Hydriel Windrunner is the daughter of two Sindari Elves of Ulthuan. Laedren Windrunner would come to fall in love with and marry Hydriel of whom was a beautiful Sindari Elf and the two had many children together and had a long and happy marriage which only ended with their deaths.
Laedren and his wife Hydriel would remain in Gaen Vale during the War of Vengeance as Hydriel refused to leave their ancestoral lands and go to France and thus remaining behind with the bulk of the Sindari Elves they were named the lords of the fortress of Gaen Vale. Laedren and his beloved wife Hydriel would continue to rule over the Atmer fortress of Gaen Vale following the War of Vengeance and the departure of nearly the entirety of the Windrunner Family and while missing their children they alongside the heir of the Windrunner Family in the form of Melanul Windrunner would continue the Sindari elven control of Gaen Vale. Hydriel, and Laedren Windrunner would be within the walls of the fortress of Gaen Vale when the Third Elven Civil War came to the city and she would be murdered alongside her husband Laedren during the siege of the city.
