One does not simply walk into Mordor. It's black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the power of Sauron is ever watchful. It is a barren wastland, riddled with fire and ash and dust. The very air you breathe is a nearly poisonous fume
Unknown Scribe during the Gondor Civil War

The Empire of Mordor is a truly massive Empire that lies within the Mordor Mountain range and is the personal realm of the Dark Lord Sauron. It resides directly east of Gondor, and stretches as Northward as Westros, and as far east as the lands of Harad, and southward to the coasts due to its control of Umbar. The Realm is surrounded by mountains on three sides and the only entrance is through the Black Gate in the north and the dark city of Minus Morgal in the west. The capital of Barad-dur is located in central Mordor and is said to be the tallest tower in Europe, and one of the most massive fortresses within the continent. The Empire of Mordor is a center of evil in Europe, and is a source of much of the conflict for the Kingdoms and realms surrounding it. Its tendrils move eastward into Croatia, while also going as far south as Italy.

The absolute leader of Mordor, is the evil Sauron. He rules with an absolute fist, and any order he puts forth is brutally followed to the letter. Sauron is not questioned, and even if his orders are suicidal they are followed by his commanders to the letter lest they find themselves in the endless dungeons of Mordor.

Mordor is dominated religiously by the One Eye of Sauron which is controlled from Mordor by the Great Mordor Temple of the Eye of which controls the religious followers of the Empire, and also works tirelessly to damage other religions that attempt to rise within the Empire. While the One Eye of Sauron is the only religion that is legally allowed in the Empire of Mordor the client states of Mordor have varying degrees of adherence to this legality with Christianity, Dragonoph, and many other religions holding sway in the client states.

Mordor is defended on three sides by two unassailable mountain ranges: the Ash Mountains in the North and the Shadowy Mountains in the West and South. Through these mountains, there appeared to only have been two passes: Cirith Ungol in the west and Cirith Gorgor in the North West. Besides the small circular plain called Udun inside Cirith Gorgor, Mordors two major regions where the plateau of Gorgoroth and the slave fields of Nurn. Gorgoroth was a vast dreary plateau of slag heaps and Orc pits always under the pal of smoke from the volcanic mountain of Ordoriun (or Mount Doom) near its center. Here too: on the North East side of the plateau was a spur of the Ash Mountains, was Sauron's stronghold, the dark tower of Barad-Dur. Nurn, however, was a vast farmland populated by slave and slave drivers who suypplied the massive foods and basic materials for Saurons armies. Nurn was drained by four rivers, and each flowed into the inland sea of Nurnen.

Mordor was founded following the arrival of Sauron into its dark mountain range, and following this the once quiet and tranquil mountains burned with the fire of his malice. Orcs would be brought it and become a staple of the region due to their extreme numbers within Mordor where they would assist Sauron in construction the Empire of Mordor and its cities. Mordor would through espionage and manipulation destroy the Empire of Numeron from within, and they believed that without Numeron the rest of Europe would fall easily, but instead the humans dug in, and Mordor was forced to fight a fortified Gondor that held the only means out of Mordor other then in the north and east. Mordor would once again manipulate to their advantage when they turned Umbar, Dol Amroth, and Isengard into leaving the Kingdom of Gondor and instigating the massive Gondor Civil War. During this war they would lose huge numbers but also they would annihilate much of the population of Gondor. Following the Gondor Civil War the forces of Mordor would prepare for many years to assault Gondor once again, but when they got to the point that they were ready they were attacked by the Arakhora of the Empire of Kandor. Mordor would become heavily bogged down in a grueling and devastating conflict against the Arakhora that spilled into Harad and forced the forces of Mordor to ignore Gondor with most of their forces and deal with Kandor. Mordor would be heavily assaulted by a suprise attack by the forces of the kingdom of lucerne, High Forest, and Gondor which expelled the forces of Mordor from Gondor and closed the gap of mordor to them. During Westros the forces of Mordor are silently going to have to worry about Harad as the King's of Harad have become revealed as being no longer corupted by Sauron and have been working behind the scenes to get themselves independence and to damage Mordor for what they have done to them. In the first POV chapter in Harad we see the destruction of a truly massive Mordor army that is destroyed by rebels within the province of Harad.

