Morrigan is a "daughter" of Flemeth, and thus a loyal servent of the Korcani Wilds, and before this was known as Andrea Lovie making her a member of House Lovie. Her actual birth parents are members of House Lovie and it was for this reason that Flemeth would capture her to use for later. Her father loved her deeply and her death had a dramatic effect on him during his later years and her death also was one of the reasons for John Lovie's fall. She has become romantically linked with Lucas Scott during her return to Lucerne and her abilities mean that she makes a very dangerous oponenet for Peyton Sawyer of whome is also after Lucas Scott. |

− | Andrea Lovie was born the youngest child of William Lovie and was born following the annexation of Stormwind which basically signaled the completetion of William Lovie's Kingdom of Lucerne. During her youth she was beloved by everyone she knew, and her father especially adored her and her kindness. She grew close to her father's dragon Stragnarax, and this relationship would become one of the great stories of the Kingdom. As the only girl born of House Lovie at the time she was noticed by Flemeth and she immediatly went about planning her demise through the use of the Man of Fear. She was sent to the Kingdom of Lucerne following her continued dreaming of her former family, and in this station she would be commanded to get close to the young king in Bill Lovie of whom Flemeth told her was teetering on the edge of greatness, and madness. Gaining a large amount of influence over the young king she is so influencial that she is on his council during the War in France and joins him during the massacre, but on the journey into France she is met for the first time by the Noble Titan. This task provided problems for her, and with her position in the Circle of Magi leading her out of the Kingdom, it took her some time before she was able to return to Lucerne, but she would when the Circle of Magi tricked Orcs into entering the Valley of Lucerne wiping out the city of Tree Hill. She was appraoched for the second time by the Titan Odin of whom wiped some more of her coruption to the point that she would grow independant enough to gain affection for Lucas Scott as well as keeping the city from destruction by tricking Jurden Hardaxe. She senced the coming destruction of the Orcs and knew that if she was close to William then Flemeth would have her kill him, so instead she would abandon Tree Hill and travel back to the Korcani Wilds and lied to Flemeth of whom didn't even believe she could be lied to so took her word. Spending time there she returned to Lucerne, and in order to gain influence again she showed her powers to Khadgar in an effort to join the Order of the Blue Dragon, and he was impressed enough to make her an Azure's Lord in the Order. In this position she continues to fiegn affection and love for Lucas Scott, and took it so that she would have something to do other then just obsess over him. Following her coruption of Brooke Scott she was approached by Odin one of the Noble Titans of whom was rejecting the call of the Noble Titans to not interfere and would remove nearly all of her coruption leading to her being free for the first time in many years from the endless thoughts of Flemeth. In this moment it was also revealed to her that Odin had also intervened earlier in order to make her convinse the Orc Jurden Hardaxe that Sauron wanted him to maintain the siege, and thus saved Tree Hill for what Odin knew would be the great victory of William Lovie III. Free from her coruption she would return to the Korcani Wilds where she found Brooke Scott, and assisted her in adapting to the new life she had been pushed into, and made her understand that she would be fine. Returning to Lucerne she would persuade Edward Cullen to have her placed near the King William Lovie III. and she became more and more present near the King to the point that she begin to grow closer to him then Edward was. |

Following the bribing of Jurden Hardaxe and the Bonechewer Clan by Bill Lovie it was the direction of Odin that the destruction of Tree Hill would allow the further destruction of Lucerne and thus he couldn't allow the complete destruction of the city. Odin would travel to Lucerne under a secret guise and would put Morrigan into a trance, and while under this trance he was able to reverse a large amount of coruption that was in her, and then convinse her that Flemeth had commanded her to make Jurden Hardaxe believe a lie. She would travel west of the Eyes and once there she joined the army of Jurden Hardaxe, and gained his respect after she killed several of his rivals (and by doing this gave him the later idea of killing his rivals as easily), and then would tell him about the offer of Sauron. Using a Magi menipulation she made him believe he was talking to Sauron and from this Jurden would attack the city of Tree Hill with the belief that he wasn't to completely destroy the city. Following with Jurden's army Morrigan was believed by many in the Circle of Magi to have been still following their directive, and thus it wasn't until much later they understood. |

− | As the Orcish army swarmed into Tree Hill Morrigan would make her way to a local farm where she had ordered her men for months to burrow a tunnel beneath Tree Hill that would connect directly beneath Gryphon's Gate. Moving her way through the tunnels she would eventually arrive at the entrance which was inside her home in the keep where she was living under the guise of Lady Morrigan Sylne of House Slyne. Leaving her house she heard the screams and could smell all the death around her but her soul brought her to the wall where she found a mortally wounded Lucas Scott. Lucas had two arrows in him of which one had pierced his lung and was too much for him to handle and survive. Holding his head up she would use her Magi to heal him, and as he was healed and she removed the arrows she rested him along the wall and used her Magi to enchant Nathan into sensing where his brother was and coming to find him. |

− | Following the coronotation of William Lovie III. the tournament of Nortburg was held to celebrate this occasion, and during this many foreign kingdoms sent people to represent them and try to regrow relations with Lucerne as most relations were on life support under the rule of Bill Lovie. One of these groups was House Manderly of the White Knife, and they would send many members including Wylis Manderly and his wife and daughter, as well as Marlon Manderly the uncle of Wylis. After the tournament ended Wylis would come to speak with William Lovie III. and the two would discuss marriage options between the houses, and on the advise of Charlie Swan William's father in law it was decided that Miley Black would be married to Winfred Manderly the only son of Marlon Manderly. Miley would be recalled as quickly as possible to Nortburg where she met with Wylis, and Marlon and was seen to be exceptionally beautiful and smart and thus Marlon immediatly accepted the arrangement, and it was decided to happen shortly after. It was agreed between Wylis, and William that following the marriage the two groups would begin arrangements to bring the Manderlys into the sphere of Lucerne, and away from the growing threats of Bolten, and the Iron Islands. |

− | Once the Manderlys returned to White Knife the wedding was already being planned, and it takes longer then expected after Ironborn raid several ships filled with wedding supplies purchased from Pontus. When the wedding is finally planned Miley Black and basically her entire family alongside many nobles of Forks travel to the White Knife for the wedding. Lucas Scott travels northward and alongside Morrigan joins the fleet going to White Knife and acts as the sort of commander of the defence of the fleet despite be uneeded due to the high strength of the fleet. On the trip to the White Knife Lucas Scott grows to be friends with Miley Black and the two share stories of their youth with Lucas withholding much of the true darkness that he went through. One night Morrigan finally confronts him on why he has lied so many times to Miley, and he breaks down revealing that he is trying to make himself believe it wasn't as bad as he knows it was, and the two share a kiss before making love in his room beneath deck. |

− | Arriving at the White Knife Lucas Scott was shown around the land by Wylis Manderly and his wife of whom held hands the entire time they walked Lucas around White Harbor. Lucas would remain with Wylis after his wife had to leave to wake up their youngest of whom needed milk, and the two would discuss the situation in White Knife, and Wylis was completely open as Lucas had a letter from William saying that Lucas was to be fully trusted with sensitive information for he was a loyal servent. Wylis discussed with him how the Boltens had begun sending word to White Harbor stating that the White Knife was deemed a part of the larger plans for Bolten, and that if they did not join with the Boltens then other steps would be taken to have them join. Lucas questioned whether they could hold off the Boltens, and Wylis told him that it was going to be difficult for the Boltens as the Manderlys had a large fleet which would make crossing very difficult, but if they were able to land they had significantly larger ground forces and in that case White Knife would fall. The two would be interupted when a messenger told Wylis that Domeric Bolten and his cousin had arrived in White Harbor with several other nobles, and wished to attend the wedding. Domeric Bolten would demand food be given to him so that he was under the guest right while he remained in White Harbor, and Lucas would briefly meet with the prince of Bolten, and despite what he had thought he would find Domeric was a kind young man. |

− | The wedding went by without a hitch, and Lucas would make a point to meet fully with Domeric Bolten, and he leaves the wedding to find Domeric waiting outside the hall for him. The two leave the wedding and speak of many things, and Lucas is shocked at genuinly nice Domeric appears to be, and Domeric tells him a story of Bolten, and despite how well the two get along the conversation takes a dark turn when Domeric is forced to threaten Lucas with the knowledge that if Lucerne interferes anymore in the White Knife that he will be forced to intervene himself. Lucas knows that Domeric is a capable young man and knowingly takes this threat as more then just a hollow gesture knowing that Domeric will do this despite his gentle nature. Following their conversation Lucas receives a raven and it instructs him to return to Lucerne where he is to meet with his uncle Kieth in Highgarden, and he is to do this with all possible haste. |

− | Following the capture of Westbridge it was Morrigan that made her way northward from Tree Hill and waited north of where Lucas was camped waiting for him to travel northward as she knew he would. Morrigan would find herself crying on the road waiting for Lucas, as she had been commanded to infiltrate the Lucernian camp and get close to William Lovie III. where she would then kill him. She did not want to do this, but her control over herself was still weak as the coruption had only been somewhat drained by Odin, and thus she believed she would be forced to do this act no matter what she actually wanted to do. Lucas had been placed in an inferior role to his brother now that the siege was over, and he attempted to help with meetings but he was told he was uneeded, and thus he was basically just gaurding the camp east of the town. When he grew tired of garrisoning Westian he would take a small troop of soldiers and make his way northward where he located Morrigan along the road waiting for him. She would join him, and used her Magi to make him convinsed as to why she was coming northward, and why she was waiting for him. Morrigan would speak to him during this trip northward about the happenings in Tree Hill, and she would openly lie to him when he asked her how his sister was doing. Arriving at the Lucernian main army camp south of Westbrige she would pull him towards where she could feel Edward Cullen was, as she enacted the next step of her plan. |

