have her come, and Candice brought with her a large contingent of troops on six ships from the Port of Stormwind. On the Path of a Demon “Reaching the top of the tower wasn't was I expected. I thought I would meet some chaos worshipper and we would find the truth I wanted about Arthas. Instead I only found my own weakeness. Instead I was forced to deal with the failings in my self.” — Edward Cullen Edward, Taylor, Hilary, Tanya and a small entourage of troops from House Swift, House Steinmare, House Kendrick, House Hirshe, and House Cullen would join the six strong fleet of Candice Anthor and her large force as they traveled to Lorderon and after making the trip from the Port of Stormwind, and Edward would set Tanya to the task of making Taylor believe that she was actually there for the purpose they told her she was. Tanya was by this point nearly constantly fighting with Edward, and Edward knew that barking orders at her was only going to make it worse, but a part of him knew the marriage was over and really just wanted to save lives. While Taylor and Tanya visited several Dragon Temples that were under construction in Lorderon, it was Edward and Hilary that visited the Kirin Tor. When they arrived they were met by Medivh and several of his loyalists and they went about the conversation of how to prove Arthas's madness. Medivh told Edward that in his investigation he had discovered the existence of a group calling themselves the Sons of Lorderon of whom were being portrayed to the public as a revolutionary group wanting independence for Lorderon, but under the surface he discovered that in fact they were a chaos cult founded by Arthas. Edward needed more proof and so Medivh took him and Hilary to a small Kirin Tor Magi tower south of Lorderon where he kept one of the cultists captive. “It wasn't until I saw the devotion that the Steinmare's had for the Dragon that I knew I had to tell them the truth. Dylan was irate. Erica was just as angry. Laera though was confused as to why they been lied too. I didn't blame them for any of those feelings though.” — Taylor Swift Taylor, Tanya, Anna, Josh, Emile and the Steinmare's would travel throughout the capital visiting the different Dragon Temples on their first day, and during this time Taylor and Emile would sleep together nearly the first moment they had alone, and Anna was nearby and she confronted them on it, and neither would even apologize and she would leave shortly after with Josh in tow. With those two gone they were met by the Steinmare's of whom Taylor watched look with amazement at the newly constructed Temple, and in that moment being held by Emile she knew she had to tell them the truth, and she would reveal to them the true purpose of the trip to Lorderon. Dylan would leave to go find Candice Anthor in order to warn her, and the rest of them would decide they would make the best of it, and expand the Dragonoph as much as possible. Taylor Swift would reveal to Erica Steinmare that she wasn't going to continue with the marriage to Josh Hirsh and planned to marry Emile while the two were here in Lorderon, and Erica gave the two space and left to go and find her brother in the port. Anna would get into an argument with Josh and went off her own finding herself in the Lorderon market where followed by Emma Bell she and Emma who had for so long fought to keep Anna out of this whole trip found Anna crying and finally saw the real person beneath the rumors. The two would discuss openly the situation and for the first time Emma heard about the lies that Anna believed in regards to Taylor and revealed the truth to Anna of whom would be horrified to know what the truth was and how horrible she had been to Taylor over what now amounted to nothing more then her mothers manipulations. Emma would tell Anna that she was heading north to Westbridge and knew that Orival Crane was there if Anna wanted to go with her, but Anna would politely refuse saying now that she knew the truth she had to make things right with Taylor and once she had done that she would end things with Josh and go north to find Orival. “If you had told me the truth back then, I would have done so many things differently once I was here. I felt like I was being watched this entire time, but I ignored that because you told me everything was on the up. You lied to me Edward Cullen, and I won't forget that. Don't count on my support again.” — Candice Anthor to Edward Cullen While the main group was looking into the cultists or working to expand the Dragonoph influence in the Lorderon capital Candice Anthor was working at her trade agreement in the port itself. When she begin making her deals and talks with the leading houses in the port she begin to feel that she was being followed, and watched wherever she went, and this led to her going to find Edward of whom she found while he was on the way to the Kirin Tor tower south of the Magi fortress, and he was dismissive wanting to go quickly, and thus he lied to Candice and told her nothing was going on. This made her feel like she was being ridiculous in thinking she was being watched, and thus she let her guard down as the cultists - who were actually watching her heavily as she had brought a large military force into the port - spied on her, and prepared for an assassination attempt on her. During this time though her cousin Hedrin Tolhmave II. would become concerned after he saw several men watching Candice and he followed them, and watched them enter a tavern of which he followed them into, and when he did they entered a back room which after following them led him into a large tunnel system where he would have to kill both of the men after they discovered him following them. Leaving the tavern as quickly as possible he met Dylan Steinmare on the street and together they raced to find Candice Anthor and arrived just as cultists attempted to assassinate her. “There has been an attack in the port milady We have heard word that cultists have attacked Lady Anthor,a nd even now fighting is still going on. What is your command Milady?” — Main Hunder to Calia Menathil The cultists had surrounded the port with nearly thirty men, and once Candice arrived they killed several sentries watching for violence, and then with the way clear they would move forward. As the cultists went to attack Dylan Steinmare, and Hedrin Tolhmave would arrive and scream to the guards that cultists were about and an attack was going to happen, and realizing they had been discovered the cultists would let off a horn and charge forward into the maelstrom. The fighting was intense but the guards now aware were able to repulse the horribly outnumbered cultists of whom had been relying on the shock of their arrival to succeed and Dylan captured one of the cultists but as they were taking him away the man was shot with an arrow from another cultist on a rooftop of whom then was able to escape. Finding Information Gemma, and Edward Cullen alongside Hilary Swift would have no idea what kindof nightmare they were walking into when they entered the tower of the Magi Medivh. “That was the first time I saw evil in its purest form. Medivh was right. It was only after speaking to that one that I understood how limited I had been.” — Edward Cullen Arriving at the tower it was Medivh, Edward, Hilary, Gemma, Markus Flowers, and several of Medivh's men and Medivh would lead them as they moved to the top and discovered a single man chained to the floor and roof. Medivh explained to him that this man was evil, and that no matter what he believed after talking to the man he needed to understand that fact alone. He told Edward that everything in life was a choice though and he had the decision to make if he was going to be the man that was tricked by evil, or if he would be able to see evil in all of its forms and be able to defeat it. The Rise of Lucerne I saw the destruction of the world, and knew I had to stop it. There was nothing left to do but become bigger then everyone else. The Empire was never going to be the beacon the world needed it to be. Westros was on fire. The Bretonians had reached for the stars and been burned. And the old shadow of Numeron was fading far too quickly. It was left to us in Lucerne to change the fate of all those who wished to reject darkness. We were the last hope for a world who had long since given up on believing. I walked into the room and was shocked to find a man clearly brutalized chained to what was seemingly every piece of the room. "Why has he been chained so many times?" "Do not be taken in by what you see on the surface. This man is beyond contempt. He has done things, and planned things that no rational human would ever do." Medivh walked to the man and raised his head so that we could see his face. His eyes remained closed but I saw nothing in his face that screamed that he was a monster. "His mind is completely the domain of a demon now. Nothing remains of what was once someone's child." I moved closer to the man and as I did he must have realized my presence and opened his eyes. His eyes were sad, and despite the reservations I had due to what Medivh had said I found myself wanting to help this man. "How could you know that?" Medivh walked away from the man and stood against the wall for a moment before speaking again. "Edward this is the moment you are going to learn about the demon within all of us. Your demon is slight but still there. You don't know the demon yet and that is something that you need to understand if your going to help your people through this. Talk to the man. Prove me wrong if you can." ``How are you so sure that you are right. Surely this could all be some kind of misunderstanding.`` I looked to Gemma and Hilary and when I did they had the same look of shock and confusion on their faces that I did.  ``Edward there is going to come a moment when you are going to have to truly understand evil. You believe you have seen evil because you knew your friends brother. Sean Lovie was just one form of evil. Evil takes many shapes, and forms and it is very important that you understand that not everything evil will appear it at first.`` He didn`t say another word just walked away and left me to stand there with this injured man who didn`t look like he could harm a fly. I stopped for a moment unsure of how to move forward, but when I looked around for Hilary I saw her waiting. Her eyes showed that she believed in me, and I knew I couldn't fail that kind of trust. Moving closer to the man I kneeled on the floor and spoke. "What is your name?" He coughed a bit before speaking "Tilder Meanist of House Meanist." He spoke with an aura of nobility despite the surroundings he was in or the condition, and that made me know very quickly that he was either a well of noble or one used to pretending he was. "What have you done to make my friend believe you a demon?" He coughed again this time for a longer period of time before being able to speak. "I woke up and found myself in this tower with that monster doing...doing unimaginable things to my friends. He won't let me explain but I know you'll hear me...you'll believe me won't you?" The man sounded utterly frantic, and the way he spoke of his friends made me wonder how much of all of this that Medivh had left out. "You need to tell me before I can say anything." "This man believes me some sort of demon, but I just want the freedom of my people. Your a Lucernian I can tell. Your people were not meant to come here. This land..."He stopped and coughed again before speaking. "This land isn't yours. Listen to me none of that is important right now. That monster has killed all of my men, and left me alone while my family waits for me at home." I looked at Medivh for a moment wanting to understand what was happening here. "What proof do you have Tilder that you are not a cultist?"  