Geography

Main Article : Mordor (Region)

Mordor is protected from four sides by mountain ranges, arranged roughly rectangularly: Ered Lithui in the north, Ephel Dúath in the west, and an unnamed (or possibly still called Ephel Dúath) range in the south, and Medre Duel in the east. A narrow pass led through Ephel Dúath and the fortress of Minas Morgul (earlier Minas Ithil) was guarding that; an even more difficult pass was guarded by the giant spider Shelob and the fortress of Cirith Ungol.

In the northwest corner of Mordor the deep valley of Udûn was the only entrance for large armies, and that is where Sauron built the Black Gate of Mordor. In front of the Morannon lay the Dagorlad or the Battle Plain. Sauron's main fortress Barad-dûr was at the foothills of Ered Lithui. To southwest of Barad-dûr lay the arid plateau of Gorgoroth and Mount Doom; to the east lay the plain of Lithlad. The land in the western parts of Mordor were largely infertile, producing only sparse brambles.

The southern part of Mordor, Nurn, was slightly more fertile, and moist enough to carry the inland sea of Núrnen. Nurn was made somewhat fertile because the ash blown from Mount Doom left its soil nutrient rich, thus allowing dry-land farming. Unfortunately, the inland sea of Núrn was salty, not freshwater.

History

Early History

Rise of Sauron

Rise of the Dark Lord
He rose to promince amid the ruins of the Numenorians. Hiding in their rotten corpse noone noticed as he corupted everything around him.
Sauron2
I met him once. He was in jail for butchering some town in western Africanas. I remember thinking that I was looking at a dead mean with the evidence against him. I guess I was wrong.
Fingolfin Feanor

With the knowledge of what he was, he now lost all traces of Velkan, and became what his evil father wished him to become in a tool of Evil. Changing his name to Sauron he wandered the Earth for hundreds honing his abilities attempting to find a way to become greater then his father. Travelling to far away Cathay he would hone his abilities for almost a hundred years before finally Malekor became enraged by the delays of Sauron and when he couldn't convinse Sauron himself Malekor sent his champion Morgoth down to Europe where he made Sauron understand that he needed to become greater now and to stop waiting for things. Returning to Europe he traveled to his ancient homeland of Palias where he would instigate a religious revolt in the city rallying the people of Palias to his side before moving north where he he discovered the Mountains of Mordor. Finally Sauron discovered the place that would become his fortress in the form of the fire wracked mountains of Mordor, and begin to set down roots in the land of which was controlled in part by the Empire of Numeron, but the Emperor of Numeron saw little economic possibility in Mordor and left it mainly in the control of a client state in the form of the Kingdom of Mordor. Arriving from the east into Mordor with his army of Palias he was able to trick the King of Mordor into allowing him in as a vassal of the Kingdom of Mordor and would settle in the lands of northern Mordor wherein he made great efforts to appear to be a loyal vassal, and with the freedom this provided he secretly had his forces build himself a great gateway deep in the mountains of Mount Doom, and from there he planned to teleport to the continent of Africanas. Before he could do this Sauron would begin the construction of the devices that would be responsible for the corruption and destruction of untold lives, and lands in the form of the Rings of Power.

Celebrimbor
Sauron understood that he needed a way into the minds of the Numenorians and so he devised the plan of creating devises that would corrupt individuals within the Numenorians and others into following him into darkness. Sauron understood the crafting of the devices but needed someone else to create them so that the world would take them and not believe they were being corrupted, At first he approached the Sindar Elves of the forests of Europe and in High Forest he was turned away, as he was in Athel Loren. He attempted to get the Dwarves to craft them but they barred him entrance. Finally Sauron had better luck with the Elven-smiths of Eregion to whom he presented under the alias of Annatar, an emissary from the High Elves. The Gwaith-i-Mírdain of Eregion were mostly High Elves and wished to have the same joys in their Kingdom as the Elves who had returned to Ulthuan had received, and with this in mind the Elves of Eregion started to make the Rings with knowledge gained from Annatar. The Rings were of various kinds: the lesser rings were only essays in the craft before it was full-grown. The Greater 16 were created, and the Elves of Eregion begin to send them throughout the world just as Sauron had convinced them to do, with some going to Elves, some going to Dwarves, and the ones meant for the humans were given to Annatar as a gift to him so that he could give them to the humans himself. When Annatar departed from Eregion, Celebrimbor Mirdrain went on to forge the Three Rings of the Elves using the knowledge he had gained from him, but without his involvement, and finished them around the time that Sauron begin crafting his own personal ring.
The One Ring

