Malekith Beren is a Dark Elf that was born the son of Aenarion Aestarion perhaps the greatest Elven hero of all time, and his great love Morathi and thus a member of both the Elder House of his mother and father in the form of House Aestarion through his father, and a member of House Beren through his mother. Malekith would become the leader of theDark Elves, who are a break away faction of High Elves who now reside in Nord America. Malekith had several siblings most noteably Caledor of whom was Pheonix King and Malekith would murder in order to gain the throne of Atmer. Malekith Beren would come to marry Lirnith of whom was actually his sister but was basically the only person that his mother would accept for him to take as a wife due to her severe jelousy. With Lirnith Malekith has several children in the form of Harthon, Eithion, Angolil, and Erthrir of which his eldest child Harthon is a violent sadistic Dark Elf of whom has become infamous for his actions against the people of the Plains, while his second child in Eithion is a commander of the Druchii navy where he operates out of the Druchii fortress port of Clar Karond where he would be taken prison during the fighting with the Twi'lek, while Angolil would be married to a noble family of the Dark Elf city of Hag Graef as a means of retaining their loyalty and she has done this work with a tireless success since leaving her home, and finally is Erthrir of whom is a Magi sensitive and the most beloved member of the children of Malekith and Lirnith and would fight during the Twi'lek of Druchii.
Malekith was born the son of the Pheonix King Aenarion, and in his heart was a brave elf that was longing to assist his people in whatever way that he could. His searching for power and dominence and honor amongst his people led him to travel throughout the colonies of Atmer and fighting against many different enemies. His victories led him to become loved by the people of Atmer, and in this love he would become somewhat arrogant in his own powers and this led him to attack the forces of Chaos that were assaulting the Atmer colonies in Nord America. After having a series of victories against the Chaos forces he was beaten by a chaos demi god who captured him and took him in chains to the northern Chaos Wastes. Malekith would be left in a cage for decades as he watched the horrifying nature of the surrounding areas of the Chaos Wastes, but his elven nature meant he wasn't corupted as easily as a human would have been. As decades past the Dark Chaos God Slanaash finally revealed himself as the creater of the plot to capture him, and Slanaash would spend decades whispering to Malekith, and finally after decades of coruption the prince of Ulthuan fell to Slanaash's control. As he travelled the world again gaining glorly and wealth his younger brother Caledor who was born to a different mother then his own would become very popular in the courts of Ulthuan, and this popularity was leading to talk of him being named the next Pheonix King. Thus when his father did die he was beyond shocked that he was passed over, and he became easy prey to his mother of whom was the leader of the Cult of Pleasure and a growing number of the new Dark Elves. His coruption was a simple matter as Slanaash already had ahold of him, and thus he returned to Ulthuan and bid his brother give him more power or else. Following the Civil War he would fortify his position in Nord America and bide his time hiding there until finally he was seen again when he landed in France. Landing in France his followers dressed as High Elves and would massacre convoys of Dwarves which eventually led to the War of Beards. With the Elves fully embroiled in the War of Beards he launched a massive invasion of Ulthuan, and was nearly victorious until the Elves rallied behind several heroes and pushed them back from Ulthuan defeating him once again.

Malekith is the son of the legendary Aenarion and of his second wife Morathi. He was born and raised in Nagarythe, and many believe that his childhood traumatised him as his father's court was a bitter and savage place, and this made him the target of Slanaash over his younger brother Caledor. His searching for power and dominence and honor amongst his people led him to travel throughout the colonies of Atmer and fighting against many different enemies. His victories led him to become loved by the people of Atmer, and in this love he would become somewhat arrogant in his own powers and this led him to attack the forces of Chaos that were assaulting the Atmer colonies in Nord America.
Coruption[]
After having a series of victories against the Chaos forces he was beaten by a chaos demi god who captured him and took him in chains to the northern Chaos Wastes. Malekith would be left in a cage for decades as he watched the horrifying nature of the surrounding areas of the Chaos Wastes, but his elven nature meant he wasn't corupted as easily as a human would have been. As decades past the Dark Chaos God Slanaash finally revealed himself as the creater of the plot to capture him, and Slanaash would spend decades whispering to Malekith, and finally after decades of coruption the prince of Ulthuan fell to Slanaash's control. Not knowing that he was curupted Malekith would be given the chance to escape, and believing he had fought his way out of the wastes he returned to Ulthuan where there were parades, and great celebrations that the son of Aenarion had returned. While he felt fine, his coruption meant that he would be possessed by Slanaash and this led to him slowly corupting his mother Morathi while he knew nothing about it. As his mother fell into darkness, he returned to travelling the world as he had before in search of glory, and biding his time waiting for his turn as Pheonix king which ceremony dictated would be his.