He looked hopefully at me, and I felt a slight tinge of arrogance come from him "The same proof I told the monster about. Talk to my wife. She will show you that I am who I say that I am." "And if I speak to her and find a different outcome?" I could see Medivh in the corner shaking his head, and for a moment I looked at this young man before me and wondered if he truly was a demon. If he wasn't a demon then Medivh was a liar and that meant all of this could be some sort of trap. "Then I am lost and you should kill me." From the look on Medivh's face he told me silently that he knew where his wife was, and would take me to her. "Your putting a lot of faith in how one conversation will go arnt you." "I have faith in what I see your eyes. You are a good soul, and I know you will try and do what is right." "I will speak to your wife, and when that is done we will all know the truth." "The truth will be known by all." Edward would be told by Medivh where Tilder's wife lived and the group would leave the tower and go to find the women that Edward silently had no idea what would happen with. On one hand if she was truthful then he would know Medivh a liar. If she was a liar then he was a fool who had been tricked by a demon. On the way to the wife he spoke with Hilary who told him that she felt a horrible taint coming from Tilder Meanist. She wondered how he did not feel it, and he wondered why he was unable to sense what clearly so many around him were feeling. Medivh told him that his demon wasn't revealed yet, and when Edward finally understood he would know exactly why he couldn't see what was just beneath the surface. “His wife was nothing more then a ruse meant to kill me. He knew his life was over and yet he wanted me to see death, and I suppose somewhere in his chaos mind he wanted me to see the death that filled that home.” — Edward Cullen Arriving at the house Medivh forced Edward to wait until thirty men from the Menathil's arirved, and then he allowed Edward to enter the home. Entering the home he found the skinned bodies of untold number of people all over the walls, and the decaying bodies of a young women, and two children sitting a table in the middle of the home with a giant hole in the ground. Medivh said he would explain everything after the ambush, and moments after this happened cultists came through the roof and a fight broke out which ended with the death of the cultists as the reinforcements were too much for the weakly armed, and trained cultists. Medivh would then explain as they carried away the bodies to be buried that Tilder was once a Magi of the Kirin Tor but had been removed due to the reading of banned Magi's and this had eventually led him to becoming possessed by a demon which had then proceeded to murder his wife and children and become a dangerous serial killer of whom killed dozens in Lorderon before the Kirin Tor finally caught up with him and took him under their custody. Arthas Leaves See Also : Capture of Jaina Menathil “I had hoped that you would want to come willingly my love.” — Hur-Arthas Menathil IV. Arthas by this point was being told by his leadership core that the Kirin Tor had captured Tilder Meanist and with his capture any hope of keeping the Lucernian contingent from discovering the truth about The Scourge gone he begin plans to leave Lorderon for the north, and his true goal of getting Frostmourne. Gathering his commanders to him he would decide on leaving behind Elu-Kael Thuzad and it would be the objective of Kael to delay the forces of Lorderon and cause as much chaos as he possibly could, but then to make his way north to link up with Arthas who would wait for Kael at Fornost. Over the days that followed this decision they gathered to him his entire command structure outside of those who were staying and travelled north out of the city during the night keeping it as secret as possible, but unfortunatly despite this attempt there departure was discovered by the Dragonoph loyalist Per-Ruenya Menathil who would without delay bring this information to Sur-Talia Menathil. Arthas had left being information that he had travelled north in order to assist Marcel Lovie and thus when Talia went to the throne room she found this note detailing where he was saying he was going, but Talia had seen the change in her brother and didn't believe it instead sending Karl Donovan to bring information to the Lucernian contingent of what had happened. Karl Donovan would travel to their ships where he found the Hirshe brothers there and told them that Arthas had left the city and they both realized what this meant and thus they moved without haste to tell Edward about this. As this was happening Arthas as he moved out of Lorderon had a large fleet of dozens of ships transporting his men and in this movement they would travel to Kul Tiras where Arthas had unfinished business with his wife Jaina. Arriving with his fleet just south of Boralus they had slipped by the naval defenses as they were inside what was seen as safe waters when they left Lorderon and thus landed on the coast south of Boralus without alerting anyone to their presence. Landing his troops there he channeled a spell with his Magi leadership which gave him the location of Jaina who he discovered was located at the Tower of Toralus located west of Boralus, and with this knowledge he would march on the Tower of Toralus. The Tower of Toralus was lightly defended as it was a sort of estate for House Proudmoore and thus when Arthas's several thousand strong army arrived it was Jaina who sensed that it was Arthas and ordered her men to flee the tower before they were killed, and then she waited for Arthas to come to her. Arthas came to her alone inside the tower and seeing him clad in the evil armor he had been crafting for some time she prepared herself to die and refused to speak to the man in front of her as she knew in her heart that this was not her Arthas, but he did not strike her down instead he took her staff from her and placed Magi restraints on her restricting her magi abilities and then summoned troops who took her hostage. With Jaina in his hands he would return to the ships where by this point the troops of Jaina had not yet warned the main Boralus forces of what had happened and thus when Arthas's fleet passed Boralus they were not resisted by the large Kul Tiras navy thus allowing Arthas to escape with Jaina. Taylor's Discovery “Your grace my time there was filled with so many things, and I want you to know that the Dragon shall be heard throughout all the land soon. The cultists though were dangerous beyond anything I had ever heard of. They had infested the largest Temple in the entire capital and turned it into a den of demons and evil men.” — Taylor Swift Following the discovery by Edward that the cultists controlled the massive Great Temple of Lorderon he and his group would travel with Medivh back to the capital where they planned to attack the temple. As this was happening Taylor Swift and the Steinmare's would be told by a Dragon Priest that several Dragonoph worshipers had come to him to admit that they had been members of a cult in Lorderon and that the Great Temple of Lorderon was their headquarters of sorts. Disgusted that a Temple would be used for this purpose and despite the attempts by Dylan and Erica to stop her she would travel to the Great Temple and alongside Laera Steinmare would enter the Temple and using key words learned from the traitor cultists were able to enter the Temple. Entering the Temple they went through a recruitment process of sorts, but things begin to go bad after the cultist leading them around attempted to rape Laera and she stabbed him through the eye killing him and forcing them to hide his body while they escaped the Temple. Finding there way out wasn't easy though, and outside Dylan would meet with Edward telling him what had happened, and learning from Edward how serious the situation was they believed they had the proof they needed but Emile, and Josh Hirshe arrived to tell them that Arthas had left the city with a force in order to supposedly help Arnor, and Marcel Lovie. Edward told Emile, and Josh to go to the keep and force them to recall Arthas, and at the same time attempted to send word to Marcel Lovie of what was happening, but unknown to him the cultists were watching them, and the letters, and ravens were all intercepted meaning Marcel was not warned. “We were but moments from showing him as the monster he was, and yet he slipped between our fingers. I would have killed him myself if I had thought it was possible to get through that kind of layer of guards.” — Dylan Steinmare Taylor Swift, and Laera Steinmare at this point would finally make their way out of the temple, but as Laera exited the door Taylor would be knocked on the head and the gate shut causing a siege of sorts as they attempted to break there way into the Temple. Forcing their way into the temple using the troops they had brought, they would fight against dozens of cultists of which forced the involvement of more troops and a battle broke out, but despite victory after the dust had settled they also found that there was no sign of Taylor, because she had been taken to the real home of the cultists of which was a large tunnel system beneath the temple itself. By this point the cultists were aware they had been discovered, and they would begin plans to launch the overall assault on Lorderon, and those traitor cultists would in these last moments release this information to the Menathil loyalists, or the Lucernians, or also in many cases the Magi of Kirin Tor. Captured “Edward I am being told that you kept all of this a secret from the people you brought with you, and I guess I wonder now in the privacy of this group...why did you not warn them of the dangers? Do you honestly think Taylor would have gone into that Temple had she of known what awaited her.” — William Lovie III. Captured by the cultists Taylor is forced to endure captivity for hours, as the cultists by this point are simply stalling within the tunnel system, and Taylor witnesses the leadership of the cultists flee the grounds to safety, while the few that remain behind in order to show resistance are weak old men, and ones they question the devotion of. During this torture she is somewhat protected by a young cultist of whom stops an older man from raping her, and she is saddened as he tells her of his life, but despite her attempts to get him to surrender