For Lucas he had no idea why he was doing what he was doing, but he was helpless to stop the words that flowed from his mouth. Leaving behind a nearly comotose Lucas Scott Morrigan would walk with Edward of whom she attempted to persuade to get him to take her to meet with William. Edward himself powerful in Magi he was found himself feeling the desire to listen to her, and would take her into Westbridge proper, all the while the two being followed closely by Lucas. Edward was able to easily bypass all the checks and other gaurds that stood before the king, and got to his location in the main keep of Westbridge where he was finally stopped by Jasper Hale, and Leven Martell. |

− | I could just see Edwards back, but everything about his stance told me that the moment he saw Jasper he had grown weak. The golden armor of Jasper made him look angelic, but the look on his face when he saw Edward was more demonic. The two were supposed to be best friends, and thus seeing him looking at Edward with such distain wasn`t something I expected. |
||
− | |||
− | ``What brings you here Edward.`` There was such Malice in his voice that the reason behind it must be bad. You don`t speak with that level of hate, unless the true reasoning for it is something beyond just a simple argumement. |
||
− | |||
− | ``Jasper please. The King wishes for you and Edward to remain civil, please do not make this uncomfortable for our guest.`` She said the guest part as a question wanting Morrigan to anwser who she was. |
||
− | |||
− | ``I am Morrigan of the Order of the Blue Dragon, and my friend Edward here was taking me to meet the King.`` Jasper clearly didn`t like this and stopped looking at Morrigan and turned towards Edward. |
||
− | |||
− | ``I`m sorry Leven but how am I to remain calm in his presence when he brings strangers to see the king. I am sorry Lady Morrigan but I know nothing of you, and here you stand prepared to meet the King of the Valley.`` Edward remained unmoving, and I felt bad for him as I watched him. The Edward I had met earlier had been like the Edward I had met when he was with the army that had relieved us in Tree Hill, and just like then he was confident, and personable. He wasn`t this weakened man that I saw now with shoulders slumped looking asleep while standing. |
||
− | |||
− | ``Lord Hale it has been a dream of mine since the kings heroic saving of Tree Hill to meet him. I promice you that I mean you no harm.`` Jasper didn`t smile just sort of stopped moving for a moment. He looked briefly pale as he stood motionless, and Leven looked at him wondering just like I was why he was standing so still, and then before Leven could say anything he shook his head and became remade. |
||
− | |||
− | ``I believe...I know you say that milady but there are lots of things that many people would say to try and get close to the king. That is why we do not let random people meet him at random times. If you wish to see him then make arrangements to do it when we have returned to Lucerne. But now it is...``Jasper telling Morrigan to leave was interupted by the tent opening to reveal William in soft black armor. Nothing like the golden dragon armor that he had worn into battle this armor was clearly meant as a sort of stylized protection while he was not in battle. |
||
− | |||
− | ``Edward it is great to see you.`` He smiled at his friend for a moment waiting for him to speak but when he didn`t William went to speak again but was interupted by Morrigan. |
||
− | |||
− | ``Your grace it is...your grace it is an honor to finally meet you in person.`` William looked away from the still silent Edward and rested his hand on Morrigan`s shoulder. |
||
− | |||
− | ``Please milady rise. You are Morrigan of the Blue Dragon I have heard through the thin walls of this room.`` He looked over at Jasper clearly proving that he had heard the argueing between the two, and Jasper smiled briefly before returning to his stoic face of no emotion. |

− | ``I had not meant to cause this level of problems my grace, I had just always wished to meet you in person and thank you for all you had done for the people of Tree Hill, and if I may say. All the things you did for me when you saved Tree Hill.`` |
||
− | |||
− | ``You were in Tree Hill during the siege.`` I didn`t blame him for not knowing every soul he had saved in that city. The ruins of Tree Hill were just so large, that it hid the fact that so many had been still inside all those years. All manner of people had fought there way together during that time, and Morrigan was just another shadow on the wall as the city burned around us all. |
||
− | |||
− | ``I was your grace.`` She said it with a softness, and even from this far I felt her pain. Her family was non-excistent to me, but she had never mentioned losing anyone during the siege, or even having anyone. Her mystery became in this moment very real, and I wondered why I had never asked her before. |
||

− | ``A terrible thing that happened there, and I must apologize that it took me so long to undue the damage that should have never happened.`` |
||
− | |||
− | ``For a few minutes of your time all is forgiven your grace.`` He laughed along with Leven as she said it, and then despite the glares she was getting by Jasper he waved her in followed by Leven and then Morrigan followed in behind. After Jasper shut the door behind Morrigan I watched as he called two more gaurds to stand at the door, and then walked away followed behind by Edward of whom walked with more raised shoulders now. |

− | Morrigan, and the more hidden Lucas Scott would watch on as Edward was berated by Jasper Hale for his reasoning in bringing Morrigan there despite her unknown nature and the fact that she was a Magi. Edward had little explanation as he had been tricked using Magi to let her come, but Morrigan did her best to explain her reasoning making Jasper understand that she was a member of the Order of the Blue and just wanted to meet her king. Jasper was despite her attempts of Magi menipulation utterly unable to be corupted shocking Morrigan, and just as she was about to be sent away William came out and told Morrigan to come inside. Jasper pulled Edward aside, while Morrigan followed Leven and William into the old throne room of Westbridge. Lucas Scott would from this point on begin to hyperventilate, and fell through a window into a room nearbye where he would begin to have visions through the eyes of Morrigan. |

− | Morrigan now in the room alone with William, and Leven she begin to hear terrible whisperings in her mind from Flemeth of whom begin to try and conjure a dagger in her hand so that she could assasinate William. As the whisperings begin to get through to her she felt her hand forming a dagger, but as that begin to happen another voice begin whispering to her in the form of Odin of whom was able to push away the presence of Flemeth and free her from this mission and thus saving William. Without the coruption Morrigan became herself in that moment and spent the time getting to know her great great nephew. William would be captivated by her kindness, and Leven would also come to like her during this conversation, and William gave her an invitation to come stay with them at Lucerne and act as a sort of steward to them for the Order of the Blue. |

− | For Brooke Scott life was begininning to become depressing in a terrible way before the return of Andrew, but with his return it was as if all the things that troubled her were distant memories of trouble long forgotten. Despite the fact that she understood that Andrew was never going to leave his wife on his own, she was now driven to end the marriage. In this drive she became involved with a women named Heather Yearl of Forks who told Brooke that she could create a potion that if injested by the Queen would make her infertile and thus her plan to make Andrew leave Bella would have true grounds. She knew that this plan would work in her mind, but she needed a way to actually implement the plan and for that she needed someone that hated Bella and was willing to give her a toxin. She had trouble finding someone like this but she remembered as a young girl that her friend Thomas Nighting had mentioned during torture that his family had used a women in Tree Hill as the one that was responsible for these acts, and with this girl in mind Brooke went about finding her. Brooke during this time was consumed with her hatred of Bella Swan, and despite the fact that she understood everything she was planning to do, she continued down the same dark path until she finally found the alchemist. The alchemist told her that for sufficiant funds she would provide her with the poison, and Brooke immediatly gave her the poison, and then was told to return in three days and the potion would be done. |

− | : "I watched her change from the kind young women that I had met on the steps of the Scott Keep. I watched her hatred for Bella Swan overcome her. − | As she continued down this path she became watched by Morrigan who was a daughter of Flemeth, and had been ordered to keep her eye open for any females who could be used to get close to the King of Lucerne, and with knowledge now of the affair Morrigan sent word to Flemeth who proceeded to work out plans to turn Brooke Scott into one of her pawns. Morrigan believed that this was the only way to stop Brooke from killing Bella of whom she felt didn't deserve to die, and of whom Morrigan believed was a more effective Queen the what Brooke would make. Thus she only did the bidding of Flemeth because she couldn't find a better way to stop Brooke. Flemeth responded back very quickly with the news that a Dark Man would be coming soon, and that she should make sure that everything was prepared because they only had a few more months before the Lucernians and their Magi shield would block their ability to move freely in the same way they had always done. Morrigan knew that she had signed Brooke Scott's death warrant and for this reason she went to Brooke in order to explain to her why she was going to die. |

− | I went to open the door when I felt a pain so deep and so entirely in my body that I wondered whether I was dying. Was this how it would end? Would my life truly end walking to meet Lucas for a walk in the gardens? The pain became unbearable and I fell forward through the door onto the ground, which felt like water as I seemingly fell through it. |
||
− | |||
− | I don't know how long I was asleep but when I woke my face was in the dirt, and I coughed to remove it from my mouth. "Dear daughter you have truly made quite the mess of your dress." The horrible sound of her voice was enough to spring me from my coughing fit and bow beneath her as I had always been trained to do. |
||
− | |||
− | "Mother it is wonderful to see you. Where are we meeting?" |
||
− | |||
− | "I have pulled you into the fade sweet daughter. I'm sorry that you feel like death, but you must remember that you are dead." |
||
− | |||
− | "Yes of course mother. I am sorry for my failure in coming through." Her reminder of my death brought me back hundreds of years to the first time I had known what true life was like. Walking through the lush fields of northern Lucerne with my brothers I had known pure happiness then, and it was an insult to my brother's memory that I was this person now. |
||
− | |||
− | "Mention nothing of it Ashley, the time for apologies is over. I have a task for you." Sayin that sent chills down my spine. I wondered what it was like for a monster to do the bidding of a monster, because surely it would have been easier for her to convinse them. Then of course I remembered she didn't have to convinse me of anything. If she asked me to I would be helpless to do whatever she wanted, such was her control over me and my supposed sisters. |
||
− | |||
− | "What may I do for you mother?" I hated her. I wanted her to die, but what was I to do. Like a perfect soldier I couln't speak the words in anger towards her. It was simply not possible, the words just wouldn't come. |
||
− | |||
− | "You have become quite close to the Scott daughter I see." |
||
− | |||
− | "She is a friend yes. I have been ruining her reputation as you said to do, and it has led to many believing she is trying to kill Bella Swan. The King my great grand nephew visited just recently and told her he would never see her again." I wondered whether my beloved brother would even recegnize me when I went to heaven. Would he be waiting for me for the final fight against Aerene only to find me a ghost of myself. |
||
− | |||
− | "Thats very good work Ashley." She moved closer to me and pulled me up finally allowing me to stand in front of her, but I knew it was expected that I remained half bowed in her presence. Standing up though I was able to see that the Dark Man was in the corner, and seeing him this close frightened me. A man of nothing but pure evil, it was like an aura being sent around being this close to him, and I wished to remove myself from his proximity. "My daughter I need you to give Brooke these vials." She pulled vials from her cloak and handed them to me. "They will allow Mann von dunkler to see her perfectly in the Fade and quicken what might take longer then we have time for." |
||
− | |||
− | I had done this twice before and thus I was confused why we needed the vials. "Mother why do we need to quicken the pace. Surely the Man of Dark is capable of doing his job is he not." Despite insulting him he stood motionless and if he was insulted or could even feel that he made no motion to show it. |
||
− | |||
− | "No need to be rude to your brother Ashley." He was no brother to me. I had three brothers and none of them were this failure of a person. What ever he was once was gone, and now this Dark Man was nothing more then a shadow eating away at the light trying to taste whatever he once was. "The Lucernians are constructing a shield around the capital, and once that is done they plan to expand it out to other major cities of which one will surely be Tree Hill. If this should happen I don't have to tell you what would happen to your brother." |
||
− | |||
− | "They would surely kill him." |
||
− | |||
− | "They would murder your brother without a second thought." I smirked at him thinking on his death, but still he didn't say or do a thing that would indicate he was even awake. "So take these vials and do what you must do to make her drink them. Your brother will arrive within the days after this happens." |