As he travelled the world again gaining glorly and wealth his younger brother Caledor who was born to a different mother then his own would become very popular in the courts of Ulthuan, and this popularity was leading to talk of him being named the next Pheonix King. Thus when his father did die he was beyond shocked that he was passed over, and he became easy prey to his mother of whom was the leader of the Cult of Pleasure and a growing number of the new Dark Elves. His coruption was a simple matter as Slanaash already had ahold of him, and thus he returned to Ulthuan and bid his brother give him more power or else. His brother was a prideful elf and was insulted that Malekith would bid him to do anything, and thus insulted Malekith by making him lord of the Island of Bones. The island was the smallest holding that gave the title of prince, and was beyond insulting and thus Malekith left Ulthuan and returned to France where he fought against Trollocs and gained more fame after founding several cities, and fortifying the Elven holdings in France. Returning to Ulthuan a second time wanting more power his brother was forced into giving him something real, but still chose to insult Malekith by giving him the weakest of the real provinces when he gave him Lordship of Nord America. This was the last straw for Malekith who outwardly accepted this but inside he wanted his brother dead, and he wanted the throne.

Emperor of Druchii
According to birthright, Malekith, son of the first Phoenix King Aenarion a member of the House of Aestarion, and an Elven enchantress called Morathi born of the House of Beren, was the rightful successor to the throne of Ulthuan. But when Aenarion Aestarion died, the ruling Council of Princes decided that Malekith was too impetuous and warlike, as Aenarion had led the Elves through a great war and the population was extremely weary of conflict. Declaring that Malekith was not fit to rule, they selected another to sit on the throne - Bel Shanaar Elwe the prince of Tiranoc, a member of the House of Elwe, and a hero of the war. Malekith was instead given the rank of High General and supreme commander of the armies. This suited him well, as he was an outstanding warrior and peerless general, just as his father was. During his time in the army he wandered the globe, and with his mother's guidance, started experimenting with Dark Magic. After some time, Malekith became discontent. In his mind the Elves must be a warlike people to face the ever-growing menace from the forces of Chaos. He became increasingly critical of the Princes, who grew soft and complacent under the protection of his armies. Worse yet, the Cult of Pleasure, a society of poets and artists, founded by Morathi herself, turned out to be a Cult of Slanaash. Their practices were taking root in Elf society, being particularly strong in Nagarythe. Upon hearing of this, Malekith took personal command of the investigation and used this power to eliminate his political enemies, accusing them falsely of being cultists and executing them without trial. It was then that Malekith saw his chance to seize his birthright. He claimed Bel-Shanaar was a worshipper of Slaanesh. Soon after the accusation, Bel-Shanaar died of poisoning. Those loyal to the Council accused Malekith of assassination. Those loyal to Malekith claimed Bel-Shanaar committed suicide out of shame. The argument between Malekith and the Council of Princes turned violent, and Malekith and his followers killed most of the Princes, claiming to save Ulthuan. Now the Council was destroyed, Malekith had only to pass through the Sacred Fire of Asuryan, king of the Elven Gods. He stepped forwards, confident he would pass the ordeal just as his father did. Yet the Sacred Flame burned him, scarring him horrifically. His followers claimed treachery - that the fires must have been corrupted by magic to reject even the rightful heir. They fled back to the province of Nagarythe, and in confusion over the death of their king and council, the High Elves (comprised of the other Kingdoms of Ulthuan, and a small body of resistance in Nagarythe which would later become the Shadow Warriors) did not pursue. Near death, Malekith was taken to one of his mother's temples. His body had healed sufficiently, but his mind was destroyed beyond repair and he had gone insane. He knew of the need to lead his followers into battle against the High Elves, but also knew his withered body would not survive the battle. Morathi called upon Hotek, a renegade priest of Vaul, to forge the Armour of Midnight, a suit of armour that would give life and strength to Malekith's flame-ravaged body. The armour fused directly to his skin, forming a sorcerous shell granting him immense supernatural powers. From that day forth, Malekith was known as the "Witch King", for he truly had become a figure of dread. Once healed, Malekith was consumed with a bitter hatred for those who has resisted him . He summoned those Elves who were loyal to him to aid him in taking the throne by force. This included a large part of the standing military, most of his home province of Nagarythe and many other Elves throughout Ulthuan who believed in Malekith's cause. |

Second Atmer Invasion of Nord America[]
Following the assassination of Aethis Finarfin, and the subsequent defeat of the Second Cult of Pleasure rebellion on Ulthuan by the new Pheonix King Morvael Haleth the forces of the Atmer Empire would launch a massive invasion of the Druchii in Nord America targeting Clar Karond for destruction.

Second Battle of Clar Karond[]
The besieged city of Clar Karond continued to hold out, but the siege would end when the full strength of the Druchii would arrive led by Malekith Beren the Witch King himself and in a titanic battle the Elves and Dark Elves fought for the outcome of the entire invasion. Following the Elven defeat at Clar Karond most of their army lay dead or had been taken prisoner with only thirty percent of the army able to retreat under the command of Morvael Haleth back to Arnheim where they awaited the counter attack of the Druchii. Among those captured was one of the top generals of the army in the form of Fimben Haleth of whom was the nephew of the Pheonix King Morvael Haleth and his capture by Reliana Dagorth would lead to a centuries long series of events far more reaching then the battle itself. |
Invasion of Ulthuan[]
Following the Atmer defeat the forces of the Druchii led by Malekith launch a massive invasion of Ulthuan which leads to the fall of much of northern Ulthuan, until the appointment of Menethus Aestarion led to the several disastrous defeats for the Druchii. So costly was this war that before the final Battle of Anlec the emotionally devastated Phoenix King Morvael Haleth committed suicide believing the High Elves would lose the battle, but despite this they won victory driving the Druchii from Ulthuan.