Main Article : The One Ring

The One Ring

The One Ring was created by the Dark Lord Sauron following his departure from Eregion in order to enlarge his own might by combining it with the power of the Elven smiths, and thus to give him control over the other Rings of Power, which had been made by Celebrimbor and his people with Sauron's assistance. Sauron forged the One Ring secretly in the fires of Mount Doom. His will was then inside a Ring that could control the other Rings. Thus, he was more powerful than ever before when he wore the Ring, but became much weaker when he lost it. Though it appeared to be made of simple gold, the Ring was virtually impervious to damage, and could only be destroyed by throwing it into the pit of the volcanic Mount Doom in which it had originally been forged. This Ring also basically meant that unless you destroyed the ring you could never truly kill Sauron because a piece of him was inside of the Ring and would never leave the world while the Ring still lived. With his means of corupting the humans of Europe in place he would decide on his next stage when he left Mordor through his portal into the lands of Africanas. When he arrived in Africanas he saw much of what he saw in Europe, in that Africanas too had Growing Kingdom of Humans and small groupings of other races. It was in the southwest of Africanas that he would discover the Orcs and with them he would find his foot soldiers.

Controlling the Orcs

Ancient Orcs of Mordor
The Orcs were a docile people. They had kept to themselves in the west of Africanas without real incident. Seeing them again in Mordor it was horrifying see the cost of dealing with Sauron.
Fingolfin Feanor

The Orcs at this point were not even close to becoming the massively powerful creatures they would one day become, and they were still all completely Ferel Orcs as the High Orcs had not yet risen and caused the expansion of the Orcish Race. In these mindless creatures Sauron saw something that he didn't think the humans would ever be able to show them in the Orcs lack of morals or ethics and their simple mindless ability to follow simple commands to the letter. So in this primitive state it was simple for Suaron to gain their loyalty through a series of kind acts and uplifting members of their tribes into positions of power and then causing these uplifted Orcs to become obsessed with him. As his control over these Orcs grew he begin moving many of these Sauron loyalist Orcs towards his great portal in Africanas and from here he told them of the greatness of his Empire and they fell in love with this idea. With their control now a done deal he was able to transport large numbers of these ancient Feral Orcs back to Mordor where he hid them in the eastern canyons of the mountain range and slowly built them into his own personal army.

Building Mordor
Barad-Dur
It wasn't always this bleak. There used to be light in Mordor.
Unknown Sribe

With his army expanding dramatically in number and organization Sauron would continue his corruption of the Numenorian client nation in the form of the Kingdom of Mordor of whom was ruled at the time by King Aedheld Nelya. Aedheld would reject Sauron's offering of a Ring of Power but dejected at first Sauron found a willing taker of the Ring of Power in the form of Aedheld's son Ulaire of whom took the Ring and was swiftly corrupted by Sauron. Using Ulaire he would take control of the Kingdom of Mordor causing a coup which wiped out the members of the Monarchy resistant to his rise, and with this in place he used Ulaire as a puppet on the throne of Mordor as he went about his real task which was to construct a capital from wherein he could conquer all of Mordor. With his holdings in eastern Mordor established Sauron begin setting them to work creating the massive fortress of Barad-Dur where he would create the centerpiece of the Empire he was building. The Mordor Orcs would grow quickly into a large army mainly in the canyons of the eastern parts of Mordor, and it was here that they begin to be noticed by the Empire of Numeron. Being noticed was exactly what Sauron wanted as he wanted to create a reason for the Numenorian expansion to stop moving eastward as he wanted time to grow, and at the same time he wanted to take control over Harad which would be difficult if they kept moving eastward. He used his massive powers and the untold thousands of Orcs now populating the Mordor region to quickly finish Barad-Dur and then with its creation he also created numerous fortresses, and towns throughout eastern Mordor which allowed for the creation of even more Mordor Orcs to the point that he knew he was ready for the Numenorians. He would begin by assaulting the Numenorian fortress of Tol-Durthang of which would be known by the Orcs as Durthang of which was the massive Numenorian fortress that was once meant to control the entire Mordor range but now simply blocked Sauron's advance westward. These attacks were shocking to the defenders of Tol-Durthang as until this point Sauron was still deemed to be a small player that controlled the Kingdom of Mordor but his control of the Orcs was something that none within the Numenorian government had come to fathom. Despite being outnumbered by a massive margin the Numenorian defenders were able to hold against the forces of Mordor but were weakened and thus called for assistance from the mainland.

