Gloin
Gloin Blackbeard
is the High King of Karak Mulger, and the Clan leader of Clan Blackbeard making him one of the most powerful Dwarves of the Lucernian Mountains. Gloin Blackbeard has two siblings in the form of Oin Blackbeard of whom remains embroiled in a guerrilla war throughout the fallen lower levels of Thaig Kortaze, while his elder brother Dwiga would be the brief King of Karak Mulger during its fall but fell during this same event.

Gloin Blackbeard would be born the son of Groin, and Sirya Blackbeard making him third in line for the throne of Karak Mulger behind his father, and brother Dwiga Blackbeard, but above his brother Oin Blackbeard. Gloin would be inside Karak Izor when the Goblins attacked Karak Mulger in the final battle that led to the fall of the siege and he was left the King of Karak Mulger as his father, and brother both died during the fall of the city. Gloin Blackbeard would be present during the Final Battle of the Gates where he witnessed the White Dovah annihilate the Goblin Army and kill the Goblin King Jarsnik of whom had caused so much death among the Dwarves of Lucerne, and following this he would take part in the construction of Lucerne in true appreciation for House Lovie.

History

Etymology

Gloinn is a dwarf in the "Dvergatal" of which is a part of the Dwarven religious creationist story. The name means "Glowing one".
