Maergary Ordos was the daughter of Wilmar, and Lucie Ordos making her a member of House Ordos. James would come to marry Margeary Ordos and the two of them had a very strong marriage where the intelligence of Maergary was something that came to define the court of James Lovie as she held a lot of power throughout his reign of power. Maergary Ordos, and James Lovie would have three children together in the form of James, Catherine, and James Lovie of which James was a brave young man one of the best friends of his older brother James but would die during the Battle of Lyons, and his son James would become the King before madness overtook his reason and he was removed from the Kingdom eventually by his son William Lovie III the current king of Lucerne, while his daughter Catherine has become a very important member of House Lovie and would become only more so upon the rise of William Lovie III.

Esme and James Lovie would come to fall in love while she was the lady in waiting to his mother and this love was interrupted by the betrothal of James to Lisa Tyrell of whom the Tyrells had been chosen as the marriage partner for James despite the heavy pushing of James's mother Margeary that it should be Esme. The discovery that Esme Portmane was pregnant would lead to a dramatic showdown between James Lovie and Margeary Lovie but eventually James's mother lost the battle and Esme would be sent back to Lorderon where it was implied she should abort the child which she lied and said she would do but told James the truth that she was not going to do it. Following the death of James Lovie Maegary Ordos would continue to be quite sickly but battling this sickness for years she would attempt to help her son James Lovie rule, and thus for the first few years of his reign she was the regent of the Kingdom of Lucerne. Maergary would become a source of increased resistance to the corruption being suffered by her son James and in this resistance it was James that was after several months unable to stop Vhloraz from taking complete control for several minutes and during this time Vhloraz would murder Maergary in front of many onlookers before James was able to regain control.

Early History[]

Esme Portmane Arrives[]

Arriving in Lucerne she spent all her time either working with Margeary Ordos or at the Lucernian Academy and it was while at the Lucernian Academy that she became close with two boys in the form of Carlisle Cullen, and James Lovie II. and these relationships would come to define her.

Torn Apart[]

Esme and James Lovie would come to fall in love while she was the lady in waiting to his mother and this love was interupted by the betrothal of James to Lisa Tyrell of whom the Tyrells had been chosen as the marriage partner for James despite the heavy pushing of James's mother Margeary that it should be Esme.

James Lovie was born in Lucerne to James Lovie, and Helga Lovie. At a young age James Lovie was always popular due to his outgoing personality, and good looks. This popularity lead to him growing a bit arrogant, and this arrogance would become a problem later in his life. But during his youth he came to enjoy the company of his friends, and in these friendships he would enter the Lucernian Academy. At the Lucernian Academy he would become the most popular kid at the academy, of which a lot had to do with the fact that he was the heir to the throne. In the end he and his best friend Draco Highmore were inseperable, and it was under these cercumstances that he would be pulled out of class to be told that his father King James Lovie had passed away. The suddenness of his death was such that the society, and the goverment were unsure of how to move forward. As the goverment was driven with paralysis there was a movement by a few members of the Council of lucerne of whom once again wanted to place an incumbent in charge while they awaited James Lovie to get older. As this gained steam it was Tywin Lannister, alongside Maergary Ordos that begin pushing hard for James to be immediatly placed in the place of King of Lucerne so that he would not have to deal with another situation like he did when James Lovie spent his entire reign under the influence of the previous regent in Jacob. In this way Tywin Lannister would convinse his fellow Lord in Genn Greymane to join with him in placing James on the throne even at his young age, and as a means of appeasement Maergary Ordos was named the regent of the Kingdom of Lucerne.

The Rise and Fall of Lisa Lovie
Lisa Tyrell was one of the kindest. Sweetest. Funniest. Selfless people I have ever met. I told her my plans and she jumped at the chance to help me. She wanted to make this world a better place, and for that she paid a terrible price.

Rise of Lisa Tyrell[]

Lisa Tyrell would jump to prominence when her father and mother were able to convince James Lovie to betroth his second son James Lovie II. to Lisa in a betrothal that they had competed against with their rivals in House Scott and been able to win. Following the announcement of this betrothal it was Olenna Tyrell that would return to Highgarden but Mastir Tyrell would remain behind in Lucerne where as a part of the betrothal he was named the Steward of James Lovie II. and thus remained in the city to keep an eye on his daughters future husband. Lisa would instead of traveling to Lucerne with her mother and father would instead be sent instead to High Hrothgar and was to spend a year there praying to Glaurung for the good health of all things that came from her marriage to James Lovie II. Arriving at High Hrothgar she would begin her prayers under the teutalage of the Priests there but during this time she fell under the eye of the Dovah Lornax who wanted to use the potential proximity of Lisa to the royal family to her advantage.

