Misha Bolten is the daughter of Reznik Bolten, and Lysa Tully making her a member of House Tully through her mother, and a member of House Bolten through her father. Misha Bolten has one sibling in the form of Mika Bolten of whome is a powerful knight who controls the Castle Naprine, and is in command of the army of Bolten that is engaging the Kingdom of Gondor in the far east. During Westros Misha Bolten was married to Justin Cole due to Roose Bolten wanting to force Justin to remain in Dreadfort and not be pulled back to Deephome.

Misha Bolten was born in the town of Dreadfort , and she watched silently as her brother Mika was given castles, and immense wealth for being born, and instead of being showered with gifts she was neglected by her parents. Since she was a girl her parents did not regard her as someone as important as her brother Mika, and in this neglect she chose to not rebel and simply tried harder to get their attention, but none of this made any difference and so she turned to religion to cure her depression. She read the Dragon Book, and did not find the anwers that she sought, and following this she read the Great Book of Sigmar and found nothing but anger, and violence in that book. Close to despair she happened to see a Bible at the local market, and she purchased the bible without question, and read it from cover to cover finding all the anwsers she believed she needed. As she settled into her new found religion she watched as her body changed in front of her and as the years moved on she became more and more beautiful which finally brought about the attention of her parents. Her parents now sought her out for political marriages, and political sexual behavior as well, but she refused many of these believing the men to be unsavory for marriage and for sure refusing sex before marriage. In the Rise of Lucerne she was finally paired off, and accepted a marriage to Justin Cole of House Cole. Misha Bolten would marry Justin Cole in Dreadfort, and despite promices that they would be able to leave after the marriage to return to the lands of House Cole the pair would be on a some what house arrest in Dreadfort following what Roose believed was the failure of House Cole to assist the forces of Bolten. Misha would come to protect Justin during this time as he was treated quite poorly by the Boltens in Dreadfort, and the members of House Cole who had been in Dreadfort and under the alliagance of John Bolten. In this the two would come to have a growing affection for eachother, and days before Ramsey pushed for the attack on the west they would be intimate for the first time. As the conflict rose Misha would intercept a letter meant for Justin in which stated in somewhat code that Justin was to escape Dreadfort by any means as House Cole was done following the madness of the Boltens. The loyalty she felt for her uncle Roose would lead her to ignore the love she held for Justin when she went to give the letter to her uncle. As she tried to tell her uncle her cousin Ramsey would barge in on the meeting and insult Misha, and basically refuse to let her speak. Seeing nothing in her uncles eyes that told her he was the man she remembered she would leave and return to Justin where she told him what she had planned to do and begged him to forgive her. Justin was mad but realized why she did it, and was able to forgive her as he tried to plan their escape from Dreadfort.