he sees no life past this, and leaves her as Edward's force finally breaks into the tunnels. The cultists that are left are weak and are easily defeated leaving Edward in control of the temple, but as soon as he releases Taylor's mouth coverings she reveals to him that nearly all the cultists already fled, and those left were expendable to them. With the cultists destroyed Taylor reveals that the cultists are a part of a chaos cult led by Arthas Menathil of whom has not taken any true forces north to assist Marcel but is in fact taking monsters and demons of whom are planning great destruction. As they attempt to make their way out of the temple they find the route blocked by design, and they are unable to escape by means of the entrance, and instead must make their way through ancient tunnels out of the city. After days of travelling through the tunnels they find themselves in the fields far to the south of Lorderon and a note is left on the edge of the entrance on the body of a soldier with the sigil of House Scarlet on him. “Congratulations on discovering the great secret of Lorderon. You are to be commended for seeing what many before you failed to see, but I must be the one to tell you that is the only thing you did right. You have failed to stop me, and now that failure shall play out in the destruction of Arnor. Perhaps if you had moved quicker. Perhaps if you had been smarter your people in Arnor wouldn't be dead.” — King Arthas Menathil Edward became infuriated by this and the realization that it was already well to late to save Marcel, or to do any of the good things that he knew in his mind he had to do in order to regain what he had lost. The army of Arthas had left nearly a week ago, and he knows that a raven will never reach Arnor in time to do any good, and he breaks down crying for his continued failure. Eventually calming down the group gathers themselves and make their way to a nearby village where they receive horses and make their way back to Lorderon to warn Arnor of the coming chaotic army. Back in the city Laera, Erica, and Dylan Steinmare retreat to the Menathil Palace, and rally the Lucernians to their cause as well as sending out word of the what everyone now knows will be a very large attack on Lorderon by a unknown amount of cultists. Josh Hirshe, and Anna Kendrick had become stranded at the port and were forced to hide themselves with the garrison there. Taylor Swift and Emile Hirshe would retreat with the main force and retreated into the Menathil Palace, and it was here where they would remain as the palace came under siege by the forces of the cultists now bent on destroying the city. Candice Anthor in the port itself sends word to Kul Tiras in order to have them send aid, and it is this quick thinking that would eventually save the city, as noone in Lorderon had been willing to ask Kul Tiras for help due to the bad blood between Lorderon, and Kul Tiras as of late. It was at this point of the city coming under siege and the port preparing for the arrival of reinforcements that Anna Kendrick and Josh Hirshe of whom had come to hide within the keep in the docks would come to have an honest conversation with Anna admitting that she loved Orival Crane and Josh was just a distraction, and Josh admitted that he actually hated Anna and only was with her to cause embaressment to his brother. Josh would as their conversationd devolved into an argument demand that she sleep with him but she resisted not wanting this but despite her resistence he forced himself on her but just as he is about to rpae her she grabs his knife and slashes his face before also stabbing him in the shoulder and fleeing from the keep to the docks themselves. New Leadership “The Cult was something that had started to enter the frame of reality some time before we learned of Arthas's true face. The cult had abducted people, and burned buildings but for all intensive purposes it was little worse then a roaving band of criminals, and thus we didn't say much.” — Imlad Menathil Following the return of Edward Cullen to the city after his destruction of one cell of the cult that Arthas had formed it became clear to the leadership that Arthas had formed it in order to destroy Lorderon, and thus they went about dealing with the cult for the first time. After the conversation between William and Edward the decision is made to make Talia Menathil the new Lord of Lorderon, and she is given this immediatly after thus removing the taint of Arthas somewhat from Lorderon. This transfer of power doesn't go completely according to plan as during the ceremony for her gaining the title of Matriarch of the family, and the Arch Lord of Lucerne position the site is attacked by a force of cultists and many demons that a Magi with the cultists summons into the area. Edward, Gemma, and Hilary lead Talia out of the building and fight there way through waves of cultists, and are nearly trapped until a counter assault by Imlad Menathil breaks the attacking cultists and allows them to return her to the keep of Lorderon with her new power. Conversation Incoming Fairmarket. The Riverlands. Lorderon, and Kul Tiras. Westbridge. All had fallen to our might. All had sworn the sword to the Valley of Lucerne. All that power, and yet I looked north and saw a great demon the likes of which I could not hope to resist. The Empire was the reason for growth. The Empire was the reason for everything we did. The Empire was the land that should have done great things for the world, but instead of this they did nothing. They allowed chaos to breed amongst them, and in that weakeness and failing they threatened to ruin the entire continent. "William there can be no doubt that Arthas has turned against us." He looked down, and I felt terrible, as both of us knew what this meant for Marcel. What little chance he had of defending Arnor was based on the army that Arthas said he was capable of bringing north, and if that army wasn't going to arrive then it all might be for nothing. "This is terrifying news Edward as we know he has already disapeared from out eyes, and for all we know could already be inside Arnor. If he is there we know that Marcel is there, and I fear for what will happen." It was always unerving to hear William speak with anything other then confidence. His face moved from the vision and I knew he must be speaking to someone else. It was unfortunate that the only Magi stone that I was able to find was a one on one stone. This sort of conversation would have been much easier with a room stone. "William we need to immediatly send word to your cousin that Arthas is under no cercumstances to be trusted." "I will send word right now Edward." William left the vision, and I looked to my right to see that Imlad had entered the room, and he looked with wide eyes as he saw the means by which we were communicating. "Its good to see you prince Imlad." He was wearing his eagle armor, and he looked everything that he should of, but his eyes told me a story about the fear he was feeling. "You still have the presence of mind for titles in a time like this Edward?" "When I was young my father told me that manners were important. I can't forget that lesson even while we are potentially surrounded by enemies and have a looming disaster in the north." "The things our father's tell us when we are young." I would have laughed normally but the silence that followed made me shiver. It was minute after minute of this as we awaited the return of William, and I wanted him to come back to give me repreieve from the fear that filled the room. "Do you recall anything about this cult before we learned of Arthas?" I had only learned of them a few months ago, and from the way Medivh spoke of them they must have been something that was talked of. "The Cult was something that had started to enter the frame of reality some time before we learned of Arthas's true face. The cult had abducted people, and burned buildings but for all intensive purposes it was little worse then a roaving band of criminals, and thus we didn't say much." As he finished William reentered the vision. "I have made the neccesary message sent, but I fear that the Order of the Blue Dragon representative that was with Marcel has apparently been killed, and we don't know what is happening at this time." "We don't know anything bad has happened yet. We just need to keep our ears out Will." “Alone Talia was still too young and naive to be the Lady of a land that large, but lucky for us she wasn't alone. Lucky for us Calia, and Imlad were loyal advisors and didn't have their own agendas other then helping their family.” — Edward Cullen Talia would recall her sister Talia to her side, and alongside Imlad Menathil they formed a sort of Menathil council for the leadership of the land alongside Edward of whom advised them as best he could. Realizing the situation they were in they knew they needed more forces loyal to them in the city, and thus they decided to call the vassals, and ask for assistence from the nearbye Lucerne forces. As they begin to recall Menathil forces from the smaller villages, and towns they begin see that the cult had become aware of the situation and the cult summoned nearly its entire force into the capital and begin besieging sections of the city and ambushing and murdering loyalists to the Menathils. Sending word to the Riverlands, and Kul Tiras, and then the main Lucerne army south of Lorderon in the Scarlets, and the Cleganes they would beg for assistance saying that the streets were becoming a battleground. “The arrival of Kael'Thuzad was a terrifying experience as he raised thousands of dead into his ranks turning a controllable situation suddenly into something far worse.” — Edward Cullen As fighting broke out in the streets Kael'Thuzad would abandon secrecy and led his command structure into the city where he and his other Magi would summon the dead to their side adding thousands into his ranks and causing great destruction. As this happened the citizens of Lorderon begin fleeing by boats in the dock out of the city, and those men that couldn't and the old would retreat into the Menathil Keep in the center of the city. Arming these citizens the defence of the keep would be expanded knowing they were defending to the last man. Edward Cullen, and Imlad Menathil led the defences with Edward using his Magi stone to alert the forces south of the wall of what was happening and making sure they knew they had to do something soon. Kael'Thuzad would raise buildings, and go about damaging the city, while he sent his commander Lord Gnarls eastward towards Kirin Tor where he was to capture the fortress and bring its knowledge back to him so that they could then leave for Arthas northward. Fighting would break out heavily in the port as the Cult would attempt to commandeer boats in their eventual search to escape, and they would be resisted by the navy of Kul Tiras of whom had sent many ships to blockade the city, and provide support. “The Liche Ras Frostwhisper would come to the docks and I remember his look as he raised his hand and summoned creatures of darkness to him. He controlled them from the