− | When Brooke returned to the alchemist three days later she found the potion ready for her, but as she walked out of the house she ran into a man clothed completely in black robes, and wearing a mask that showed nothing but the outline of his pure red eyes. This scared her, and she screamed to the crowd for them stop the man, and the crowd couldn't see him so they attacked a man that was just standing by her, and nearly killed him to protect Brooke. As she watched the Dark Man just stood there and watched. He followed her home, and she attempted to get him away but as she did this she realized that she was the only that could see him. She knew that if this was Magi related the only person who might be able to help her was Morrigan so she ran to find her all the while being followed by the Dark Man. When she arrived at the home of Morrigan she could clearly see him, but Morrigan played it off as if she couldn't and this sealed the fate of Brooke's sanity. |

She at first thought she had gotten away from him, but when she arrived in Lucerne she saw him waiting in the center of the gate, and knew that her time was almost gone. She entered Lucerne and when she reached the Cloud Tower she was met at the entrance by Alice Lovie of whom had had heard of her arrival in the town, and had moved to keep it a secret. Alice would take Brooke into the Sky Towers, and the two would finally get another chance at attacking eachother. The two would at first trade jabs at eachother verbally but as the fight continued and Bella arrived the fight became physical as Brooke physically attacked Brook the point of all of her rage. As she approached completely in tears he took her into his arms and took her into a side room. In the room she continued to cry, and he couldn't get her to explain what was wrong, and it was as this was happening that she opened her eyes and saw that the Dark Man was in the room with them. This time when she saw him she didn't cry out or try and get away from him, she just accepted that she was gone. In that moment she looked away from the Dark Man and back to the William, and she would smile at him before kissing him on the lips. The two would be intimate one more time, before she said her goodbyes to him, and when he tried to follow her, he was stopped by Alice Lovie of whom didn't want him to get in trouble with the people if they saw what was happening. Watching her walk away was one of the toughest things he had ever done, but what happened next would be far more painful to not just William but to many people throughout the valley. |

When she finally did jump off the side she carried with her the curse he had done to her, and in this moment she became a "Daughter of Flemeth". |

− | The next thing Brooke felt was the dark feeling of waking up laying naked in the middle of a giant cave. As she opened her eyes she saw a skinned body strapped to the roof of the cave, and this caused her to scream which then brought growling to fill the cave. As she looked for the source of the growling all she could see in the pitch black walls of the cave was cage doors, and peering back from the doors were horrifying red eyes. As she screamed and moved away from the eyes she ran backwards into a small body that she should have knocked over with the force she jumped back with, but the body didn't even move. As she turned around she saw it was Morrigan of whom had a sad look on her face, but for Brooke she ignored this and held onto the one person she recegnized. − | Morrigan would initially find Lucas Scott lying near death after his heroic defence of the bridge into the Tree Hill keep, and she would save his life and then take him through tunnels created in Tree Hill that only she knew about and then left him near the wall to wake up on his own. During the events of the First Battle of Tree Hill and the subsequent siege of the city, Lucas was constantly approached at night by a beautiful women who called herself Morrigan. Their relationship grew as for whatever reason she begin to find herself drawn to him, and Morrigan told him that he was a great man, and that he had to keep going, and during some of the darkest days of the siege it was only the hope he would see her that kept him going. Following the end of the siege of Tree Hill the two remained close, but Morrigan had been given orders by Flemeth to infiltrate the growing Lucernian Order of the Blue Dragon so she was often kept busy with that. Realizing the damage she was causing but unable to resist her entire life changed when she had most of her coruption removed by the Titan Odin of which led her to begin to actually do acts of good in the land. |

Morrigan is a Magi sensitive person of whom is of the extremely powerful Level Four categorization. Morrigan was as a young girl before her death very powerful in Alteration of which became most noteable in the fact that she was very well known as a young girl for restoring the forests of Nortburg soth of Lucerne.
Andrea Lovie was born the youngest child of William Lovie and was born following the annexation of Stormwind which basically signaled the completetion of William Lovie's Kingdom of Lucerne. Following the death of Brooke Scott she would disapear from Lucerne for a time as she returned to the Korcani Wilds and using her increasingly free mind due to the menipulations of Odin she would assist Brooke during her intial time in the Korcani Wilds. Returning to Lucerne she would begin to move closer into the inner circle of the Shadow Council where she would basically take over the position that Edward Cullen held, and during this time she would move past Edward Cullen of whom she accepted was no longer hers and became utterly intent on protecting William and her family.

Early History
- “I still remember so much of my family. I remember my father's smile when he saw me enter a room. I remember the way my brother William would laugh and make everyone in a room just fall in love with him. I remember the silent love that my brother John showed to everyone he ever met. I remember it all, and when I asked Flemeth why she would leave me with such memories, she responded with a simple laugh before saying that it didn't matter what I remembered because I was locked into her no matter what.”
- — Morrigan
Andrea Lovie was born the youngest child of William Lovie and was born following the annexation of Stormwind which basically signaled the completetion of William Lovie's Kingdom of Lucerne following the monumentous moments following and throughout the Driving Tide. During her youth she was beloved by everyone she knew, and her father especially adored her and her kindness. She would also become known greatly due to the fact that she grew close to her father's dragon Stragnarax, and this relationship would become one of the great stories of the Kingdom. Morrigan would travel with Stragnarax into the Mountains of Lucerne with her brother William of whom rode Klaranax, and during this she became supremely popular amongst the commoners of Lucerne, alongside her beloved brother William Lovie II. As the only girl born of House Lovie at the time she was noticed by Flemeth and she immediatly went about planning her demise through the use of the Man of Fear.

- “I was a girl that was so deeply in love with life that the thought it was but a second from destruction never occured to me. I wish that I couldn't remember the light before the dark, because it only makes living in the dark harder.”
- — Morrigan
She started screaming when she saw the man, but everyone else around just held her and tried to calm her down. Her family became worried she had become insane, and when she realized that they were going to send her away she pretended to not see him anymore. Her brother William would stay with her during this time, but this only helped her until the point came where he was forced to leave for the War in Arnor, and with his departure the fragile hold on her sanity seemingly flowed away. Every night, and everyday the Man of Fear would follow her everywhere she went, and the entire time he whispered violent threats to her, and on several occasions he would go up to her family with daggers and threaten to kill them if she didn't kill herself. The second time she was threatened with this she sadly agreed to kill herself, as she no longer wished to put her family in danger. The Man of Fear took her to a cliff, and told her to jump off. As she was about to do it, she first turned around and one last time attempted to talk him out of it. After he rant the Man of Fear simply spoke softly the following.
- “If you wish to escape your madness then their is only one way out, and that is in front of you. If you want to live then I shall be with you until the day you die.”
- — Man of Fear
With this she realized it was over, and for a moment she stood at the edge of the cliff remembering as best she could all the best moments she had experienced during her short life. She would cry for her brothers, and the fact that she would never have another chance to see them. She cried because her father was nearing the end of his life, and she had meant everything to him, and she knew that her death would devastate him. She would continue to cry, but stopped as she heard the whispering from the man again, and knew it was time, and with that she jumped fulfilling the agreement between her and Flemeth. As her body hit the ground and she died, she would activate the spell that was on her causing Flemeth to take possession of a massive piece of her, and it was this self that the Man of Fear would pick up and enter the Fade with. Her body would never be discovered by those in her family that had loved her so deeply, and despite a massive search to find her, the search was eventually called off by her brother John Lovie after he was corrupted by Sauron and was convinced that his sister had been murdered by William Lovie II. his brother, adding yet more hatred from John towards his brother.
Re-Birth
- “Your old home is gone. Your family might as well have died when you jumped from that cliff because you shall never see them again. From this day forward you are mine. You are mine to destroy, use, and throw away as I see fit. Do not ever forget these words”
- — Flemeth
When Morrigan awoke she found herself as all new daughters of Flemeth do when she awoke in a rough bed with Flemeth sitting beside her. For days she begged Flemeth to explain to her what had happened and when she could return to her family. Flemeth each day responded with a slight chuckle, and after weeks of this continueing she finally slapped Morrigan in the face before making sure Morrigan understood her new place.

