The Kingdom of Dustin is a large kingdom located in southern Westros beneath the Great Westros Lake. The Kingdom of Dustin is ruled over by House Dustin of whom holds the primary position in the kingdom and has done so since the founding of the kingdom as an independant nation. The Kingdom of Dustin is split between two major religions with the main proportion of the population following Christianity and this religion dominates the desert of the main part of the Kingdom, but in the western forestlands the worship of Dragonoph is the majority religion. The lands of Dustin are split between the Gotlians, and the Atlantians of which the Gotlians are an ethnic group created following the mingling of Goths, and Atlantians and thus they are of the same descent.

The Kingdom of Dustin is ruled over by the "Dust King" of whom rules from the desert capital of Dustenvale, and his control over the desert lands is akin to a full dicatorship as their are very few lords of any substance in the land with basically all titles in the desert held by the "Dust King". Beneath the King in power lies the "Water Prince", and the "Forest Prince" of which the Water Prince rules over the lands above the mountains of Dustin, and controls titles along the coastline heridetariliy, while the forest prince is the controlling Lord of the forestlands that dominate the western border of Dustin, and he is historically the most independant of the leaders as he controls a distinctly different population then anyone else in Dustin.

The Kingdom of Dustin contains within its borders two Dwarven controlled settlements in the form of Thaig Dueren, and Thaig Peutren of which both have minor populations but both have grown under the control of Dustin and are loyal members of the Kingdom of Dustin. The Dwarves hold a position of self control over themselves, and this has been built by generations of loyal service, and it is not suprising to see a large contingent of Dwarves within any army that the Dustin Army moves forward with.

The Kingdom of Dustin has a very large population of which is devided between the different areas within the Kingdom of Dustin of which there are three. The first area is the desert lands of Central and Eastern Dustin, and within this area the Gotlians, and Atlantians are dominent alongside the belief in Christianity and this area is where the majority of the population lives. The second area is the coastline above the Mountains of Dustin, and this area is dominated by Gotlians, and Atlantians again but their population is smaller and they worship after the Old Gods within their largest city of Barrowton. The third and final region is the forestlands of the west where the Goths are in the majority, and while a smaller population the elsewhere they are a vast majority worshipping of the Dragonoph.

The Kingdom of Dustin is a very old kingdom of which it first begin  during the Empire of Numeron where it was a province within the Empire that stretched all the way to the east as far as Dragonstone. Following the Downfall of Numeron the first members of House Dustin entered the region, and alongside a large grouping of Goths begin mingling with the Atlantians over several generations, and as the Arnor attempt to reunite the Empire of Numeron failed the leadership of House Dustin took control of the deserts of Dustin and founded the beginning of the Kingdom of Dustin. The Kingdom of Dustin would begin to expand outwards with the attack on the Kingdom of Barrow of which was controlled the lands north of the Mountains of Dustin, and was only reached after the Dustin's built a series of tunnels through the mountains with the help of the Dwarves of Dustin. The Kingdom of Dustin would then make its final expansion when it attacked the forests west of the deserts of its core and was able to move very far west until they attacked into the lands of House Hornwood, and were soundly defeated forcing a retreat into the forests and a tentative peace between the two. The Kingdom of Dustin would engage in a brief war against the Kingdom of Vordling after the death of the heir to House Dustin, and this war ruined the long standing friendship between the two and would lead to the death of thousands on both sides of the conflict.

Geography

The Kingdom of Dustin is a land of great differences, with the Kingdom basically devided into three major regions. The second part of the Land is the forests of the western lands and this is a small part but a large section as well. The third is the lands above the mountains, and these are ruled almost as an indpendant kingdom, but they are grasslands bordering the Great Westros Lake, and are a land all there own.

Atlantians

Once completely dominated by the Atlantians following the Downfall of Numeron, and the rise of House Dustin the population of Atlantians has consistently decreased to the point where they are now no longer the largest group in the Kingdom of Dustin. Gotlians

With the arrival of the Goths into the region of Dustin they would intermingle over many generations with the Atlantians and this gave rise to a new grouping called the Gotlians of which were partly Atlantian and Gothic Stock. The Gotlians have since their creation become the largest grouping within the Kingdom of Dustin, and only in the western lands outside of the desert is the population of Gotlians, and Atlantians not in a majority.

Dwarves of Dustin

Due to the fact that the Kingdom of Dustin is surrounded by mountains they have a population of Dwarves that inhabit the Kingdom, and while independant the two groups have constantly been allies throughout their history. The Dwarves of Dustin are mainly living within two locations in the form of Karak Mere, and Thaig Dragbard of which Karak Mere is a rather large Dwarven settlement with several thousand dwarves making their home in the Hold, while Thaig Dragbard is a smaller settlement with only 1200 Dwarves living in the Hold.

Karak Mere

Karak Mere is a medium sized Rof-Dwarven Hold located in the Mountains of Dustin, and ruled over by Clan Erikton. Despite being within the borders of the Kingdom of Dustin the Hold of Karak Mere has remained independant from the Dustin's but has a massive amount of trade with the Dustin's and their trade routes all flow through human traders, and the armories, of many of the elite knights of Dustin are made by the Dwarves of Karak Mere.

Karak Mere was founded by the Empire of Karak Ankor as they were expanding westward, and for generations they would grow wealthy due to their isolation and close trade routes with the more western Holds. Karak Mere would leave Karak Ankor during the decline of the empire, and for a time was very isolated in the Dustin Mountains, and there trade routes became compltely towards the humans with no real relations with the Dwarves.