Defence of Fingon Feanor

Feanor
Following this call for assistance the Empire of Numeron would arrive with a large army nearly two years after the completion of Barad-Dur and when they arrived it was the powerful High Elf Fingon Feanor that would be leading the army of Numeron alongside the Prince of Gondor in the form of Tur-Ilderion Elessar, and his younger brother Tar-Teldrion Elessar from House Elessar. Alongside the two princes of House Elessar would silently be the princess of Gondor in the form Ar-Erella Elessar of whom dawned the equipment of a regular man at arms and joined her beloved brothers in joining the fight, and her Magi control was something that she believed would be of great assistance. The arrival of Fingon, and Ilderion's army would lead to the end of the siege of Tol-Durthang with the Orcs, and forces of Mordor retreating back from Tol-Durthang out of sight of the fortress awaiting the movement of the Numenorian army. Fingon joined by all seven of his sons and the army of the Numenorians massed this force at the fortress of Tol-Durthang and from here he was able to spy the edges of the giant fortress of Barad-Dur of which the creation of was the main reason for the arrival of he and his army. Fingon was an ancient High Elf as he had been born on Ulthuan before the coming of Chaos so he was still a little arrogant about the power of the High Elves and thus he was prepared to quickly beat this pathetic race that resisted them and then take control of Mordor for the Empire of Numeron of whom he now swore loyalty too. As his army moved towards Barad-Dur they underwent nearly constant assaults from large groups of a strange green skinned race they knew to be denizens of Africanas, and these attacks caused large casualties to his army and the closer they got the more numerous these forces became. Fingon Feanor would never reach Barad-Dur as his army would be wiped out when Sauron himself came to the front of the Numenorian army and joined by his sister Flemeth, and thousands of Orcs surrounded his army and they proceeded to wipe them out. During the massacre three of the Nazgul in the form of Adunaphel the Wroth, Ulaire Nelya, and Isilmo would become known as they were introduced into the fight and showed themselves as nearly unbeatable combat leaders. Two of Fingon's sons were killed during the Battle and only a few dozen Numenorian survived the Battle including Fingon, and his five remaining sons. Fingon's only daughter Torthriel Feanor would be captured by the forces of Mordor and after being tortured for months she was finnally broken and was turned into a "Daughter of Flemeth". but also among the dead were the two princes of Gondor which was a major blow to House Elessar.
Ar-Erella Elessar Wide
Also during the massacre Erella Elessar would be captured after her Magi abilities were discovered by Flemeth and captured by Flemeth she was brought back to the Korcani Wilds where she would be tortured for years on end. Eventually her torture would end with her suicide and turning into a "Daughter of Flemeth" of which she became one of the earliest members of the Daughters of Flemeth. Fingon Feanor would remain in Tol-Durthang but forced his sons to return to Ulthuan while he remained for many years holding the fortress against the forces of Mordor, and during this time he would become completely discouraged by the turn of events as he would watch as Sauron destroyed the Empire of Numeron through the use of puppets and then a century late he watched as the successor Kingdom of Gondor abandoned Tol-Durthang for the more easily defended city of Minus Telif. With the abandonment of Tol-Durthang he would leave the Kingdom of Gondor and travel north where he created a farmstead in Denmark that he has lived in ever since not wishing to see his family after his failure. Also among those affected was Tari-Aurelian Titus of whom was captured during the fighting and was brought before the Dark Lord Sauron himself and while his low status was too low to offer him a ring of power Aurelian would be corrupted by the words of Sauron and became a Black Numenorian before returning to the ranks of his family in Gondor where he lied stating he had escaped and his overjoyed family did little to question him trusting him wholly.