- "I never understood why she wanted me to save them. For years I had begged her without any sign of anything from her that she cared about my feelings. Then one day Flemeth appeared to me in Tree Hill and told me to do anything I could to make sure that Jurden Hardaxe didn't completely destroy the city. It was too late for most of Tree Hill but I would do my best to give them a fighting chance at living."
- -Morrigan
The First Battle of Tree Hill
Main Article : First Battle of Tree Hill
Fall of Tree Hill We were trained to fight. We built walls, and we made plans for our defenses. All of this training and planning was for naught when we were ambushed by an enemy that knew everything we were. |
---|
While the smaller Loudlon had failed at the Battle of Forks, and the Loudlon leadership being almost completely massacred at the The Hackenholtist Massacre the success of the Tree Hill part of the plan rested on the shoulders of Abdosir Zestoponnid. The larger Loudlon army continued moving towards Tree Hill controlled now solely by Abdosir Zestoponnid, and thus the army’s movement was slow as Abdosir was unable to fully stop the infighting that begin to grow among the Orc army with the deaths of the more powerful Exemptus members. As they moved through the plains of Central Tree Hill, they first lost control of the Ragechoppa Clan who moved away from the main army and begin sacking villages. As they made the final movement towards Tree Hill it was an exhausted Adbdosir that lost control of three clans in the , Bonecrusha, and Eadsplitta Clans and this forced the army to briefly stop and the Circle of Magi members still within the army made quick adjustments. Deciding that these clans getting loose was not a part of their orders by James Lovie II. they would send word to the army of Peter Scott which they knew was already moving from Forks to Tree Hill following the First Battle of Forks. Abdosir would continue to move the rest of the army the final stretch to Tree Hill which they reached successfully, and massing north of Tree Hill it was Abdosir that gave his control over to Jurden Hardaxe who now unleashed would prepare the invasion of Tree Hill. With the assistance of maps and information provided by the Circle members the Orc army moved to surround the city and attack the different hills as well as the two main Tree Hill gates with a force that would make retreat impossible.
When Peter Scott was pulled away from Tree Hill with most of the army due to the Summit of Castle Blastner the vacuum of power fell to the hands of Leonard Nighting III. of whom was named the Grand Marshal of Tree Hill and thus placed in charge of its defenses. Leonard was not what Peter believed him to be in a loyal member of the rebellion but in fact was a secret member of the Circle of Magi, and thus knew that the Orcs were incoming and that the Summit of Castle Blastner was a ruse. Leonard would work for the weeks before the Orcs arrival to move troops loyal to the Circle or the Nightings out of the city, and those that remained were given time off with pay leaving the city undefended. While removing loyal troops it was Leonard that also invited many nobles who were rebel supporters to the city of which included many prominent families and planned a large feast for what he knew would be after the arrival of the Orcs. Leonard would be warned of the Orcs approach and thus when they were only two days away it was Leonard and most of his loyalists that left Tree Hill travelling westward towards Nighthold and named Daniel Scott as the new Grand Marshal of Tree Hill. Daniel had been tricked into believing that the Orcs coming was a plot to kill Peter and that following this ambush he would defeat the Orcs with the large army that Leonard and the Circle had waiting outside the city. In truth Tree Hill had been promised to House Guntbold and thus his purpose was gone for the Circle leaving him to remain in Tree Hill under a mistaken belief. The Baker Killings
House Baker had through the Magi power and general lack of morality of Hanne Baker joined the Circle of Magi leaving them very much aware of the coming Orcish assault on the city of Tree Hill. Hanne Baker would return from her time in the west where she had been assisting Bill Lovie with his Orcish manipulation and fresh from her time there she would summon her entire family including her husband Haden Baker, son Julian Baker, and two daughters Lindsay Baker, and Margerette Baker and proceeded to tell them about what was about to happen in Tree Hill. The family sat with the increasingly cowardly Haden Baker immediately begin preparing to leave the city without warning anyone of what was coming and return to their seat at Bakervale. Following the departure of Julian two organize their retreat, two things happened with the first being Margerette attempted to run away from her family confronting her sister Lindsay, while Lindsay finally realized she had the moment she had been waiting for to finally kill her mother and father. When Margerette took Lindsay into the other room while her parents loaded up the carriage outside with their two dozen men at arms and servants, she would tell Lindsay that she was going to reveal what was happening to Lord Typhon of whom she knew was an honorable man.
In this moment Lindsay not wanting her chance of killing her parents to be thwarted would stab her sister through the neck killing Margerette and dragging her body into a closet. Returning to the living room she would hide her mother’s wand before tricking her mother into joining her in the bedroom where she would hit her mother with a mace knocking her out. With her mother unconscious she would bring her father and two servants in where she locked the door behind them to their confusion before she would stab the two servants before knocking out her father. With everyone either dead or unconscious she would tie her father and mother to a chair before she would walk out of the house. Appearing before the men at arms, knights, and servants covered in blood and a blood mace she told them that Julian was now in charge of the family, and shocked at what she had done they were cowed into submission. Leading these servants and soldiers out of the eastern gate it was Lindsay, and Julian that escaped the coming destruction of Tree Hill. When Hanna, and Haden woke up they attempted to get out of their bindings, but Haden was too weak, and Hanna without her wand could do little, and thus they were unable to escape and were eventually killed during the sacking of Tree Hill by the Orcs. The Massacre of the Hill of Edrestic
The Orcs would split themselves up as they moved towards Tree Hill with Clan Rabbidgutta and Clan Gorebasha attacking the Hill of Edrestic, while the remainder of the army went for the main city. House Slinde defended the Hill of Edestic and was a devoted member of the rebels meaning they were not warned or protected in any way by the Circle. House Slinde had lost most of its defenders to the Summit of Castle Blastner and thus was very undermanned when the Orcs arrived, and with all this together the Orcs moved through the damaged gatehouse and inside the walls. Once inside the walls what little defenders were able to fight back were quickly overrun and the Hill of Edrestic fell in less then hour its entire population killed or enslaved. The Sack of Tree Hill
With the destruction of the Hill of Edestic the main Loudlon army reached the main Tree Hill Gate. The northern entrance was the most fortified of the two entries into the city and thus was guarded by five towers, a large bridge, and three layers of portcullises leaving it a highly defensible position. In response to these defenses, it was the Circle that had placed much of its energy around the weakening of this defense. While the towers were meant to have been occupied by fifty men each the deployment schedules had been purposely weakened by Ebrimund Neuhazer who had been promoted to the Commander of the Gate by Leonard Nighting. Ebrimund would be warned of the arrival of the Orcs hours before and took what little men were left at the gatehouse and left the gate telling the defenders that another deployment was being brought to replace them and gave them the rest of the day off. With the gatehouse now undefended it was the Orc army that was able to enter the gate without being noticed or deterred. As the Orcs poured through the gatehouse the screaming of the slain and panicked that led to soldiers being warned of the attack. Of these soldiers it was Traven Goodsbrow, and the Oakheart twins Frasier, and Thomas Oakheart were in the vicinity and would also move in the direction of the fighting at the gate. Traven and the Oakheart twins would be overwhelmed alongside the rest of the guards at the gatehouse and the Orcs swelled into the city from the main gate shattering the cork that held the Orcs at bay. Once they had control of the gate the Orcs quickly destroyed any resistance that managed to form in the outer city, while they began destroying and setting buildings ablaze. The rampaging force of Orcs massacred their way through the packed market, which was located near the main gatehouse, and since Tree Hill was so far inside the borders of Lucerne no one was on their toes in preparation for an attack of this kind leaving the people and soldiers completely overwhelmed. The massacre continued unabated until southward of the main gatehouse the Orcs would come to the castle of the Typhon's in the form of Typhon's Keep.
The city of Tree Hill was a double walled city with the outer wall defended by five main gatehouses, while the inner was defended by two keeps. With two of the outer gatehouses either taken or about to be taken it was the next level of defenses that was coming under assault by the Orc invasion. It was House Typhon that controlled one of the entries in the form of Typhon Keep. A vassal of House Scott they would be within their estate as the city burned and the northern half was completely wiped out. As another of the rebel supporting houses they were not warned and most of their forces including House Typhon would hold off till the very last minute trying to allow more people to flee inside the keep including Lord Robett Highport and three of his men at arms. Robett had been devoted to Daniel Scott but as Daniel had been betrayed it was Robett that was also betrayed thus leaving him outside the keep when the Orcs arrived. As the Orcs overran the initial areas of Tree Hill the panic had spread quickly and thus it was Lord Athaulf Typhon that had armed and prepared his sons as well as what men at arms he could find. As the Orcs begin to reach the gatehouse the Typhon defenders did not close it immediately allowing dozens more inside the walls until finally as they risked being overwhelmed, they closed the gate of the Typhon Keep. Blocking their gates, the Orcs arrived on the scene the males took to the walls and fired upon the Orcs drawing major attention to themselves and slowing the advance as the Orcs attempted to take the Keep. As the Orcs used overturned wagons and boxes to attempt to get on the walls it was the defenders who would resist them for several minutes giving Athaulf time to get the non-fighters out of the back of the keep. Athaulf Typhon would manage to get those who had gone through Typhon’s gates through the gate and into the inner part of Tree Hill, but the family would refuse to abandon there ancestral seat and thus hid themselves inside the holdfast of the keep instead of fleeing south.
The front gate was finally bashed down as the defenders on the wall begin to run out of arrows, but the defenders had created enough time that they had been able to place a barricade behind this forcing most of the Orcs to use makeshift ladders, and ropes to climb onto the walls. Getting onto the walls the Orcs would take horrible casualties, but their number were unending, and they were able to wipe out the defenders including Lord Typhon and two of his sons, and would thus gain entrance into the courtyard within. Lord Robett Highport led a brief counter assault at the main gatehouse attempting to bar the entrance but was killed alongside his men after the walls had been completely overrun. The final son of House Typhon would defend the inner hold alone trying to protect his mother, cousins, and sisters but watched as the Orcs killed the remaining guards and the rest of House Typhon were massacred in the inner hallway. Jaime Typhon would survive the destruction of Typhon Keep after he was covered by the body of his slain brother and knocked unconscious. Waking up hours after the massacre of his family he would attempt with failed results to find anyone else alive and realizing he was alone he would hide himself in the Typhon cellar where he would attempt to plan his escape. With the massacre the Orcs would move forward towards the Tree Hill Keep of which was only real place that any sort of defense could be mounted. Last stand at the Keep of Tree Hill
Lucas Scott was in the Keep of Tree Hill when the first Orcs begin piling into the city itself, and like everyone in the keep it was the smoke coming from the entrance that first alerted them to trouble. As the Orcs overran the city it was the keep that begin to organize its defenses, and looking to Daniel, they discovered him inside his personal chambers surrounded by many of his nobles. Attempting to get Daniel to lead them it was Daniel that refused instead placing Lucas, and Nathan in command of the defences of the city slamming the door behind them. Lucas and Nathan would mobilize every male in the keep to find weapons and armor from the armory and bring themselves to the courtyard where Hochmeister Theoderic Madritch, and Ordenmarshal Odothus Schmild would move them to the different defensive positions. While this was happening, it was Lucas that went looking for Peyton, Haley, and Brooke who he knew were at the Gardens outside the keep. Going to the armory he put on his armor alongside his friends Visimar Heffelinger, and Cunimund Brodgert and begin leaving the keep heading towards the gardens. Speaking with Theoderic that he was going to the garden to find his sister and friends Theoderic lent him three men at arms to help bring back as many people as possible and then his group ran for the bridge of Saint Reginald which was clearest move to the Gardens. Reaching the bridge there were people streaming across and as he moved in the other direction, he saw Peyton screaming his name. Peyton had been able to return to the keep before the massacre and now she was crying so much that Lucas had to hold her up, and he would learn from Peyton that Haley, and Brooke had gone to the apartment of their friend Ottilia Goedde. Rushing to the apartment it was just outside the keep and they discovered the area was already the sight of some conflict as they saw there first Orcs. Brooke, Haley, and Ottilia led her younger siblings from the apartment and into the arms of Lucas and the others but this reunion was cut short by the arrival of the Orcs. These first Orcs were rampaging through the street and Lucas, Visimar, and Cunimund fought them without much thought killing the first two, but the third killed Cunimund before they were able to slay the Orc, and seeing more coming they were forced to leave his body on the street and lead the group back to the bridge of Saint Reginald. Success at Schild KeepHolding the Bridges
Massacring the population of the city the Orcs swarmed towards the next and last point of resistance in the form of the three main defenses of the Keep of Tree Hill in the two bridges and the twin gates. As Lucas and Visimar reached the Bridge of Saint Reginald with there group there was little time to say goodbye as Brooke, Haley and the others were rushed deeper into the Keep while Lucas met with Theoderic to discuss the situation. By this point the defenses of the Keep had been stiffened by the hundreds of incoming survivors who were being quickly equipped and placed into defensive positions. Alongside this the successful defense of the Schild Keep the twin gates were now heavily fortified thus leaving the two bridges as the main point of weakness for the defenders. The defenders were weakened by the fact that the drawbridge for the Bridge of Saint Reginald remained in working order but the Bridge of Naelys Targaryan had been sabotaged leaving it unable to be closed. Lucas, Visimar, and two dozen men at arms would rush to the Bridge of Naelys finding the Kellermaster Devon Davion leading the defense there but was struggling to fix the bridge mechanism and needed more time. The arrival of Hank James II. telling them of his fathers retreat led to Lucas seeing the oppurtunity to both buy time for the defenders as well as help Hank James. Now looking to buy this time for the defenders it was Lucas that led the two dozen men alongside Vismar, and several knights including Perwyn Guntbold, and Kurt Isidor, and Isidor Elric, Deert Dravion, Hank James II., and Hansal Oakheart. This group would be joined at the last minute by Deert Davion the son of Devon, and another nine men at arms and traveled across the bridge where they planned to meet with Hank James and hold the entry to the bridge for enough time to have Devon and his men repair the gate mechanism.
By this point the other houses of the southwest Keep were finding themselves becoming under attack as the Orcs were spreading throughout the city, and although the Orcs were finding increasing resistance as they moved closer towards the Keep of Tree Hill they were still moving in a near unstopped pace. At the Apartment of House James, it was Hank James that was with his sons Hanzal James, and Hank James II. when Mary James arrived in a panic telling them that Orcs had killed Gloria at the market and were not far behind her. Mary was taken away by Hank the younger to the Tree Hill keep escaping in safety, but Hanzal and Hank the elder gathered their men at arms from the area and organized several retreating men and fought a slow retreat to the Tree Hill Keep killing several charging Orcs as they pulled back. While doing this it was Hanzal that was struck down and killed fighting leaving a distraught Hank to continue retreating tears covering his face as he left his heir dead in the street. Hank James would be rejoined by Hank the younger who had returned after safely getting Mary inside the keep and standing at the side of the Chapel of Saint Markus the group decided this was the place to make their last stand. While Hank James was preparing this, they were joined by the force of Lucas Scott who was attempting to buy the bridge more time and the Chapel of Saint Markus enjoyed good vantage points for his archers and blocked the main roadway to the bridge making it a good spot to hold. Last Stand at the Chapel of Saint Markus
The force now at the Chapel of Saint Markus consisted of the 27 men at arms of Lucas Scott as well as the knights Perwyn Guntbold, Kurt Isidor, Isidor Elric, Deert Dravion, and Hansal Oakheart who joined the force of nine men at arms of House James and the knight Hank James. Also included in this defense would be another five men at arms who joined them during the retreat from several different houses. Placing men in the chapel spires to fire arrows at the Orcs once they came it was the rest of them that formed a defensive line across the road allowing the streaming refugees past them. The group held for a time as Lucas shouted for people to hurry up and get inside, but after fifteen minutes they started to see the first trickle of Orcs moving forward and it was in this moment that he held the road for a time stopping Orcs with carefully aimed bow shots. Perwyn Guntbold, and Hansal Oakheart were also firing arrows near him, while Deert, and Hank were directing people towards the bridge and making them hurry. He and the rest of the party were slowly pushed back by their numbers as he did not want to be cornered in the street, so he pushed himself to the first tier of the chapel steps and thus allowed the people to continue getting inside the Keep. While they were fighting this initial attack, they had lost seven of the other men at arms to the Orcs, and Deert took a horrifying blow to his arm of which when Lucas moved to him, they were both very aware that the wound might be fatal, but he refused to retreat and they covered it as best they could. His desperate fight continued as the Orcs begin swarming at him in increasing numbers, and as things became more desperate it was the arrival of an Orc ten feet tall that finally broke the defenses of the chapel. Defeating Lugdush
As the defenders were slowly retreating the Orcs stopped their attacks and made several steps back smashing there axes together. As the defenders watched this it was Lucas’s group that reached the edge of the bridge having been pushed all the way back to the bridge. As the orcs continued there chanting it was a giant that knocked several away allowing him through. The giant orc was Lugdush Grimbones the clan leader of the Grimbones Clan. His skin was a dull orange, and his size was such that he obscured everything around him. In terms of the Orc hierarchy, he was one of the largest orcs in the Loudlon army and was a trusted Grand Chief of Jurden Hardaxe the overall High Chief. Without warning Lugdush raised his giant axe and with that a group of white painted Orcs charge forward at the defenders who were now supported by archers on the walls of the bridge. While many of the Orcs were felled by the arrow fire many got through and reached the line of defenders. Fighting against this group Lucas showed himself the exceptional swordsmen cutting down two of the three Orcs that reached him while the third was killed by Perwyn. Lugdush let out a giant laugh, and the other orcs (hundreds strong now) returned to smashing their axes against each other. Finishing laughing Lugdush begin walking towards the defenders and as he moved forward arrows struck him, but he continued walking forward ignoring them like they were nothing. Moving through the arrows Lugdush reached the defenders in front of the bridge and smashing his sword down he sent Lucas, and Perwyn flying to the ground and knocking Perwyn unconscious against the ground. Lucas called out for the other men to retreat, but they refused to leave him, and his party stood side by side with him as Lugdush attacked again. Deert would be the first to fall as Lugdush ignored a slash across his chest from Lucas and cleaved Deert Davion in two and followed by this Lucas ducked underneath another slash from Lugdush and slid over the side of the bridge and into the moat but just managed to grab ahold of the side. While Lucas fought to pull himself up Hansal was slashed across the face by Lugdush and killed, while Lugdush struck down the three remaining men at arms one after another leaving just Kurt Isidor, and Isidor Elric standing between Lugdush and the bridge as Lucas finally pulled himself up.
Dodging blow after blow Kurt Isidor was joined by Oliver Slinde of whom ran across the bridge attempting to support the defense. The bridge mechanism was fixed at this point, and they were preparing to close it but were waiting for Lucas, and his men to get inside. Kurt, Oliver, and Lucas attacked Lugdush together, and Kurt was able to slash him across the leg dropping him to his knees. As Kirt went for a killing blow it was Lugdush that grabbed him by the beck as he had gotten too close and broke his neck before throwing him into the moat. As Lugdush got up he pushed Lucas to the ground and then as Oliver stabbed him through the back his sword became stuck inside the Orc. Lugdush now gravely wounded turned around and grabbed Oliver throwing him down the bridge. As Lugdush cornered Oliver against the side of the bridge and prepared to kill him Lucas jumped on his back and was able to stab him through the less armored back part of his neck killing the massive Orc. Now exhausted from that fight Lucas attempted to crawl across the bridge but was struck by an arrow from the Orcs that were now charging at him. Standing up with what little strength he had left he took another arrow and realizing that the time it would take him to cross the bridge would allow the Orcs to enter the keep, and thus decided to save his family and threw himself into the moat. Oliver was able to get inside the gate but those on the wall had watched Lucas plunge into the moat and as he had full plate armor on, he would have drowned, and thus they closed the bridge just as the Orcs reached it. Morrigan Enters the City
As the Orcish army swarmed into Tree Hill Morrigan would leave her Circle post at the Hill of Edestic and make her way to a local farm where she had ordered her men for months to burrow a tunnel beneath Tree Hill that would connect into the Keep of Tree Hill. Morrigan for her part had played the role of a loyal member of the Circle but her affection for Lucas Scott led her to turn against them and making the decision to save Lucas despite the personal cost to herself she would use the tunnel to enter the Keep of Tree Hill. Moving her way through the tunnels she would eventually arrive at the entrance which was inside her home in the keep where she was living under the guise of Lady Morrigan Sylne of House Slyne. Leaving her house she heard the screams and could smell all the death around her but she was looking for Lucas Scott and using her Magi she passed through the wall and into the Saint Markus Pond. Finding Lucas he had managed to take off his chest armor thus saving him from drowning, but the two arrows in him were going to be fatal injuries. Holding his head up she would use her Magi to heal him, and as he was healed and she removed the arrows leaving him unconscious but no longer fatally wounded.
Back in the City
The moment Lucas was pulled back into the keep was the moment that most point to as the moment that the Battle ended for the city itself, and following this the situation was one of a siege except for the incoming relief force. Nathan called out for men to come help him carry Lucas inside, and they carried him into the locked tower overlooking the city, and then called for a doctor. Miraculously Lucas was unhurt, and only had cuts, and bruises to show for the act that saved the city from immediate death. It was in this moment that the first stems of jealously begin from Lucas's brother Nathan. While Nathan had led the defenders in their retreat back to the keep and had maintained order during the battle, all of this was forgotten as the people lot their minds over the return of a living god to them in Lucas Scott.
Nathan Scott would storm out of the room as in his eyes everyone was ignoring him, and as he did he silently walked over to the wall and watched the people stem from the keep, and make their way to see Lucas Scott. As he watched this he saw for the first time that day Haley, and she was running around with a desperate look in her eyes. When he saw this he thought for a moment that she was coming for him and he felt hope, but as he walked towards her, she saw him and for the briefest moment she looked as if she would go to him, but instead she kept moving and pushed her way through the crowds and into the tower where Lucas was. |
Escaping Madness Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better to have died in Tree Hill. Seeing that monster kill my friend left a scar. That scar has bled out into my life ever since. |

