Insert Character Name is the daughter of Rodrigo, and Vannoza Borgia making her a member of House Borgia. Lucrezia Borgia has three siblings in the form of Lucrezia, Juan, and Joffre Borgia of which Lucrezia is an extremely influencial member of House Borgia being the lover of Cesare Borgia and being the lady of Genoa in everything but name, while Juan would be a charismatic knight of Hosue Borgia but was murdered and with absence of a guilty party the murder was blamed on the brother of his wife in the form of Marcus Pilatus leading to the next stage of conflict between the two houses, while finaly Joffre is a brave knight of House Borgia where he is very loyal to Cesare Borgia.

Rodrigo Borgia would discover the incestuous relationship between Lucrezia, and Cesare and would confront Cesare about this and following this confrontation came to understand that Cesare was not going to stop and thus would quickly marry off Lucrezia to Giovanni Sforza a wealthy Genoese merchant of whom was willing to pay a high bride price in order to quickly have the marriage, and while she went through with this the cost was high as Cesare would begin to conspire to kill Rodrigo. Following the discovery that she was pregnent with the child of Cesare it would be Lucrezia that conspired with Cesare to murder Giovanni Sforza and frame there child as his despite her having never been intimate with him even on the night of their marriage and this would quickly culiminate in Cesare and his men confronting Giovanni on his merchant ship and killing him alongside his entire crew before sinking the vessel leaving the Genoese nobility to be unsure of his fate until his ship was found empty of crew and he was pronounced dead leaving the marriage annulled. Marcus Pilatus would be present in Ravenna when Juan Borgia arrived in the city to marry his sister Oppia and during the early stage of the marriage between Juan and Oppia it was Marcus and Juan that became close friends and everything was very happy for the family and there were discussions with Rodrigo Borgia to marry another member of House Borgia into House Pilatus with a betrothal agreed between Marcus, and Lucrezia Borgia. When the betrothal of Lucrezia and Marcus was discovered by Cesare (despite Rodrigo keeping it as secret as possible) it was Cesare that would become unhinged at yet another attempt to take Lucrezia from him and thus in secret travelled to Ravenna where he would plan to kill Marcus Pilatus but instead discovered his brother Juan had become best friends with Marcus and overcome with a feeling of betrayal he murdered Juan in a fit of rage and then menipulated the scene to implicate Marcus.