docks and I knew he alone had to be stopped lest he destroyed our entire fleet.” — Derek Proudmoore Battle at the Docks Ras Frostwhisper would come to the dock and summoning hundreds of giant sea creatures that had long laid dead at the bottom of the sea outside Lorderon, and used these creatures to assault the fleet of Kul Tiras and push them back. The fleet was forced to pull back or risk destruction as these ancient creatures pulled entire ships under the water when they got close enough, and they were only able to destroy a dozen and lost nearly twice that number of ships in return. Battle of Kirin Tor Main Article : Battle of Dalaran “This place is a place of learning and peace, and you desecrate it with your very presence. Your beliefs are failed, and today you shall learn how much failure your moral decadence has caused for you and all those that stand behind you Lord Gnarl.” — Medivh Led by a mysterious Magi named Lord Gnarls the cultists would send a force to Kirin Tor as well in order to sack the Magi castle, and attempt to steal its stored knowledge for Arthas, despite the near impossibility of this task and then getting north. During the initial movement towards Kirin Tor turncoats within the fortress of Kirin Tor would murder several high ranking members of the Magi organization including the high leader in Antonidas leaving the council shattered and left with three of its members with Jaina also believed to be in the capital and not inside Kirin Tor. With their leader dead, and the council reduced Medivh would stage a sort of coup using his own forces and took control of the Council of Kirin Tor and would imprison the remaining members of Kael'Thuzad's family including his son who attempted to murder him when he took him prisoner. Medivh would lead the forces loyal to Lucerne in defense of the Kirin Tor and was able to use the superior defenses of Kirin Tor to massacre the initial wave of Cultists supported by demons that assaulted the fortress. As the battle reached the second wave though numerous Magi would turn to the side of Chaos, and the fighting got dire as the chaos cultists used these turncoats to enter Kirin Tor and were able to sack parts of the library. “The Kirin Tor could not fall or else all of Lorderon could be destroyed through the knowledge they gained in that vault. I had to move quickly and take the situation into our control again or I watched as Lorderon fell.” — Saiden Scarlet As Kirin Tor became a battleground Saiden Scarlet would send Illen Purne one of his vassals alongside Kren Scarlet to relieve the Kirin Tor with a force of Kul Tiras, and native Lorderon troops. Arriving at the scene they found the cultist army flowing into Kirin Tor, and they would attack them from behind where the cultists were killed in huge numbers but managed to keep the Lucernians away for a time. Inside Lord Gnarls made his way through Vault after Vault inside Kirin Tor attempting to make his way to the deepest and most powerful infortmation, and as he did this Medivh would lead a skilled force of Magi and elementals behind him defeating Lord Gnarls luitenents one after another until both were nearing eachother. By this point Trimier would complete the summoning spell, and this allowed several dozen Blue Dragon Magi and their support troops to enter Kirin Tor, and they asisted in stemming the flow of cultists while the main army was defeated outside by Kren Scarlet, and Illen Purne. Battle of Lorderon Main Article : Battle of Lorderon “Reinforcements had come in their tens of thousands to the area, and the cultists were horribly outnumbered in terms of military power. Their defeat at Kirin Tor had left their leadership scrambling to find a new weapon now that Kirin Tor was held against them, and before they could me and Emmett would tilt the scales.” — Leven Martell Following the defeat of the Cultists at Kirin Tor two shadow council members would arrive in the form of Emmett McCarty, and Leven Martell of whom brought with them thirty men each from their houses and the most elite men they both had. The cultists had barred the main gates into the city and were defending them with great strength, but many smaller gates were less defended and it was through these gates that Leven, and Emmett would infiltrate through avoiding the gaurds through the assistence of several Violet Dragons that were still in the area. Now inside the city Leven, Emmett and their sixty men would fight their way to the keep where they found the Lucernian loyalists holding out within, and thousands of citizens hiding inside the walls for protection. Kael'Thuzad would marshal nearly his entire remaining force and pulled many if not all forces from the walls and brought them to the keep where he launched an all out assault. Thousands of demons and cultists charged the high walls of the keep, and the defenders led by Emmett, Leven, and Imlad would hold out against the inital assaults and cause horrendous casualties to the unprepared cultists attacking the walls. “They broke through the eastern gatehouse, and I charged into the breach with all the reserve I had at my disposal. They were too many in number, and if we let them loose within the castle they would quickly massacre the people of Lorderon and the defenders in short order.” — Leven Martell As the attack of the Cultists failed all over it was Kael'Thuzad that went to the eastern gatehouse himself and using Magi alongside his commanders would shattter the entire gatehouse destroying it and leaving a massive gaping hole in the defences. Losing a significant amount of defenders Leven pulled all the reserves from the keep, and alongside her men and Emmett's men she and Emmett would charge into the breach and attempt to hold off the attacking cultists. The defenders were hardpressed to hold the massive numbers off but the untrained barely equipped cultists were cut down in droves, and this led to Kael'Thuzad ordering in several of his commanders including his second in command in Lord Voren of whom would kill many in front of him but was confronted by Leven Martell. Leven and Voren would fight one on one as the defenders slaughtered the cultists forcing many to attempt to retreat but these retreaters were killed by Kael'Thuzad of whom sent in Lord Savryn to deal with the situation. On the western gatehouse Imlad would murder the commander of the attacks there and charged his forces through the gatehouse and massacred hundreds of cultists forcing them to retreat southward, and allowing him to send several scouts to make the Lucernians come quicker. Leven Martell would further her reputation during the battle of Lordeorn “When Kael'Thuzad moved into the fray I could feel it. It was like this massive ball of electricty was moving towards us, and I couldn't let Leven, and Emmett fight that monster alone.” — Edward Cullen The scouts reached the Lucernian forces of whom were assaulting through the weakely defended outer walls, and moving slowly fearing it was a trap. Meeting the scouts Saiden Scarlet would understand it wasn't a trap and commanded all forces towards the keep with all haste, while he sent Mathew Clegane and his forces against the dock to deal with Ras Frostwhisper. Kael'Thuzad getting word that the army was only minutes away knew he had to move quickly to take the keep and then murder the population, so he waded into the battle himself. Fighting his way through his own forces he reached the front just as Leven, and Emmett killed Lord Savryn and pushed back Lord Voren. Smashing Emmett McCarty with a blast of Magi he flew back uncontious leaving Leven to fight against Lord Voren while Kael'Thuzad sent Magi blasts into the defenders of the breach killing dozens. Sencing Kael'Thuzad enter the breach Edward had left the southern gate and mvoed to the east where he reached the fighting and was able to block a spell that would have badly injured Leven. Fighting against Kael'Thuzad he and the Liche would battle for minutes until Lord Voren fell destroyed and Leven charged him as well turning the tide of the fight. Kael'Thuzad attempted to flee but was struck through the back by Leven's sword and destroyed. At the port Mathew Clegane would overwhelm Ras Frostwhisper with the support of Gemma Cullen of whom overpowered the tired Ras Frostwhisper but he retreated using a stone and disapeared alongside several of his commanders. “Arthas's remnents had been crushed, but he was still loose, and where he was now was anyone's guess.” — Leven Martell With the death of Kael'Thuzad and the defeat of Ras Frostwhisper the skeletal elements and demons fizzled out of excistence, while the human elements of the cult were swiftly either killed or surrendered and made to live out the rest of their short lives in prison before they were executed. With Talia Menathil now Lady of Lorderon the population shifted back to the capital but was diminished from the numbers before as some one quarter of the city had turned to the cultists and were basically all dead while another quarter had died during the fighting leaving half the city dead. It was following the clean up that a letter came into the keep adressed to Edward Cullen, but it would be read by Leven Martell and the rest of the commanders inside the keep. Conversation Incoming Fairmarket. The Riverlands. Lorderon, and Kul Tiras. Westbridge. All had fallen to our might. All had sworn the sword to the Valley of Lucerne. All that power, and yet I looked north and saw a great demon the likes of which I could not hope to resist. The Empire was the reason for growth. The Empire was the reason for everything we did. The Empire was the land that should have done great things for the world, but instead of this they did nothing. They allowed chaos to breed amongst them, and in that weakeness and failing they threatened to ruin the entire continent. I opened the letter and was still haunted by the name Arthas that adorned the front of it. I looked around and saw the looks of fear on everyone else over what could possibly be in the letter, and how he had known with such accuracy when we had cleared the city. Lord Edward Cullen, I am both shocked and excited by the prospects of your defeat of my cult. Created with hate, and violence it makes me proud that they have destroyed so much of Lorderon, and left you weakened. My commander Ras Frostwhisper tells me you managed to defeat Kael, and while I say that is a disapointment know that the dragon I have killed yesterday will make your kingdom quickly forget this victory you have achieved. Know that you will find his body in Fornost, and know that I made him hurt before he died. Tell your king that he sent him to die, and this is exactly what I did for him. One last gift for the King of the Valley. In closing I wish for you the best. I hope you die swift, and quick deaths for you have defeated an oponent that should have lived forever. Know this though Lord Cullen, your time will come sooner then you could ever imagine. I have seen the future and you and your darkness council shall know death in your ranks very soon. The Fall of Arnor You told me about lines. I didnt want to cross the line. But here were are.