Fleeing Tree Hill
When Tree Hill was attacked by the massive Orc force Quinn James was located on the outskirts of town where she was picking flowers with her best friends Caryl Todrinnel of House Todrinnel, Irena Pondell of House Pondell, and Welsia Brenfurd of House Brenfurd. She and Caryl saw the fire coming from the western section of the town and as they looked over the valley they could visually see the force attacking the front gate of Tree Hill. The three started running to the eastern gate and by the time they arrived there they got caught in the mass of people trying to make their way to the keep of Tree Hill, and during this attempt the arrival of Orc Warg riders would spark panic and lead to the death of Irena Pondell who was trampled by the horrified people trying to escape the wargs. The three of them nearly made it to the keep without problems but just as they were about to step on the gate the bridge was brought up after Lucas was finally driven from the bridge, and Quinn would watch horrified with Caryl, and Welsia as Lucas would fall into the water and they believed him dead. With no hope of getting to the keep following this they went to the estate of House Todrinnel where Caryl knew that there was a tunnel that would allow them to escape the city. Running as fast as they could through the ruins of the city they were nearly killed as an Orc tried to kill them but the Orc would be shot through the head by an arrow and Quinn would look to see who shot the arrow and would see the figure of a girl in a cloak of whom quickly grabbed Quinn by the hand and led them towards the Todrinnel estate where she would kill several Orcs on the way there. Taking them inside she would say little just made sure they went into the tunnel and just as the girl was going to close it behind them blocking any Orcs from following them Quinn stopped her and the girl would say goodbye and reveal her name to be Morrigan.
As the three girls escaped through the tunnels to the north of the now ruined city of Tree Hill they were forced to stop by Welsia breaking her ankle on a rock and being unable to move anymore. Finding a cave they would hide themselves within the cave and fell asleep crying together as they could still hear the sounds of the fighting at Tree Hill despite the distance from the city they were. During the night Tristifer Lonmouth, and his squire Trent Ufrantol would come upon them searching for easy pickings following the destruction of Tree Hill, and sneaking into the cave they would take Welsia of whom Tristifer would carry away commanding Trent to remain behind and watch the girls and make sure they didn't get away before he got back. Tristifer would turn against Trent waking up Welsia allowing her to scream out in a bloodcurdling scream which at the sound of Trent would run away in the grove where Tristifer had said he would meet him. Quinn and Caryl would be woken by the sounds of screaming and unable to find Welsia they would try to follow footprints they found moving away from the cave, and following them they were met in the middle of a grove by a man who claimed to be a scout for the Forks army, and he promised to take them to Lole where they would be safe from the Orcs. Darkness of Night
Quinn would be unwilling to follow him as she saw blood on his jacket, and when she saw him briefly smirk when she mentioned Welsia she would turn and grab Caryl running away from the man heading northwards towards Forks. Believing they had got away from the man the girls allowed themselves peace for a moment before Caryl was struck on the head knocking her out, and Quinn put up a brief fight before she too was knocked out by the man. Trent completely unsure of how to proceed without his lord in Tristifer he would take the girls northward dragging them to his masters cave where he planned to tie them up and then search for Tristifer. Tristifer while this was happening had went to his true home which was in a cave west of the caves he had told Trent were his home base, and putting Welsia into a hole to keep her secure he would go to the balcony built into the wall of the cave and look down at where he hoped Trent was learning something. Waking up in a cave just as the man was tieing up Carly Quinn would get a stick and struck the man over the head knocking him off a ledge down into the hole where he was going to put the two girl, and moving quickly she would untie Caryl and the two panicked the girls both attempted to run away, and as they ran away screaming they silently alerted a small patrol of House Clegane - who was on route to the cliffs north of Tree Hill so that could see the extent of the Orc force - but the man caught up to caryl and fighting the two girls succesfully he wounded Quinn leaving her dazed but able to watch as he proceeded to brutally rape Caryl before slashing her throat. With Caryl dead, and the Clegane forces unsure where the screaming had come from they begin calling out to the voice they had heard but Quinn couldn't speak after witnessing the rape and murder of her best friend so the Clegane forces simply wandered around while the man got closer and closer to her.
When the man saw her huddled holding herself he believed he had an easy win, but as he slowly approached her she refused to allow him to win this easily and she picked up a stick on the ground and prepared to fight him off. He laughed at her but quickly changed his tune when she struck him on the face with the stick. He tackled her to the ground before she kicked him away screaming which alerted the Clegane men to her location and they sprinted to her with Brandan Clegane holding the front. The man prepared to end Quinn the way he had Caryl but just as he was preparing himself she saw pain in his eyes and the arrow pierce his chest before she pushed him off her. Brandan Clegane quickly covered her tattered clothes with his cloak and proceeded to pick up the crying girl and take her unconscious back to Lole on his horse. Watching from his own holding was Tristifer Lonmouth of whom disgusted by the failure of Trent would vow to work much harder at finding his next squire before returning to Welsia of whom he had now tied to a plank suspended from the ground. Saving Jaime TyphonJaime Typhon would be assisted by Morrigan who was now actively working against the destruction of Tree Hill and in this assistance he became a sort of personal guard to her, but also assisting her he would come to discover that Dan Scott knew about the fact that Tree Hill was to be destroyed by Orcs and was complicit in this. |
Tree Hill Raid of 5123 My sister has come here and she has built herself an army within the one I have built. Her army is going to come here, and when they do. When they arrive all this resistance will have been for nothing. I must stop her. While I do this they will come. You must survive until I finish her. |

