Minrathous is a vast city in the Empire of Tevinter of which is one of the largest cities of Europe and a lasting memory of the once splendor of the Empire of Numeron of whom founded the city. Minrathous stands as the capital of the Tevinter Empire as well as the capital of the Realm of Rivain of which makes it by far the most important and influencial city in the Tevinter Empire and the region. Minrathous is dominated by the Atlantians of whom are the massive majority of the population and have an historical hold over the land that has been stonger then many of the other Central European Atlantian lands which have become decimated over the years.
Minrathous was first founded by the Empire of Numeron as the site of their northern provinces of Thedia and would grow exponentionally as the site of the city led to population and economy flooding into the area.