Austrian Invasion of Arnor Battle of Krost Main Article : Battle of Krost “I could look out in the morning over the wall, and for a moment I couldn't see them. For a few moments they were hidden behind mist, and the trees. In those moments I liked to imagine the situation was different. I liked to think that my brother was still alive, and the world was at peace.” — Liam Hemsworth As the Empire invaded southward into Arnor the fortress of Krost was one of the areas they planned specifically against, and they would bring heavy artillery against the fort, alongside some ten thousand men at arms and two thousand knights would be sent under the command of Deiter Stroh of whom was a seasoned commander of whom was well aware of the skill of Liam and wasn't going to walk into a defeat as many previously had. Liam organized his defenses knowing they had to damage the artillery as best they could in the beginning or else their defenses would be greatly weakened, and for this he would array dozens of skirmishers in the trees before the army of the Empire was marching, and in the gaps large pits were constructed that would collapse when the siege machines passed over them. Deiter Stroh weakened much of this plan when he marched irregular troops first, and was well prepared for ambush from the trees and because of this the Arnorian skirmishers were heavily damaged and did little damage to the Empire army. The pits though were a different matter and they would destory upwards of half the siege machines in the Empire army while heavily delaying them as well as they filled them in so that they could keep moving. “They were just a swarming thing moving against us. Whatever there commander thought he must have known the one strategy they had we had no chance against. There numnbers. They just had too many troops...” — Liam Hemsworth Fall of Fornost Main Article : Battle of Fornost The Arnor Invasion was going completely the way of the Austrians. All across the front the border defences that had been formed to defend against small incursions were wiped out without any real casualties to the Austrians. These losses though could not be so easily replaced by the Arnorians of whom were retreating back across the front. Only at the the defense of Talheim, and Kost had the defenders on the side of Arnor been able to resist the Empire in any real form. “Magheim had been sacked. Krost was completed surrounded alongside Talheim. Fornost stood alone, and if it fell this all came crashing down. There was no future for Arnor once Fornost went down.” — Natalie Portmane Marcel Lovie II. would lead the army of the Kingdom of Lucerne into the Second Arnor War as the vangaurd of the larger force that was being gathered by William Lovie III. Travelling through the lands of the Kingdom of Stor they used the tunnels of the Dwarves of Dun Garek in order to reach the besieged land, and they were joined by several hundred Dwarves of whom remained behind in Frostmore instead of heading to Fornost. Marcel Lovie II. would arrive to find the city completely surrounded by the forces of Austria and in this way he moved into the surrounding forest and awaited darkness. “There were so many soldiers surrounding the city, and for a moment I felt like William Lovie II. who had saved the city on the back of a dragon. ” — Marcel Lovie II. Using the night as an ally he was able to get very close to the Empire army before they knew what was happening, and ambushing them while most of the army was either asleep or facing the wrong direction a brutal melee ensued. Marcel and Fredrick Clegane would cut their way through the army of the Empire with their personal elite gaurd and find the command structure of the army and Marcel defeated Driam taking him prisoner. With the defeat of Driam Troy the rest of the forces begin surrending, and Marcel would quickly send the prisoners southward towards Frostmore while he took Driam Troy into Fornost where his additional forces allowed Fornost to hold against the siegers all around them.  “I had hoped that Driam Troy's capture would bring them to the table, but despite him being a hostage they refused to even respond to diplmocay. It became clear easily enough that the Empire was not interested in Arnor surviving in any form.” — Marcel Lovie II. With the capture of Driam Troy Marcel and the other commanders attempted to use diplomacy to push The Empire back, but discovered none of their attempts were met by even communication. Realizing there would be no end to this fight and it would be fought to the last drop of blood Sif Hemsworth, and Marcel would come to the conclusion that they needed to hold at Frostmore where the defences were greater. Due to this plan Marcel would be influencial in keeping the royal family of House Hemsworth alive after he made them aware of the fact that the Empire forces had made threats of what would happen if they captured the members of House Hemsworth. The siege of Fornost would become even more dire and potentially disasterous when the illusive Priam Troy would arrive with a larger army and a clear thought of defeating Fornost through whatever means neccessary. With the knowldge that the city was going to fall he would lead his forces and some of the defending Arnor forces out of the doomed city and prepare to move to Frostmore where they would make their last stand. Marcel would do his best to console his cousin Natalie but was unable to convinse her to hide, and because of this he was forced to sadly say goodbye to his cousin who was so brave, and took Britney, and Lucie Lovie with him out of the city and southward towards Frostmore. Inside Fornost the defenders led by Sif Hemsworth remained resolute in dying in defence of the city, and they held the walls to the last man as the siegers led by Priam Troy broke through the walls in several areas. Charging through the gaps in the walls the defenders would initially attempt to hold the gaps, but overwhelming numbers forced them to retreat back to the keeps that lay within the city, and defend themselves from there. Falling one by one the keeps and strongpoints were no match for the unending armies of Austria, and thus the final stand was made at the Royal Fornost Palace. “She was ready to die. Her life was a hollow shell now she told me, and I never knew what had saddened her to the point that she was ready to die. I took her son with me because she was a brave soul, and that kind of spirit needs to be protected as best you can.” — Marcel Lovie II. Priam Troy stood with the army for the first time demanding for Driam Troy's return but Sif Hemsworth laughed at him from the walls lying that Driam was dead, and that only his body would be discovered by the Teutons. Priam instead of ordering the storming of the keep would bring forth catapults and ordered dead cows fired into the palace grounds and did this the entire day causing disease to spread amongs the Atlantians. As the Palace grounds were bombarded with disease the rest of the city was pacified and the many nobles unable to retreat southward were taken into their control, including several members of House Hemsworth. As the defenders of the palace died in their dozens Priam begin firing burning oil into the palace and so few were the gaurds that they were unable to combat the fire and it spread horribly throughout killing the remainder of the defenders. Sif Hemsworth and a handful of defenders opened the Palace gates and attempted to meet their end in honorable combat, but Priam Troy would fire on them with archers, and crossbowmen killing them before this could happen. Britney Turns Away “I saw who my mother really was in that moment. She spent her entire life telling me how dearly she loved my father, and yet here was her chance to save my father's cousin and she wouldn't even raise a finger. It would have taken nothing to help him, and yet she did nothing.” — Lucie Lovie As the army of Marcel Lovie retreated southward it was still filled with several thousand troops of the Order of the Black Numenorians led by Britney Hemsworth, and it would be this force that would dramatically change the outcome of the Battle of Frostmore. As they approached Frostmore she would be alerted by one her agents using one of the Magi Stones of Lucerne that the region of Lorderon had gone up in flame after discovering that Arthas Menathil was a chaos servent and was heading north with an army now no longer aligned with Lucerne. Realizing that no reinforcements were incoming she knew the fate of Arnor was sealed, but she also knew she needed time to get away, and thus she ordered her forces to sneak eastward during the night as they camped. Not alerting Marcel to the betrayal of Arthas Marcel was shocked in the morning when a quarter of his army was gone, but had no choice but to continue on to Frostmore. Britney took the entirety of her force as well as draining some of the defenses of Frostmore and traveled eastward before traveling southward into Dun Garek where she and Lucie bid goodbye to Arnor and made their way southward to new horizons. Arthas Moves North “Don't do this Arthas. I just need more time.” — Lucie Lovie Last Stand of Marcel Lovie “word from Dun Garek told me that noone was coming, and in that moment I knew what William would have wanted. He would have wanted me to retreat the army and save as many lives as possible. But as I looked around at the honorable people of Arnor I couldn't abandon them. So we fought, and so we died.” — Marcel Lovie II. As Marcel planned the defences of Frostmore alongside others he was horrified when the banners of the Empire of Valeria begin appearing on the western front, while The Empire's banners also begin appearing on the northern side of the fortress. Marcel upon all of these changes would make top priorty be the surival of as many of the Arnorian people as he could and they flooded southward into Dun Garek in increasing numbers as Frostmore turned into the last bastion of Arnor outside of Talheim. As the southern exit from Frostmore begin to be shut by the Valerians the remaining people inside Frostmore were forced to accept that they may be doomed, and Marcel did his best to quell the fear in the city, but it was as fear hit them that the Valerians struck against the western walls. The Valerians struck with hundreds of cultists, and more terrifying a few thousand demons struck the western walls and broke the moral of the defenders until Fredrick Clegane rallied them when he killed a larger demon. As the defenders rallied Fredick was struck by a black arrow killing him just as Marcel Lovie arrived to congratulate him on his turning of the tide. The defenders wanted to break and pull back but Marcel fought side by side on the western wall and held it for a time. During this desperate last defence while defending against cultists climbing up ladders it was Reingard Highdor that would be stabbed and slashed leaving his one arm gone and bleeding terribly from a wound to his stomach. Realizing that he needed help quickly or he would die it was Marcel that took him inside the tower they were defending and after telling Reingard that he would go and get a healer for him they both heard the fighting outside intensifying and opening the door saw the wall was falling. Realizing the situation Reingard would demand that Marcel leave and save the city over just him, and both crying they said goodbye as Marcel locked the tower door behind him leaving Reingard to bleed out in the tower. “It shocked me to learn that so many troops had already gotten through the Dun Garek passe, and I was elated by the news of Arthas's arrival.” — Marcel Lovie II. Marcel would arrange his forces into Frostmore following this because he was sent ravens by Arthas Menathil that his forces were incoming, and that he should remain there as the entire Lucernian army was only days away. As Frostmore was surrounded Marcel was confused as to where the relief was, but remained rresolute in following what he had been told, and for this reason he didn't retreat from Frostmore. The Valerians finally broke inside the walls, and he was told that The Empire forces had disaspeared from the north heading northward, and thus renewed that perhaps they were retreating in fear of the coming Lucerne army he fought with new passion in the defence of the city. As the city fell he defended the keep to the last, and was defeated in single combat by a Valerian man who had wings sprouting from his body and was just barely alive as he watched the forces of Valeria pull back. Marcel would wake up and find Arthas standing over him, but Arthas had completely given in to Chaos and would kill Marcel before desecrating his body and leaving the city. Alice Discovers the Truth “Marcel is dead.” — Alice Lovie While uncousioness the link between her and Marcel leads to her feeling his final moments from his point of view, and after this she wakes telling everyone around her that Marcel is dead. I lay broken on the ground, and the pain in my abdomen was more then I had ever felt before. I tried to get myself off the ground, but when I attempted to raise myself I