Tree Hill Raid of 5123Main Article : Tree Hill Raid of 5123
Lucas Scott would be spending time with Haley Scott of whom he is at first talking with on the battlements of the Tree Hill keep with who they believe is Caryl Todrinnel and they are talking about the recent appearance of food within the food storage of the caverns beneath the Tree Hill keep and while Caryl pushed the idea that this was the work of Glaurung it was Lucas that in his own mind would think to himself that this was impossible and made plans to sneak into the storage that night and observe what happened. Lucas Scott would hide himself in the storeroom and waited all night until something happened when Morrigan entered the storeroom seemingly through a wall as she had used Magi to get inside. Watching her from his hiding place she would summon the food from her home inside the storeroom, and it was only when she was completed her ritual that she saw that she was being watched. Lucas would confront Morrigan of whom he demanded how she had entered the food stuffs of the city and why she was giving them food, and when she was truthful telling him that she was a member of a special group and had been commanded to save the city he would demand the truth not believing her. As they spoke he begin to remember bits of memories from the initial Orc assault on the city and sensing his regaining memory she would use her Magi to take him back to the events of the initial assault on Tree Hill. With his memories restored including the fact that he had been mortally wounded and saved by Morrigan he would agree to keep her a secret but demanded that the two speak every day about what was happening and that she told him everything she was planning and having longed to be closer to Lucas for months it was Morrigan that readily agreed to this. The next day Lucas Scott gives a speech where despite knowing that the food was the work of Morrigan he declares it an act of Glaurung himself to keep them alive and his speech brings about the first sounds of happiness from the crowd and over the course of the day he works about schedules where the women will help distribute the food and rebuild their broken stocks of agriculture which has sprouted up in the city.
While Morrigan was working against Flemeth in Tree Hill it was Gerlinde Jocic that would be sent to Lucerne in order to assist Morrigan in her manipulation of the Kingdom of Lucerne, but as Gerlinde hated Morrigan she would not make her presence known and watched Morrigan witnessing her helping the Tree Hill defenders, and wanting to ruin something of Morrigan's she would begin infiltrating the Orc army and begin building her own forces. Gerlinde quickly realized that the Orcish main leader in the form of Jurden Hardaxe was a puppet of Morrigan and was actively working against the destruction fo Tree Hill, and thus it was Gerlinde that went to Chigdrask a goblin leader of the Hill of Edrestic and turned him Chigdrask into her puppet. Using Magi Gerlinde was able to manipulate Chigdrask until he had become her servent and with Chigdrask under her control he would begin massing his forces at the Hill of Edrestic for an assault on Tree Hill which would destroy the city before Jurden hardaxe could step into stop him. As Gerlinde made the final preparations for the attack on Tree Hill by her forces she was discovered by Morrigan and the two fought a brief battle but Gerlinde was able to escape fleeing Tree Hill to west of the city staying with her personal forces there. As Lucas goes to his room to go to sleep he is exhausted but his exhaustion ends when he sees Morrigan sitting at a chair in his room and talking to her she tells him about a horrifying development that she has uncovered in the army of Orcs seiging the city and reveals that she has been controlling the Orc leader to keep Tree Hill alive. She reveals that she is being confronted by a sister of hers named Gerlinde Jocic and her sister has raised an army of Goblins and Orcs that she is using to bypass Morrigans Orc army and attack the city of Tree Hill. Morrigan says she tried to fight her but Gerlinde fled to a stronghold of the goblin Chigdrask north west of the city and she needs Lucas's help in defeat her sister at the camp of Chigdrask and despite his still skepticism towards Morrigan he agrees to gather men to him who will join him assisting Morrigan.
The Assault
Trying to Find TruthMain Article : Killing of Jaime Typhon
Lucas Scott leading a group of his five most trusted knights and they travel beneath tunnels under Tree Hill following Morrigan and reaching the end they kill there way through several houses controlled by Orcs making their way towards Typhon Castle and once inside they find Jaime Typhon and after the shock of seeing him alive Morrigan tells them he is coming into the city and will attempt to assassinate Dan Scott to which Lucas grudgingly accepts must happen if they want to survive. It was Brooke Scott who was trying to find peace during this time that she spends a lot of time by herself and visiting one of her favorite spots she instead of finding peace finds Julian Baker, and Lindsay Baker kissing and she watches this in shock as they are brother and sister, but eventually Julian departs leaving Lindsay behind and when Brooke goes to leave Lindsay speaks to her revealing she knew that she was there the entire time. Going inside and talking to Lindsay she discovers the girl that was so angry all that time ago is now basically insane as Lindsay questions whether Brooke is trying to get between her and Julian and despite saying she is not Lindsay proceeds to threaten her and reveal that she murdered her sister, and parents after they tried to get between her and Julian. Revealing to Brooke the events of the murders she attempts to strike Brooke but Brooke is able to dodge the attack and get out of the house running to the keep to find her brother who she knows will keep her safe. Instead of finding her brother she finds her father of whom questions her as to what is wrong and in a moment of weakness she reveals the truth and instead of protecting her Dan threatens Lucas's life if she reveals what happened with Lindsay and following this she runs to her room locking the door behind her and crying.
Waking up the next morning she goes to the kitchen to find breakfast but while walking in the halls is grabbed from behind and pulled into the basement where she is confronted by Jaime Typhon of whom reveals himself as a survivor of House Typhon and the two speak for some time with Jaime demanding that Brooke look deeper into what happened at Tree Hill and she agrees wanting to help Jaime and work against her father. Led on by the plotting of Jaime she gets him inside the inner keep where he tells her is the evidence of what happened to get the Orcs inside of the city, and entering the room he tells her he apologizes and then ties her hands and puts a knife to her kneck. Using the threat of killing Brooke he is able to get himself past the inner keep guards and into the hall room with Dan where Nathan is also present, and Jaime threatens to kill Dan if he doesn't hear the truth but to the shock of Brooke and confusion of Jaime Dan just moves behind his desk to grab a bow from the wall and as Jaime screams to know the truth Dan just begins laughing causing Jaime to let go of Brooke and charge at Dan knocking Nathan to the ground, but as he gets near Dan he is struck in the leg by an arrow by Lucas who drops the bow and goes to Brooke while Nathan restrains Jaime who continues screaming. Now restrained Jaime begins openly talking about what he knows and the fact that Dan Scott had sealed his family into the keep as well as known about the coming of the Orcs, and while speaking he is struck through the face by an arrow as Dan kills him.
Following the killing of Jaime its Dan who is confronted by Lucas who knew Jaime as they were of similar age and as Lucas and Dan's fight gets worse Dan's guards arrive and at Dan's orders take Lucas into custody putting him a cell to cool off leaving Dan, Nathan, and Brooke alone. Without Lucas to protect her Brooke is overcome by fear and all the questions she has in her head over what Jaime told her she is unable to ask and allows her father and brother to force her silence again using the threat of violence against Lucas to further put fear into her. Waking up in the morning Brooke looks for her brother and discovers that Lucas has been sentenced to two years in prison, as he is also being tried for conspiracy alongside five other knights who Dan is blaming for being part of a movement to attempt to kill him, and leaving Dan she goes to the cells where she wants to find Lucas and his knights in the cell. Stopped from entering the cells themselves by guards she is told that no one can visit Lucas as he has been labeled a threat to the people alongside his knights she breaks down crying and is comforted by Lord Primus Amatius who is in command of the cells. Primus sends away several of the guards leaving only himself and his son Lucius Amatius and then after talking over things with Brooke Primus lets Lucius take her into the cells where she will be able to talk to Lucas one time but he lets her know that this wont happen again as Primus is being stripped of his command in favor of Marcelet Rivel who is a Dan Scott loyalist. Brooke meets with Lucas and the two talk for some time with Lucas forcing Brooke to promise him she will take charge of the new duels and as they continue to talk she is stopped by the arrival of Tristan Gencien of whom as a loyalist to Dan forces her out of the room. Keeping her promise Brooke goes to Loras Tyrell who Lucas had suggested but finds that Loras has been placed on house arrest following what happened with Lucas as he is seen as too loyal to Lucas and thus she goes to the next person Lucas suggested in the form of Thomas Sifflet and finding him fishing at the lake its Brooke who speaks to him and convinces him to take on the role of the defender of Tree hill. |