Tournament of Roses[]

At the tournament of Roses in 5098 it was James Lovie and Lisa Tyrell the long time betrothed that would meet for the first time and despite attempts by some of the other houses to win the tournament it was James Lovie that won and named his betrothed the Queen of Love and Beauty and then the two were married in a small ceremony outside of Nortburg a few weeks after this.

When word reached the capital that James and survivors had arrived at Lichtenstorf it was everyone that was overjoyed at the news, but for Lornax and Lisa the situation was incredibly dire. By this point Lisa was fading away more and more each day, and despite the great effort done by Lornax to attempt to counter act what was happening to Lisa all attempts were failing.

Maergary would become a source of increased resistance to the corruption being suffered by her son James and in this resistance begin recalling people to the capital that had been friends of James during his better times. First bringing to the capital Charles Swan, and Eddard Starke the two former best friends of James found themselves shocked at what had happened to James. Both had seen the changes when he had returned from France, but the changes since they had left were beyond dramatic, and led both to vow to try and help there former best friend. As the attempts continued it was James that was after several months unable to stop Vhloraz from taking complete control for several minutes and during this time Vhloraz would murder Maergary in front of many onlookers before James was able to regain control. Following the realization that he had killed his mother in a blind rage he would come to the conclusion that he could no longer control whatever was happening within him, and with Lisa now nearly comatose he commanded that word be sent for Esme to be brought back to Lucerne. Esme responded almost immediatly to the call to the return, and begin heading to Lucerne from Lorderon traveling with her daughter Diane but leaving behind Natalie, and Jamie with her family. As they waited for Esme to come to Lucerne the group was forced to put James into an almost constant state of use of opioids which kept Vhloraz at bay. When Esme arrived she was shocked to see the state of addiction he was in, but doing his best James asked them to listen as he told them the truth for the first time about what was happening to him.

The First Attempt[]

With James still able to control himself during this time to a much larger degree then would eventually become the case he revealed to those near him that he felt a voice within him who called himself Vhloraz. He revealed this information to Kieth Schwartz, Khadgar, Esme Portmane, Charles Swan, Eddard Starke, and Witold Jestife and learning this they would in their first attempt to save James attempt to discover the purpose of Vhloraz. Kieth, Khadgar, and Witold would both enter the Fade attempting to discover who this creature was but as they did this it was Vhloraz that was prepared for this attempt and as they got close to him he unleashed dozens of Titans aligned to him and while Kieth, and Khadgar were able to escape back to reality it was Witold that found himself stuck within the Fade. Captured by the Titans it was Witold that was subjected to possession by the Titan Gernimach who tortured him within the Fade while back in reality it was Kieth, and others that worked feverishly to attempt to get Witold back. After several days they were able to return Witold to reality but by this point it was Gernimach that came alongside him, and realizing what had happened it was the group that attempted to kill him but found themselves stopped by the arrival of Vhloraz. Vhloraz had taken complete control for a moment and fought alongside Gernimach killing several guards before forcing the rest to retreat leaving Vhloraz and Gernimach victorious in the moment.

Following this event it was Kieth that decided to begin shielding James from events like this through the assistence of both Lothar Guntbold, and the increasingly prominent Aelfwynn Turnidlon. Aelfwynn was commanded to create illusions for James which made him believe that those who were being killed, or the bad decisions being made were either deserved or out of his control. Lothar would assign his enchanter Wuldrik Toyne to assist Aelfwynn in this goal by creating memory loss spells that assisted in the stories and menipulations being done by Aelfwynn.

Vhloraz Betrayed[]

Gernimach and Vhloraz would at first work together but as Vhloraz gained more influence over James it was Gernimach that betrayed Vhloraz and worked with Kieth Schwartz to form a pact for James to make with Vhloraz which would give James safeguards to stop Vhloraz from ever taking full control. After betraying Vhloraz and leaving him unable to fully gain control of James it was Gernimach that feigned continued loyalty to Vhloraz who was far more powerful then he was but in actuality he begin forming the Order of the Cerulean Eye in order to eventually take control of the Valley of Lucerne and kill his now rival Vhloraz.