War on Gondor

Gondor Civil War

The End of the Line

Main Article : Battle of Narvine Fields

The End of the Gondor Civil War
They will not sit idle after our victories in Cair Andros and Ethring. We need to move quickly if we are to end this conflict. We need to look at this map and force their hand in a single fight. Force them to attack where we want them to.
Gondor Civil War2
This was the moment where it shifted. I couldn't see it then, but looking back I know that was the moment they lost.
Aragorn Elessar II.

The War would finally come to an end when the forces of Mordor and Umbar would team up to attack the Gondorian Fortress of Narvine. The forces of Mordor were reeling from the miraculous defense of Cair Andros, and before this the utter defeat of the Umbar forces attempting to destroy House Mason at Ethring. The Mordor forces begin to regroup around Minus Morgal and prepared to move once again into Gondor this time they were led by the Witch King and their force was massive along the lines of the original armies attacking throughout the land. The Gondor scouts were especially well alert during the early movements and because of this the Gondorian army was able to arrive in Narvine a day before the Mordor, and Umbar armies did, and this turned the battle into more of a siege.

The Prelude
Tar-Vislan
Two victories are far better then two losses but let us be honest about the situation. They have to massive armies of which we have to deal with but the real problem is closing the gap of Minas Morgal. If it remains open they will just send more men through. We need to close that gap.
Aragorn Elessar II.

The fortress was the main backbone of the eastern Gondorian defences and for this reason it was especially well prepared for the attack that everyone knew was inevitable. Before the Battle had begun the fortress had its command handed over to the twin brothers Tar-Arannoa Ellesar, and Tar-Vislen Elessar of whom brought a large force of Tower gaurds of whome were not foreseen by the forces of Mordor as they moved within. The forces of Mordor were at first moving against Minus Ithil but they discovered the fortress was heavily defended by two of the Numenorian commanders in the form of Tur-Halbaard Elessar, and Edrion Elessar thus the forces of Mordor used a large Orc force to besiege Minus Ithil while they moved the total force southwards towards Narvine in a move that would cut off the main Gondor force in the south from the rest of Gondor. As the force from Mordor moved south the main thrust of Umbar moved northward towards the main Gondor Force at Ethring which forced the main force to remain in place. King Arathorn Elessar understood that the forces of Gondor were completely surrounded in the south but with the army in the north in tatters following the defence of Cair Andros, and the central army still stuck fighting against the army of Sarauman in Osgiliath and besieged in Minus Ithil he had no choice but to attempt to defeat the Umbar force once and for all.

The Siege Begins
Siege of Narvine

The Army of Mordor moved quickly against the forces at Narvine as they were determined to take the fortress and quickly trap the rest of the Gondor Army around Ethring where they would be picked apart and destroyed. Led by the Witch King the army of nearly three hundred thousand attacked the fortress nestled into the hills which had a defence army of little over sixty thousand and was weakened from nearly two years of fighting. The seige begin quickly with the forces of Mordor swarming at the walls in huge numbers which had little hope of defeating the defenders but each night this continued which made the defenders weaker and weaker. After three days of fighting the forces of Mordor had lost almost seventy five thousand to the defenders but the defenders were down some ten thousand dead while another fifteen thousand were wounded. While the defenders awaited the fourth day and the coming of their eventual fall the situation in Ethring changed dramatically.

Massacre at Barfurd
Castamir and Vastamir Bedroog

Along the Umbar front the forces of Gondor were opposed by the massive army of Umbar of which was situated in the large city of Barfurd. The Umbar army was very large but at the same time they were led by the brother of Castamir Bedroog in Vastamir Bedroog of whome was a skilled but inexperianced leader. Arathorn saw that his Kingdom was going to fall unless he changed things dramatically and thus he created a plan where a large force of Gondor Cavalary would move eastward around the border with Umbar through the mountain passes there and move to the east of the Umbar army unaware. The sentries along the Umbar border were massive as Castamir had drilled his brother to death that he needed to be careful about ambushes, but the mountain path was so inaccesable and far away from the front that there were very few sentries there and what few were there were of little skill and even less prepared. The Cavalry moved quickly and was able to destroy the few scouts in the mountain pass and arrived on the eastern swamps of Barfurd four days after they had left. With their arrival Arathorn moved the entire Gondor force southward and provoked the Umbar army into action by massacring the scouts located along the border and thus at the same time bliding the Umbar forces to their movement. Vastamir sent word to his brother who told him that he would move a relief force to Barfurd and that Vastamir would not move until he arrived. Vastamir was prepared to follow this but Arathorn begin using scouts to taunt the defenders and Vastamir suffered insults from his commanders which forced him to make the rash decision to move the Umbar army north in order to defeat Arathorn.