Second Battle of Tree HillMain Article : Second Battle of Tree Hill
As the Lucernian/Gondorian/High Forest alliance destroyed the Orcs that had held the Gondor siege of Minas Ithil for many years immediate plan became the movement of portions of this army towards the besieged city of Tree Hill. Jurden over the decade of the siege had become obsessed with maintaining his own power, and had basically become uninterested in actually ending the siege through conventional means. Alongside this he also had a growing belief that the humans were completely useless and for all of these reasons Jurden Hardaxe made no effort to double his scouts or anything that might have assisted him in stopping the coming ambush. And if all of this added up wasn't enough he was also still being whispered to by Morrigan who was telling him that the crisis was the other Orcs in the area. Following the gathering of the forces of the alliance in the area they would organize themselves into seven main armies. The 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 7th armies would travel towards the port of Klausburg. Landing at Klausburg they would meet with the local leadership there and made their decisions on the direction of there forces. The 1st, 3rd and Fourth would move up the Oakheart River and land near Castle Prennig where they would move from there towards Tree Hill. The 7th army would be sent up the Bresklo River where it would land at the ruins of Glendt Hold. The seventh army would be joined in this campaign by forces mobilized from House Brentfurd as well as House Winklebock. The 2nd army would land at Vinterbold Hold north of Tree Hill and joined by forces from the area they would prepare to move to Castle Interbold and then to the north side of Tree Hill. The 5th army led by the Westerlands Arch Lord would land at Castle Hackenholt where they would move against Tree Hill from the west. The final army in the 6th army would be formed from the southern vassals of the Stormlands and led by House Crane they would move themselves to the city of Leiblinshire where they would attack towards Tree Hill form the south.
The arrival of the vast armies of William Lovie III. would have major effects on those forces already around the Stormlands. The first major effect was following the news of victory at Minus Ithil. House Guntbold who had been named the Arch Lord of the Stormlands following the collapse of Tree Hill realized that with the goals of William becoming clear they were going to have to pick a side in the coming conflict. It was Lothar Guntbold that would push his nephew Edric Guntbold who was at the time the Arch Lord of the Stormlands to see the error of the side they had picked and to call a council of House Guntbold. Following this call it was Lothar that left Guntbold Hold to return to Lucerne and be at the side of his friend James Lovie II. The council would be attended by all members of House Guntbold except for Winfred Guntbold, and his wife Ophellia who remained at Klausburg but sent their son Winfred Guntbold II. to act in his stead. At this meeting it was decided that House Guntbold would change sides to William Lovie III. and would send both Winfred Guntbold II. and Athilda Guntbold to William Lovie III. to open this dialogue. The pair would take a ship from Guntbold Hold and travel along the rivers of the Valley of Lucerne where they would eventually stop at Vindale Hold which they knew would be the eventual crossing point of the armies of William in their move back west. When the fleet of William arrived Vindale Hold it was Athilda and Winfred that would meet with the leadership of the army revealing details of the area.
The night was spent with Athilda meeting with William, and members of the Shadow Council and it was during this meeting that Edward Cullen discovered her Magi abilities and confronted her on why she did not reveal this before meeting with the prince. Telling them her fear of reprisals she was forgiven by the group and continued to tell them about the situation in the Stormlands. Athilda would let the group know that the Guntbolds were willing to assist William despite what was a top-down command from King James Lovie II. to not assist his army in the movement against Tree Hill, but she wanted assurances that the Guntbolds would not be punished following the campaign. Needing more forces, and not wanting resistance from human forces as they moved against Tree Hill it was William that made the decision to agree to this arrangement. With this agreement in place, it was Winfred Guntbold II. that would travel back to Guntbold Hold with the Guntbold ship to tell the Guntbold leadership about the agreement. Athilda would remain behind in part as a hostage of sorts but her good impression on the Shadow Council had led to her joining them as an advisor of sorts. Clearing the South
Clearing the WestClearing the NorthClearing the EastRetaking the Capital
Waiting for the night to come William would be able to watch for the first and last time the Orcs setting off their massive drums and horns in order to force the defenders to be unable to sleep during the night and thus exhausted during the day. Hearing this many among the attacking army grew even more angry at the fact that the defenders had been forced to endure this for all this time without anyone helping them. William would spend the night with Leven, Jasper, Emmett, and Edward as the Shadow Council as they were not openly to each other calling themselves spent a few last hours with each other before they all knew everything was going to change. Finding themselves greeted throughout the night by every lord who not wanted to speak to William they couldn't help but see how different things had become for the naive group. During one of these meetings he would talk with Charles Swan who by this point he was beginning to view as a father of sorts, and discussing with him his relationship with Isabella he would bring up the idea of a betrothal. Charles was happy about this and agreed on the spot, and following this agreement it was Charles and William that would meet together with many of the remaining nobles and this betrothal was brought up during many of these meetings thus spreading word of its agreement. The Orcs by this point had no contact with their scouts, and yet they still remained completely unaware. Morrigan would at this point make her final step towards sealing the fate of Jurden Hardaxe when she would convince Jurden to host a large party for his Orcs which made them all drunk and even less prepared. The Massacre
As the night neared the Orcs would begin their party and the loud noise would alert the alliance that this was underway, and also awake most of the defenders of Tree Hill of whom were prepared for what many believed was the final attack. The party continued, and the alliance moved itself completely into position against the now scout less Orcish force, and pushed in many places all the way against the wall with the entire Orcish force within the city itself or dead outside. The night came and the army would move on their predetermined signal of which moved everything forward. The infiltration of House Scarlet into the under tunnels of the city begin as Saiden Scarlet led a large force of hundreds into the tunnels in the goal of reaching the estate of House James and once the attack was underway they would spring upon the already ambushed Orcs. From the west the forces of House Greymane, and House Ordos would move themselves through the broken shattered western gate and encountered hundreds of Orcs in differing stages of drunkenness and the fighting wouldn't spark any concerns from the Orcs as it was all believed still to be a part of the party. Seeing the ambush was underway it was at this moment that Morrigan finally ended the charade and came upon Jurden while he was standing in his residence.
Aftermath
The battle would end with the complete destruction of the Orc army and the liberation of Tree Hill. When the armies of Lucerne and Gondor entered the remains of Tree Hill, they found the sad remnants of a once truly mighty city. Food, aid and supplies were rushed to the city, but before the true rebuild could begin Andrew Lovie would take the reigns of the King of Lucerne following a duel with his father. |
White Knife Marriage
Main Article : The Wedding of Miley Black and Winfred Manderly
White Knife Marriage Secure the white knife for the Kingdom. Go there and create another friend where once there was nothing. Do it for the Valley. | ||
---|---|---|
Following the coronotation of William Lovie III. the tournament of Nortburg was held to celebrate this occasion, and during this many foreign kingdoms sent people to represent them and try to regrow relations with Lucerne as most relations were on life support under the rule of Bill Lovie. One of these groups was House Manderly of the White Knife, and they would send many members including Wylis Manderly and his wife and daughter, as well as Marlon Manderly the uncle of Wylis. Wendal, Winfred, and Wynafryd Manderly also traveled to Lucerne in order to help arrange the marriage contract between House Manderly and the Kingdom of Lucerne, and during this time Wendal would take part in the tournament of Nortburg where he listed quite well.
Once the Manderlys returned to White Knife the wedding was already being planned, and it takes longer then expected after Ironborn raid several ships filled with wedding supplies purchased from Pontus.
Arriving at the White Knife Lucas Scott was shown around the land by Wylis Manderly and his wife of whom held hands the entire time they walked Lucas around White Harbor. The two would be interrupted when a messenger told Wylis that Domeric Bolten and his cousin had arrived in White Harbor with several other nobles, and wished to attend the wedding. Domeric Bolten would demand food be given to him so that he was under the guest right while he remained in White Harbor, and an honorable man Wyman Manderly would give him this while also allowing Domeric, Jordin, and Cerwynn Bolten to attend the wedding itself. Before the wedding itself Domeric was able to convince Wylis Manderly the heir of White Knife to allow him to see Wyman and Domeric finally speaking to the Lord of White Harbor would attempt to convinse him to move away from the Lucernian direction he was going, and at first the Lord of House Manderly planned on lying and saying he was still thinking, but as Domeric seemed to be such an honest man Lord Manderly would be honest with Domeric as well revealing that after the wedding the negotiations would begin in order to merge White Knife with Lucerne. Apologizing to Domeric, he would tell him to enjoy the wedding but there was nothing he could do to change anything as Wyman knew that Ramsey had killed his sister and couldn`t accept this, nor could he accept aligning himself with the goverment of the Kingdom of Bolten, and with this Domeric left the room completely discouraged that he had failed so completely.
Following the confrontation of sorts between Domeric, and Wyman Manderly the Lord of White Knife would command the wedding to move forward, and without any further discussions the wedding would move forward. The wedding went by without a hitch as Miley Black, and Winfred Manderly became man in wife in a marriage that most saw seemed to already have found love between the two, and Lucas would make a point to meet fully with Domeric Bolten following the end of the wedding ceremony. With the ceremony Domeric would once again speak with Lord Manderly of whom this time refused to even speak with him sending instead his brother Marlon Manderly to tell Domeric that he was happy he came but it was time for the Boltens to leave White Knife. Following this Lucas would be alerted to Domeric being in the main hall with Jordin and Cerwynn by Egbert Elric, and Julessa Bearmant and he leaves the docks to find Domeric waiting outside the hall for him.