realized my left arm wasn't there anymore. Feeling hopeless I slumped down more and for a moment I tried to imagine that this was how it would end. I turned my head to the right and saw several of the Valerians laying dead nearby, and slumped against a wall to my right was Erik Fahnrich with a spear through his chest. Looking at the dead eyes of a man I had known for more years then I can count. The eyes of a man that had gaurded me since birth. It was more painful then I would have ever thought looking into his eyes would ever be. My eyes felt so heavy in that moment but I was able to keep them open for long enough to see Martin Von Heever stumble over a fence to fall in front of me. The picture of honor every moment I had known him, here he lay in front of me with an arrow protruding from the back of his neck. I tried to get up to help him as he coughed but the pain struck through and I fell back against the wall. It was in that moment I knew it was all over. My eyes were just so heavy. Everything around me seemed to just quiet down as if it knew this was the end, and it wanted me to have peace in this place. As I closed my eyes I felt a force pull me upwards, and as I opened my eyes I saw Arthas Menathil and behind him several of his men. "Arthas...how did you get here" He had an angry look on his face as he said it, and seeing all this must have brought him great rage. But through his anger over our loss I smiled up at him knowing I wouldn't die alone. I knew enough about injuries to know I wasn't getting up from this one, but he was a friend in this place, and that was something. He looked at me perplexed for a moment before smiling a bit, and then answering me. "The call went out that you were besieged here. I'm only sorry that we didn't arrive in time." The Arthas in front of me now was not the gleaming purple armor of the man I had met all those years ago. His golden hair and purple armor had been replaced by darkness now, and I could barely focus my eyes but I could swear I saw some sort of mutation coming from his right side. "Are any of my men still alive?" I had hoped that he would give me some kind of reprieve but as he answered there was just nothing in his eyes, and in my peripheral vision I saw what appeared to me to be a man of Lorderon but his face was dead. He was a skeleton, and as I turned to look at the other men I saw now that their armor was ripped and they stood now as the dead. "What madness is this...Arthas what have you done?" He looked at me for a moment before simply dropping me to the ground and staring at the sky. "This world is something that has always perplexed me young noble. People sway, and they move as if they have some kind of control over what happens. You came here thinking that this would go the way it always had for people such as you. You were wrong young Marcel, and now you pay the ultimate price for your mistakes. I'm going to burn the world to pieces. I'm going to tear down everything and leave this world a ruin. Goodbye young Marcel." And the moment he said my name he pulled a sword from his side and before I could say another word he stabbed the sword through my chest. God didn't give me the fortune to die in that moment and as the life faded from me he pulled himself closer to my face and stared me directly in the eye. I wanted to make him leave. I didn't want it to end this way, and I squeaked out with what little strength I had left "William help me..." He laughed at me before twisting the sword in my chest, and the moment he did a strange thing happened. It all just went away. The clouds seemed to part...the pain of his sword in my chest disappeared into nothing. I could still see his smiling face staring down at me as I bled out, but it all just seemed less now. As the pain went away I looked at him and I didn't feel sad anymore. He stared into my eyes and as he did the world around his face went dark, and then his face blurred into nothingness.

Dead Invasion of Germania

Arthas Invades Germania This monster has crushed all resistance before him. He defeated the Austrians at Nuln. Crushed the wolves of Middenland at their own capital. Broke our army at Castle Nunenstein. Tell me my Emperor. How can we stop him? What do we do?

Following the Battle of Fornost the army of Arthas Menathil would move northward gathering significant reinforcements from the casualties of the Fornost region and then increasingly more as they moved through the war torn regions of Arnor. The rapidly expanding army of Arthas Menathil carves its way through Arnor, and Priam secretly commands the forces of Austria to do there best to avoid conflict with his army and instead begs for assistance from Karl Franz of whom begins rallying forces with the nearby forces of Slovakia, and Ostmark of whom were already rallying troops. Galindus Vapnisson would despite his own strong desire to not remain be left behind as the regent of Kosice when his father Edgin Vapnisson and elder brother Volham Vapnisson rallied much of there forces to join the army of Slovakia in resisting the invasion of Arthas, and thus would be within the walls of Kosice when a small splinter force of Arthas Menathil put Kosice under siege. Battle of Nuln Pushed back at great cost from the inner gatehouse leading to the main city, the forces of Arthas would retreat out of Nuln but he left a splinter force behind with commands to kill and burn as much of the taken portion of the city as possible while the majority of the army retreated northward. Massacre at Fratenjortz Main Article : Siege of Fratenjortz It was Janus Frandsen who was still living at his estate when the forces of Arthas Menathil came to Austria and while the main forces marched towards the major cities small splinter forces moved against some of the smaller villages including the villages looked over by Janus Frandsen, and it was here where he would make his power known. While his families home of Fratenjortz was under siege nearby it was Janus that was attacked at his estate by Magnus Fargriever a Liche in the Scourge army, and Magnus attacked directly towards the estate seeing it as the only defensible position in the area and arriving at the walls it was Janus who came to meet him with his guard. At first attempting to force a surrender out of Janus it was Magnus who became overcome with pain and begin to lose control of his skeletal forces as Janus came near him and realizing it was his powers doing this Janus entered his dream world and was able to pull Magnus from the Fade obliterating his soul and leaving him a soulless husk back in reality. With the death of Magnus the force with Magnus collapsed around him and with victory at hand he traveled to the local villages and had them retreat into the forests while he gathered what men he could and traveled towards Fratenjortz. After defeating the Scourge force attacking his land he would travel with his personal forces to Fratenjortz where he would attack the Scourge siege forces while they were attacking the walls and with an attack so unexpected he was able to get into the command structure of the sieging Scourge army and using his pariah gene he would obliterate the entire command structure of the attacking army leaving the skeletons and the entire army to collapse around him and breaking the siege. Relief of Nuln Following his breaking of the siege of Fratenjortz it was Janus that was taken by his sister Aristea Frandsen of whom was now all but ruler of House Frandsen with their father Conrad a sickly old man and she took him alongside much of the army of Fratenjortz towards Nuln where she planned to break the siege there. Arriving at Nuln the main force of Arthas had already left for the north but the remaining Nuln forces were struggling to break the remaining attackers and the forces of Fratenjortz would smash into them and using Janus they targeted the Liches all across the field of battle and were able to shatter the remaining Scourge forces who begin surrendering as they realized the weapon that Janus was. Invasion of Slovakia Main Article : Arthas Invasion of Slovakia It was Wolfram Hertwig III., and his son Wolfram Hertwig IV. that would lead the forces of Slovakia into the defense of the border of Slovakia when it was assailed by a dead army of Arthas moving into their province and the Slovakian forces would split their forces into two with one force led by Wolfram defending Castle Orava while a force led by Edgin Vapnisson would defend Orava Bridge. While these preperations were being made it was Galindus Vapnisson that would despite his own strong desire to not remain be left behind as the regent of Kosice when his father and elder brother rallied much of there forces to join the army of Slovakia in resisting the invasion of Arthas, and thus would be within the walls of Kosice when a small splinter force of Arthas Menathil put Kosice under siege. Gaining victory at the Battle of Castle Orava it was Wolfram who rallied his forces and moved towards Talabheim where the dead army fresh from victory at the Battle of Orava Bridge had put the city under siege, and joined by the forces of Galindus Vapnisson they prepared the army for the Battle of Talabheim. Following the defeat of the force besieging Talabheim it would be Galindus that rallied the broken forces of House Vapnisson following the defeat of his father and brother and led them north where they would fight at the Battle of Middenheim where he would be horrified to discover his brother and father had been reanimated and now fought for Arthas and although he was able to end his brother his father would escape the battle with Arthas. Invading the Lands of Ulric Following the Battle of Nuln and with the city nearly defenseless the movement of Arthas north would finally cause the forces of Middenland and the Ulric worshipers to make a move to truly enter the conflict. The army of Arthas would move directly through the center of Wissenland forcing the Elector Count there in the form of Alberich Anderssen to raise his armies, but not having enough forces ready that quickly he could not engage the skeletal army of Arthas and instead followed it as it moved through central Wissenland and north into Middenland. Chaos Allies “You should have died with your brothers and sisters back during the fall of your pantheon. To see you like this now is a travesty to their memory.” — Helgi As Arthas and the Scourge made there way into central Middenland it was the fallen titan Elric that met with the scourge leadership and attempted to make an arrangement with them which he hoped would lead to them helping him in releasing Daena from imprisonment. Helgi would travel into Germania at the command of her father following the movement of Arthas into the lands and having with her a group of Valkyrie and several dozen she would arrive in Middenland as Arthas entered the land, and once she had she sensed the summoning of a spell in the area and brought her forces to the location. Coming out of hiding in order to summon demons to the side of Arthas he would be set upon by several Titans who were in the area trying to work against Arthas and fighting a battle against them he realized they were going to beat him and thus he turned on his scourge allies using them as a shield and then escaped back into Drakwald Forest. Battle of Middenheim Main Article : Battle of Middenheim The combined forces of Middenland, Wissenland, and a small force from the Kingdom of Galia would mass outside of the city of Middenheim for the defence of the Ulric capital of which the Arthas army finally seemed intent on a fight as it moved towards the army. Battle of Nunenstein Castle Main Article : Battle of Nunenstein Castle Battle of Aldorf Main Article : Battle of Aldorf Following the forces of Arthas breaking through the fortress of Nunenstein Castle the army of Bavaria would be marshaled in its entirety and moved itself to Aldorf. While the Bavarians were mobilizing the long awaited reinforcements of Hannover moved into the province arriving west of Aldorf bolstering the defenders, but still paling in comparison to the forces they knew would be arrayed by Arthas Menathil. The Aftermath Volham Vapnisson having been found dying on the field by his brother he would die in his brothers arms and then taken back to Kosice where unlike their father he was put to rest in the ground and not raised in undeath like their father Edgin had been by Arthas. Breaking out of Denmark Defeated for the first time at the Battle of Aldorf the dead army of Arthas would make a move northward towards Denmark with their diminished forces, with this movement unable to be chased by the Hannover, and Bavarian Army due to the casualties they had suffered themselves. Isabella Rasmussen would during the movement of Arthas through Denmark become responsible for his escape when she met with Arthas in the Fade and mistakenly came to believe that his intentions were honorable, but after telling her father this and having him listen to her it was Arthas who came to her once again in the Fade and revealed that he would return in time and kill everyone in Denmark.

