Lamedon is a large town in the north-western section of the Kingdom of Gondor and lying on the Glanduin River which it connects to the other side through three large bridges. Lamedon has a sizeable population of Atlantians and following the fall of Rhuthian the minority germanic population of the town fled westward as during this time reprisals between the two ethnic groups drove a wedge between the two historical populations.

Lamedon was once one of the larger towns of Gondor, but following the collapse of its economy and the town becoming more of a fortress then a town its population mainly emigrated away with its population now stable at 6,000 far down from the 20,000 it peaked at before the economic collapse of the city.

Lamedon following the capture of Rhuthian to the Kingdom of Lucerne would become the fortress of Gondor in the west and under the supervision of King Aragorn Elessar the city would be greatly expanded as a fortress to defend Gondor, and its economic purpose changed dramatically as the industry quickly fled the town for the more safer towns turning the once vibrant economy of Lamedon around.