Massacre of Barfurd

The moment the Umbar army moved north Castamir got word and moved his force quicker to the location but he was a week away and had no real hope of arriving in time. Vastamir led the forces north and despite whispers from his commanders that they had little knowledge of what they were facing he continued north due to the fact that he was heavily influenced by several rash commanders within his retinue. As he moved north he was shadowed by the ten thousand cavalry of the Gondor force of whome moved in behind and to the eastern side of him in preperation for the coming Battle. As the two sides engaged in Battle the Gondorians did not make any attempt to be agressive and the Umbar forces assumed this was because they were so much more numerous and they doubled their attack. As the entire Umbar force was engaged the cavalry moved into the Battle and hit the unprepared Umbar forces in the rear and side. As Vastamir realized the mistake he made he charged forward in the hopes of defeating Arathorn before his forces were completely massacred. He would make his way to Arathorn who was heading for him and the two would duel and when the dust settled Vastamir lay dead along with the entire army of Umbar. Following this victory the forces of Gondor moved relatively undamaged northward towards the Battle of Narvine and the forces of Mordor were completely unaware of this movement.

The End of the Siege
Duel at Narvine
My came to me the night before the battle. He had a look of such confidence that when the words tumbled out of his mouth speaking of his fears I could barely recognize him as speaking them. My father had always carried himself with an almost arrogant confidence, so to see him speak with fear was a jarring experience.
Aragorn Elessar II.

The fourth day of the Siege of Narvine would come and as was the case everyday the forces of Mordor moved against the city but this time they were in trouble as the main Gondor force was watching from the hills nearbye and was awaiting this attack. During the enseuing siege the Gondor Army under Arathorn moved north towards the seige and hit the rear of the attacking force. Isilmo was in the skies overhead and was the first to see the attackers, and this was followed shortly after by the Witch King of whome both attempted to shift there forces but realized quickly that the army was far to invested in the siege to turn completely and they watched as a massive melee ensued between the Gondor forces and the now completely surrounded Mordor army of which started to turn into a massacre. As this happened the Witch King and Isilmo landed at the heart of the Gondor army and begin to fight at the center. There presence caused great fear and nearly routed the Gondorians until Arathorn and his son Aragorn arrived on the scene and engaged them in battle. During this ensueing conflict Arathron would be struck down along with his second in command in Malvo Openias and all hope seemed lost until Aragorn stepped forward and fought him. While they fought his uncle was killed by Isilmo but was then forced to pull back after Tar-Vislan defeated him and nearly killed his Wraith. With the Mordor force nearly completely massacred the Witch King looked around and realized that he was completely surrounded and thus pulled back leaving the field completely in Gondor's hands. With the defeat of this force the forces of Mordor no longer had the forces capable of winning the conflict and Sauron watching his army in near defeat ordered the general retreat from Gondor's lands of which the final force to leave was Sarauman of whome was harried by Gandalf their entire time leaving.

Taraban Civil War

The Coup of Taraban
I killed my entire family daughter. Only you and your brothers were left when my vengeance was done.
Faw-Liazh Theirin Wide
What I did wasn't personal. My faith drove me.
Faw-Liazh Theirin

Following his return from Gondor his beloved Ol-Selise Theirin would die during childbirth and this emotionally devestated Loghair to the point that he was easy picking for his wife Liazh of whom by this point was a staunch believer in the One Eye of Sauron and this led to him joining the Mordor movement in Taraban as its figurehead and leader. Loghair would eventually discover that no matter what he did his father's culling of the Mordor influences in Taraban had led to the One Eye movement being severely weakened and thus he changed their plans and instead decided to simply remove his family of whom by this point his wife had convinced him had poisoned Selise while he had been away, and thus with his new plan in place he begin sneaking agents of Mordor into Taraban for what would become a very blood coup.

Persuasion

Fuh-Anora Theirin
You were tricked my neice. Your mother was beloved by my father. Look to my journal. That journal dictates my attempt under the order of my father to find out what happened to your mother. Do you know what I discovered. It was Liazh. All of this has been Liazh.
Har-Lohthan Theirin II.