Vengeance of the Survivors

The Burned Flower Campaign You ruined our lives. Did you not think we would come for our vengeance?

“I sent my children to find you. Then I used your gifts to bring you here.” — Tyr Tyr would discover that Arthas Menathil was coming for the sword Frostmourne and realizing that if he got the sword he could become too powerful to stop he traveled to the Dutchy of Narke where he met with Ostgar Atlisdottir of whom he attempted to convinse to resist Arthas menathil when he did arrive but found to his horror that Ostgar was both extremely intelligent and also a sexual monster who held a harram of women as basically sexual slaves. With the change of resisting Arthas at Narke gone he traveled to the Dutchy of Messlingen where he met with Duke Beiner Hrutsson and was able to convinse the Duke to resist Arthas Menathil and thus protect the Vault that was within the Dutchy of Messlingen. Tyr would finally travel to the Dutchy of Daggson where he met with Duke Arnfinn Dagsson who he was also able to convince to resist Arthas menathil when he eventually made it into the area and following this he returned to Archervon Hold where he met with his sons in order to try and put together a plan to get into the Vault of Medizin. After long discussion they decided on putting into action a plot bringing a group of Magi Blanks from across Germania to Swedan where he planned to use the blanks to get inside the Vault of Medizin before Arthas could. The Vault of Medizin had been co created by Tyr generations previous and thus he knew it was defended by a clan of Dwarves who assisted by Magi resistance Stone Giants was meant to be unable to be defeated by Titans, or Demons and thus begin his plan to bring in the one thing the vault could not defend against in the form of Blanks. Name of Pariah Native Land Pariah Power Convinced By Janus Frandsen Austria 1 Emalon Galindus Vapnisson Slovakia 1 Emalon Visimar Boggison Hannover 2 Archavon Isabella Rasmussen Denmark 1 Visimar Boggison Mads Busk Wissenland 2 Emalon Tyr would send several of his children to the lands of Germania where they were able to find many blanks using Pendants of Pariah, and using the criteria of working against Arthas they narrowed this down to eight blanks who were effected very negatively by the actions of Arthas Menathil's invasion of Germania. Journey of Visimar Main Article : Killing of Cenuz Clawkeeper “There is a monster in that cave Visimar. It prays on the weak, and we can stop it here and now. Will you help us?” — Mathilde Sperber It was Visimar Boggison that would in his vengeance towards Arthas and with nothing left at home following the Hannover Civil War travel northward in his own quest to destroy Arthas for destroying everything he had ever known and loved. Visimar travels down the road resisting the pull to reenter the fade and instead stops at a small village where he wants to pray at a Sigmar Temple and arriving at the village he is noticed immediately as he is heavily armed and before he is even able to get off his horse he is approached by several villagers who ask him whether he was sent by Lord Liebhard Kruspe who is the Magnate of the area, but Visimar tells that he is not. Speaking with the villagers stops when the priest of the temple comes outside and sends the villagers away, and then quickly takes Visimar inside the temple where he finds a group of warrior priests inside and also several female warriors he recognizes as priestess of Shallya. Trying to find out what is happening he is told by Priest Sieger Keilberth, Witch Hunter Dietger Bodeker, and Priestess of Shallya Mathilde Sperber that they are here to battle a monster that has made its home within the forests surrounding the village and killed several villagers. He learns that previous to their arrival they have learned that Lord Liebhard had entered the cave and against the advise of his men took them inside and tried to kill the creature but was killed and his men abandoned him returning to Castle Kruspe to alert Liebhard's son of his fathers death. Seeing his armor and the priestess senses a strange power from him they ask him to help them and he agrees believing this a deed he cannot ignore, and with the plan to attack the monster during the night before it can attack the village again he takes up their offer of sleep and goes to sleep resting before the fight to come. “What is real? What is a dream?” — Visimar Boggison Woken hours later when darkness has come he follows with the group as they make their way to the cave, and reaching the entrance they enter the cave system where they find it is far more expansive then they had been told by the villagers. Hearing noises coming from different areas in the cave the group spreads out with Visimar going with Mathilde, and Dietger alongside the one of the sigmarite warrior priests and as they travel down the cave they come to a large opening where they find the remnants of a ritual spot, which is littered with dead animals. As they search the ritual site they discover the body of Liebhard Kruspe and he has horrible claw marks all over his body and his legs apear to have been eaten, but before they can do anything they hear screaming and going towards the screaming they find one of the warrior priests dead with his head having been ripped from his body. More screaming brings them to another tunnel in the cave where they find the remaining two sigmarite warrior priests dead but find a badly wounded Sieger Keilberth who tells them that the creature was a wolf who walked on two feet but ran away when Sieger begin preaching of Sigmar. Following the trail of blood they reach a large cavern where they see the creature up on a ledge, and the group is almost killed by the entrance collapsing due to the creature destroying a pillar, but Visimar pushes Mathilde out of the cavern leaving him alone in the cavern. Confronting the creature as it gets close he feels himself enter the dreamworld and the creature begins screaming and his wolf form disapears leaving him just a naked man, but despite attempting to communicate with the man he just continues screaming and eventually cuts begin forming all over his body and he bleeds out. Looking around him Visimar sees Mathilde, Dietger and the two Shallya Priests enter the cavern from a different entrance but they walk right past him and check the broken form of the creature on the ground. Realizing they cannot see him he watches as a second version of the man who had just died appears above the dead body, and realizes he is in some sort of heaven and wonders whether he is dead, but then he feels himself pulled back into the non-dream world which scares the group as he appears to them from seemingly no where. Before the group can discuss anything about what happened its the benefactor of Cenuz who arrives in the form of Dishlaash and enraged at the death of his agent it is Dishlaash who kills one of the Shallya Priests and then attempts to kill Mathilde but is resisted by the rest of the group including Visimar who engages the arrogant Dishlaash and with the entire group channeling worship in Sigmar Dishlaash becomes unhinged and is struck down by Mathilde. As the man dies it is Visimar that hears whispers in his mind telling him to dream, and without truly understanding what he is doing he enters the dream world where he finds the ghost of the wolf creature and the second man standing there talking. The two realize he is there but Otwin begins screaming in horror at him describing Visimar as a hole in the world, while the other man appears unafraid. Visimar once again hears whispers and the whispers tell him how to use his powers which he does and to the shock of Dishlaash he erases the two using his pariah powers, but as Dishlaash dies he lets out a scream for his father to help him thus summoning Ragoth. “Your dreams were never dreams Visimar.” — Archavon Since remembering the death of Liam Odrell in his dream world it was Visimar who was consistently no longer able to control his dreaming and he found himself entering the fade and dreaming in the fade even while awake and it was while riding northward that Visimar was startled from his daydreaming by the sight of several armed horsemen in front of him. Visimar who has been startled from his daydreaming by the armed horsemen in front of him, and after brief conversation the men force him to pay them money to pass, and not wanting violence he pays them but unfortunately they see his purse of gold and try to get more money from him. After telling them what he is doing they laugh at his stupidity in trying to to kill Arthas and enraged by this he kills the leader instigating a fight from them and while he kills all the bandits during the fighting he takes a bad sword wound and falls unconscious in the middle of the road. Visimar would wake to find himself in a bed and hears a women singing quietly while she cradles a baby. Attempting to rise he finds himself tied to the bed, and grunting the women notices him, and quietly puts the baby in a bed before grabbing something from a table and coming over to him and whispering sleep before covering his mouth and nose causing him to sleep from the substance. Visimar once again waking and this time he does not hear the singing of the women instead is met by the stare of a heavily armored man of whom he engages in conversation discover the man is a hedge knight for a Bavarian lord and that he and his wife had found him on the road dying and had saved him but were unwilling to release him from his bonds due to the violence in the area as of late. Skirmish at Onemsson Estate Main Article : Skirmish at Onemsson Estate “You have something beautiful here Adelheld. Promise me that you will cherish it everyday.” — Visimar Boggison Visimar continues to attempt to recover under the watchful guard of the man who has revealed himself as Starolf Onemsson and his wife Adelheid Onemsson and it is while recovering that he gets to know the two better, and they form a friendship over the days that follow but are still unwilling to let him go considering the state they found him in. After several days Visimar is able to get himself loose during the night but continues to rest in the bed and does not say anything as he rests for the entire next