House Osnard took controlm of the Kingdom of Aran following the defeat of the forces of House Jennett of whom controlled the lands for centuries before House Osnard gathered an alliance to take the island from outsiders. House Osnard controls the town of Twinvale where they maintain the only real power in the city as their are only a few other knightly houses that live directly inside the capital.

House Osnard first entered the island of Radin during the Great Migration, after they got into a disagreement with the Riverlords that had taken control of the Riverlands. House Osnard spent centuries as a loyalist to the forces of House Jennett, but following the Driving Tide in Lucerne a revolution sprang up when William Lovie I. sent them logisitical support in order to assist them in becoming independant. House Osnard became the ruler of the Kingdom of Aran after this as the forces of House Jennett were unable to resist the overwhelming popular support for House Osnard, and from there they made the capital of Twinvale into a true capital for their kingdom while also trying to make relationships with the Freys of whom they angled towards and away from the Riverlands and Fairmarket.