While it was Rurzh-Loghair Theirin that had first suffered the manipulation of Liazh Theirin it would be Selise's daughter that would became the most important target, as Anora would alongside her father remain devastated by the death of her mother and in this depression she also became the target of Faw-Liazh Theirin of whom would come to treat Anora as a daughter for the first time. Using Anora's sadness she became the influence of the extremely dangerous Anora who was then tricked by her step mother into believing the death of her mother was the action of the royal family and she would support her father in his coup against their own family. During this time it was the Gondorian loyalists that were also attempting to discover who had murdered the dire hard Gondor loyalist in Selise, and in this action they would make a major mistake when they trusted Cailin Theirin. Rur-Cailin Theirin would take part in the Coup of Taraban when he was trusted by his half brother Deleyr and told important information about the movements of the loyalist forces, and despite loving his brother he betrayed him turning over this information to his mother leading to the massive speeding up of the Taraban Coup.

Your brother here is a part of the Gondor assasins that murdered your mother. Do you understand what that means? Your brother had betrayed you.
Faw-Liazh Theirin

As the coup reached the point where it was going to be launched certain elements within the family begin to catch on that something was afoot and most notable of these people was Rur-Deleyr Theirin of whom overheard his mother talking about the coming coup, and then made the mistake in confiding in Fuh-Anora Theirin about what he heard. Anora was so much in the throws of vengeance, and also knew about the coup so would lie to her brother and told him that she would tell their grandfather the king, but instead took this information and gave it over to Liazh of whom manipulated Anora into believing that Deleyr was a major conspirator in the Gondorian loyalist movement. Coming to believe this Anora would be ordered to kill Deleyrn but going to kill him she would be unable to kill the closest remaining member of her family and instead had her men drug him and then put him into the dungeon of Armenelos but told Liazh that he was dead.

Bloody Coup

Lohthan Theirin would be murdered by his son Lohgain of whom had been manipulated into believing that Lohthan had murdered his mistress, and despite attempting to talk his son down during their confrontation the emotionally shattered Lohgain would not listen to reason and killed Lohthan as well as much of House Theirin.

The Truth

During the coup of Taraban Anora would be sent with a force of twenty men to the fortress of Dur-Armentol where she was to assassinate her uncle Lohthan Theirin II. and his family and upon arriving she would fatally wound him but he revealed before his death the truth of what was going on and believing his story she assisted her aunt Delissa in keeping her cousin alive of whom she would sneak from the massacre and hide. Also realizing at this time that she had allowed her step mothers manipulation to allow her to betray her brother Deleyrn her hatred brimmed and she immediately begin plotting to also assist in getting Deleyrn out of his imprisonment.

Mordor would be heavily assaulted by a suprise attack by the forces of the kingdom of lucerne, High Forest, and Gondor which expelled the forces of Mordor from Gondor and closed the gap of mordor to them.

Modern Day

At present the dark empire of Mordor is engaged in a two front war with Gondor on one side and Kandor on the other. While the war against Gondor is going very well, the numberless hordes of the Kandor are a difficult opponent, and Kandor has the upper hand.

Goverment

Since Mordor is split into two and perhaps three parts the commanders are taken from each of these areas. The first is Mordor itself, and the overall commanders here are the Nazgul, with the frontline commanders being members of the Mordor Orcs. The second element is the Harad region, and the commanders here are taken from the Harad people themselves, although they are watched like hawks by the Nazgul who exist in Dol Guldur. The third is the eastern provinces where the Kingdom of Taraban, and others exist and these rule themselves nominally independantly but the truth is that they are constantly garrisoned by heavy amounts of Mordor Orcs to maintain control.

Dark Lord

The absolute leader of the Empire of Mordor, is the evil Lord Sauron of whom rules with an absolute fist, and any order he puts forth is brutally followed to the letter. Sauron is not questioned, and even if his orders are suicidal they are followed by his commanders to the letter lest they find themselves in the endless dungeons of Mordor, or hunted by one of the multitude of loyal commanders of Sauron that follow his words to the letter.