day. During Visimar's time at the Enemsson Estate it was Archavon that was still watching over Visimar but his proximity brought in Chaos influence who watched Archavon watching the family and the demon titan Ragoth would corrupt a local bandit and had the bandit gather a group to attack the estate. Waking up in the morning he is woken to the sounds of yelling as he finds the women on the ground with a man attacking her while the husband is wrestling with another man, and a third man enters the room making his way towards the children room. Having nearly fully recovered from his wounds he gets up and using the knife he had hidden in his bed he stabs the man attacking the wife through the neck before stabbing the man wrestling the husband, and then getting him to his feet before the two together kill the third man who attempted to get into the children's room. As the sounds of screaming from within alert the final man of the bandit group the final bandit launches a torch at the house igniting it in flames, but together Visimar, the husband and wife are able to get the children out of the house, and leaving the burning home Visimar engages the final man in a duel killing him as well. Visimar after this rushes to try and put out the fire, but is confused when the family does nothing to help, and after realizing he cannot stop the fire he turns back and sees the family laughing at him. “You were like a hole in the world. No matter what I tried to do I could not escape the pull of walking into that hole.” — Adelheid Onemsson Getting mad that they are laughing at him he understands when the women whistles and bird flies to her shoulder and after its arrival she begins chanting but at her chanting she begins crying out in pain. As she chants Visimar feels himself become something different and it becomes just himself and Adelheld in the clearing, and trying to understand what is happening they are joined in the clearing by another in the form of a man who calls himself Archavon and the man explains what Visimar is. After recovering she looks to Visimar and tells him that when she begin trying to use her Magi Visimar became like a dark hole that tried to suck her in and then she was sucked into that that dark version of reality where Archavon was waiting for them. Having discovered the location of her brother Adelheld plans to travel south and find her brother and Visimar is torn between going with them and getting his vengeance but the anger is too strong and he tearfully says goodbye to the family who has saved his life, but agrees that when he gets his vengeance he will find them again. Finding Isabella “Go to the north of Denmark. In the town of Aalheld you will find a girl who has every reason to want to help you in your journey.” — Archavon Isabella Rasmussen had become hateful towards Arthas following her role in his escape from Denmark when she had used her Pariah gene to enter the Fade and pull Arthas in as well and believing her power was more then his she was tricked by Arthas into believing that his goals were true and thus she convinced her father to work for the escape of Arthas. Following this Arthas had in an act of malice returned to Denmark in the Fade through the help of Elu-Kael Thuzad and had taunted Isabella that his goals were violent in nature and that he would return to Denmark and kill her and everyone she loved as punishment for her stupidity and after she was beaten horribly when she tried to fight him she fled the fade returning to Denmark. Having experienced this and realizing she had caused something horrible through her actions she became obsessed with getting revenge on Arthas and it was in this obsession that she formed the Knights of Isabella of whom were sworn to her and of whom she had formed for her eventual goal of attacking and killing Arthas. Isabella Rasmussen would be drawn out of Aalheld and her family by the call of a nearbye Pariah in the form of Visimar Boggison of whom was able to convince Isabella to meet with him, and during this meeting she came to agree that she had to join him to stop Arthas. Leaving her husband in the night it was Isabella Rasmussen who followed the words of Visimar Boggison she would flee Aalheld and join with the force of Visimar as they made there way into Swedan to deal with Arthas and following Visimar she learned more about the true depths of her powers and what her potential could be. Finding Astrid Main Article : Rescue of Astrid “Astrid Skididottir is a blank like you and Isabella. She grew up knowing nothing but hatred from her family and she had built herself a life in this place. All that changed when demons tricked her into doing their bidding. Kill the demons and we get Astrid and her cult.” — Archavon With Archavon now working with Visimar he takes him and his expanding group to the outskirts of a small Swedish village inside the Dutchy of Vastervik where he tells Visimar this is the home of a group called the Cult of Astrid formed in worship to Astrid Skididottir a blank like Visimar and he can gain her loyalty and help in his quest moving north. Going into the village Visimar discovers that the villagers do in fact worship Astrid and have become driven to Chaos by a recent change in their lady Astrid and realizing that this is what the demons have been doing they are able to trick the cultists into giving away the location of the lady who is located in a ruined tower south of the village. After killing the demons holding Astrid Skididottir hostage it is Archavon who is forced to leave them as he is attracting the demons to Visimar and Astrid but directs them towards Archervon Hold where he will wait for them. Instead of going directly to Archervon Hold it is Visimar who agrees with Astrid that they can do more good while they are here by confronting her brother who is a major booster of Chaos in the area and by destroying him they can weaken the hold of chaos in the area. Having been released from her imprisonment she returned to her cult and alongside Visimar she and the group now joined by the Cultists returned to Vastervik where they confronted her brother Kodran at the Duel at Vastervik. Journey of Janus Janus would listen to the words of his sister Aristea of whom he was all but a fanatical supporter of at this point and followed her as she raised an army to follow after Arthas Menathil, and journeying with her they traveled north east and sail from Western Prussia and then enter Swedan and bring the fight to Arthas. Leaving Gotska Torovon would be sent by his father to locate a Pariah who was located at the island of Gotska having just recently invaded the island and took it from the control of the previous Chaos aligned forces, and meeting with the leadership of the now Germania controlled island he found Janus Frandsen the Pariah was the most trusted commander of the islands leader Aristea Frandsen. Journey of Galindus “Your father took responsibility for his actions. He fought very hard for what he believed in. And I will not stop you from doing the same thing.” — Natalie Vapnisson Emalon would be sent into Germania in order to gain the service of blanks for the use of his father in forming the Party of the Pariah and Emalon was drawn towards a pariah in the province of Wissenland named Mads Busk. Mads would be approached by Emalon while he was living in his forest exile and Emalon was able to bring Mads to the idea of getting revenge on Arthas by revealing to him that Mads sister had perished during Arthas's assault northward, and with Mads agreeing he would show Mads the powers of his Pariah gene spending several weeks with him in the forests. Finishing his training it was Emalon who sent him north to wait for him in northern Slovakia while he went to meet with a noble in Slovakia named Galindus Vapnisson, of whom was the next Pariah he was trying to recruit. Following the birth of their son Volham Vapnisson II. Galindus's pariah inspired nightmares would become worse and alongside this he was visited by Emalon a child of Tyr who begin to whisper to Galindus to end his fathers prison of an existence and while at first he was able to use his abilities to stop Emalon from truly reaching him in the fade Emalon was too powerful and pushed past Galindus defenses and the two spoke inside the fade where Emalon did not reveal the truth of what was happening to him but was able to convince him that he needed to go north. Having been convinced and despite growing into love with Natalie he would leave her as regent of Kosice and travel northward with a troop of his men to find and give his father peace. As he traveled north it was Mads Busk who met him on the road and after discovering who he was he was shocked as Mads was believed dead years previous but as he questioned whether Mads was lying the two met in the Fade and realizing that the two shared the same abilities he would come to trust mads and agreed to let mads come with him. Entering Hammarstrand Galindus Vapnisson would enter the city of Hammarstrand where he infiltrated the city alongside his companions through the caverns and while traveling in the caverns he was seen by Ludwina of whom seeing him in his white armor became entranced by him following him after he became lost from his companions and she would be there when he was discovered by the House Atlisdottir palace guards and her words kept him from being imprisoned after she lied about why he was there. Following Ludwina conspiring with Galindus the two would arrange a complicated escape plan for Ludwina and several people who Ludwina had as friends, and also during this time of planning and conspiring they would begin to work on Galindus's goal of ending his father of whom was present within the walls of Hammarstrand. Jaina Menathil was everything for Arthas Menathil, and Arthas was everything for Jaina. This relationship was one that for the two of them couldn't have been more perfect, and for many years it was just this.

But underneath the calm and cool exterior of Arthas was a growing darkness, that was only accelerating with the interferance of Kael'Thuzad. This darkness begin to effect their love, and during their lovemaking he begin to become forceful, and sometimes near violent. This scared Jaina, and although he hid it well, it scared Arthas as well.
