The Lucernian Academy is a large school located inside the Kingdom of Lucerne capital of Lucerne Hold, and in charge of education, and training the minds of the most elite of the Lucernians. The Lucernian Academy is built into the side of the Lucernian Crater, and can see the sky though the openings in the crater walls, and also has an open dome over that part of the Academy.
The Lucernian Academy is led by the Guild of High Scholastic of whom is one of the prime Guilds in the Kingdom of Lucerne, and they have been given distinct independence allowing them freedom of teaching of the noble class that goes to the academy far more then the other Scholastic Guilds in the Kingdom of Lucerne. The Lucernian Academy itself is ruled by the Lucernian Guild of Low Scholastic which is a lower tier guild leaving it under the direction of the upper tier guild of High Scholastic, and its Direktor ruling as a lower congressmen.
The Lucernian Academy was founded by William Lovie I. of whom wished for a place to send the greatest of the Lucernian people, and while originally he wanted anyone who was deemed special to be able to come this drastically changed as he got older and became a place for the elites of the Kingdom to send their children. The Lucernian Academy was ransacked by John Lovie during his brief reign, and following this the Academy itself was no longer under the control of House Lovie and instead given to the Guild of High Scholastic of whom were tasked with running the academy, and also tasked later under James Lovie with expanding their tasks to also founding smaller schools in the other cities for the less wealthy families and nobles. The Guild and the Lucernian were given wider independence under the late reign of James Lovie II. as a means of stopping the influence of the noble class on what was being taught at the school and he also expanded the roster of the school adding non noble born admission under special circumstances.

The Lucernian Academy trains their students from the earliest entry at the age of ten, and moves this up to the age of twenty being the graduation age.
Age of Enrollment[]
Noble born : The age at which a noble born may enter the Lucernian Acadmey is at the age of ten.
Entry by Dowry : The age at which those who enter the school by paying the large dowry is at the age of fourteen.
Others : All others of whom are not of nobleborn, or being purchased in by a rich relative or someone else are only permitted to enroll within the school at the age of fifteen, and they may only spend one year at the school and thus miss most of the earliest times, and also cannot graduate due to the fact that they are unable to take final year.

Students entering the Lucernian Academy are placed into different programs based on the choice of their parent who is able to pick on several different paths based on the goal of the parent for the student. A student will enroll in one core program which will take them throughout the entirety of there time at the Lucernian Academy, and then can also enroll into a masters program which they can technically achieve three mastery program graduations but can only move to another once graduated the current masters program leaving it open to the success of the student.