Sauron3

Sauron or "The Great Evil" is the Dark Lord of Mordor, and one of the principle Lords of the Dark Chaos Lord Malekor. He is responsible for much of the darkness that now spreads throughout the world through the different evil acts he has caused throughout his life. He caused the Downfall of Numeron which ended the largest and most influencial Human Kingdom in history, and through his guidence the Orcs are spreading at an alarming rate. He also is in a control position with two Human Kingdoms (Umbar, The Easterlings Kingdom of Rhun) who have fallen to darkness.

Sauron was created by the Dark Chaos God Malekor after he realized that in order for this plans on Earth to come to pass he would need someone with great strategic depth to his mind. The only son of the Evil God Malekor he was once a noble man, but Malekor would intervene and cause him to have terribly violent dreams which led to him seeing Malekor's other child in his sister Flemeth of whome told him of his birth. He slowly lost his mind as the knowledge of what he was began to become aware to him and this would lead to him leading a dark Mercenary army across the Empire of Numeron during their time on Atlantis. This evil was opened when Malekor once again entered his life and used his superior skills to intervene against Sauron and turned him completely to his way of thinking. Sauron would build the Empire of Mordor while at the same time converting many of the Numenorians into his alliance and causing the Downfall of Numeron. Following the Downfall of Numeron he would do many things of which his destruction of much of the Kingdom of Gondor would be the most well known but he was also responsible for the birth of his first and only son in Nagash of whome he gave commands to destroy the Man God Jesus of which would change the course of human history.

Sauron is not truly the ruler of his plans, and he is constantly given tasks by his true master in Malekor. Sauron is one of very few living men who knows what the final plan of Malekor is, and even he is probably been told lies, in order to follow the plan.

The Black Council

Due to his fear of destruction he sends much of his commands, and trusts their implementation throughout the Empire of Mordor to his commanders called the Black Council. The first element of the Black Council is the Nazgul of whom are his top tier of commanders in the form of ancient kings, and leaders of men that were corrupted by his rings of power into serving him without question. The second element of the Triarch is the Black Hand of Mordor of whom are the command tier of diplomats, and governors for the different kingdoms, and client states within the Empire of Mordor. The Third element of the Triarch is the Cult of the Eye of which is the leadership of the Sauron aligned religion venerating him as a God.

The Nine Riders of Mordor

Main Article : Nazgul

They were once Men. Great kings of Men. Then Sauron the Deceiver gave to them Nine Rings of Power. Blinded by their greed, they took them without question. One by one, falling into darkness. They are the Nazgûl. Ringwraiths, neither living nor dead.
Aragorn Elessar II.

The Nazgul  or "The Nine Riders of Mordor" are the dark servents ofSauron, and in this position are some of the most important members of the Empire of Mordor. The Nazgul were once great men of Europe, and Atlantis but slowly through the coruption of Sauron they came to become his top level of commanders. The Nazgul are given command over the different provinces of Mordor, and they are also field commanders where there sight alone instills fear and hopelessness in their enemies and many of the same emotions in their own forces.

The Nazgûl were great Kings of Men who were seduced by the manipulation of the Dark Lord Sauron through promices of power, wealth in some cases while in others they were tricked. Once the member had been completely seduced by the words of Sauron he gives them a ring of power. After many years the effect of the rings left the kings spectral, invisible to all but Sauron and whomever wore the One. They traveled abroad in black cloaks and hauberks of silver mail which gave them form, and this makes them without a doubt some of the most dangerous monsters in all of Europe.

Geography

Mordor

Mordor4

Mordor was defended on three sides by two unassailable mountain ranges: the Ash Mountains in the North and the Shadowy Mountains in the West and South. Gorgoroth was a vast dreary plateau of slag heaps and Orc pits always under the pal of smoke from the volcanic mountain of Ordoriun (or Mount Doom) near its centre.

Mordor Dovah

The Mordor Dovah are the mutated remnants of the Twilight Dragonflight which being bred by the captured Dovah Aspect Smaug have become a twisted version of their former self. The Mordor Dovah have no access to the Draconic Network leaving them almost entirely feral unlike the high intellect of the other Dragonflights. Smaug has through sheer magi killed all Dovah he spawns leaving herself as the only breeder capable of creating more Davah and thus stopped the Mordor Dovah from becoming anything more then the mounts of powerful warlords and the Nazgul.