Battle of Berne
Main Article : Battle of Berne
The Battle of Berne This is where this divide ends. After we take this city there is nothing stopping the Kingdom of Lucerne from becoming exactly what we always dreamed it would be. | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
With the valley clear of Bill, and Sean Lovie, William went about attempting to gain control by eliminating those that were loyal to his father, but most of all he declared war on his father's supporters and very soon after doing this he came to understand that Sean Lovie had taken control of the city of Berne which he didn't even know existed. Under Alistair Bedregen the loyalists loyal to William were sending word to William outside Berne for the first bit of the control by Sean and thus for this early time they knew many of those loyal to Sean or at least to afraid to resist Sean. With this knowledge William rallied the Order of the Red Dragon, alongside a large force of House Lovie and sent this large force to besiege Berne. When his forces arrived there he they saw that Berne was a death trap, and that while they could feasibly attack the city the casualties would be horrendous and on top of that they might not even succeed. Knowing this William ordered them to dig in, and make sure no assistance came from land, and they were forced to live off the small parcel of land within Berne, and to burn through their internal supplies. With the front door shut for the moment William went about his plan to take control of Berne which would revolve around building a tunnel from Lucerne into the rear of Berne and fighting inside from that direction, while also hoping to starve out the defenders so that they would surrender. As William devised his plan where they would complete the underway in its route to Berne and thus they would break in behind the defenses and take the city from within, the Order of the Red Dragon begin having difficulties holding the main entrance as the Orcs in the region were a constant problem. Knowing they needed to be somewhat quick with their siege they were in trouble as unfortunately the tunneling behind Berne would take some time, and so he needed to block the front of Berne without having his army sitting there for the four years the underway would take to complete.
In order to do this William sent emissaries from the Order of the Green Dragon to meet with the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas whose forest extended close to the boundaries of Berne and thus would be able to assist in blocking them in if they so chose to do. The Order of the Green Dragon was sent and led by Demi Hill of whom was accompanied by Franklin Brent and his wife Karyl Reyne who led a force of some six hundred House Brent forces alongside three hundred men led by Dexter Hill to act as guards for the mission. When his emissaries arrived they were greeted by Legolas, and Alleria Windrunner of whom were accompanied by nearly three hundred Sindar Elves, and they would greet them with friendship and take them to Darnassus. Traveling through the woods of Quel'Thalas its Franklin, Karyl, and Demi that discuss the current situation in the area and discover that the Quel'Thalasian Elves are not the only major Elven power in the area as Alleria tells them about Lothlorian. While being there to make an alliance with Quel'Thalas its Demi Hill and Franklin that both make mental notes to discuss also furthering the Lucernian presence in the area by also forming a relationship with the Kingdom of Lothlorian. In Darnassus they would be treated to a beautiful feast and Alleria took Franklin and his wife around the capital before they would have the meeting later that night. Seeing the size and beauty of Darnassus, and the kindness of the Windrunner siblings Franklin would have a very high opinion of the Sindar Elves, and he took this opinion into the meeting that night. At the meeting they found that Quel'Thalas was willing to do this in return for an alliance with them which Demi Hill was quick to give them, as William was more then willing to make an alliance with the Elves. Not just happy with an alliance the it was Alleria Windrunner that would offer Franklin and the members of the Lucernian entourage a chance to visit the Dor'Danil Barrow Den where they would be able to enter the Emarald Dream if they so choose.
After discussing what would happen there its the groups decision that they will all accept this gift except for Demi Hill, and outside of Demi they are then taken by Clintar Dreamwalker of whom is the Arch Druid of Quel'Thalas, and Saelar Dewwalker of whom is the Guardian of the Claw and leader of the Dor'danil Barrow, to the Dor'Danil Barrow Dens which are located on the edge of Darnassus. While the group spends several days in the Barrow Dens a letter arrives from William stating that a revolt has broken out in Hillsbrad and since they are closer Franklin is tasked to travel there with all speed and end the revolt. The Quel'Thallasians reveal that they can portal Franklin and a small group to near Hillsbrad as there is a forest there with a way stone and Demi Hill agrees that once he wakes from the Emerald Dream he will go there through the portal and gives the letter to Alleria who will give it to Franklin. Following the agreement its Legalos that would lead a force of some two thousand fighters to a forward forest that they would fortify and from there they would be able to adequately block the Orcs from being able to interfere in any real way. So with the front door closed his forces returned to Lucerne while a small contingent remained along with a larger force of the Elves of Quel'Thalas. Franklin Brent and his group wake from the Emerald Dream and with Alavanna holding a visablly shaken Franklin of whom is in tears as he wakes from the Emerald Dream, and taking him by the arm she leads him to a meeting room where Clintar, and Nylindia wait inside. The group sits together and as Franklin slowly recovers from waking from the Emerald Dream they discuss that Tular, and Alavanna will be joining him as he travels not back to Berne, but instead travels through a portal formed for them in Darnassus taking them to a small forest east of Hillsbrad where Franklin is told William Lovie III. has sent him a letter which after reading Franklin nods and asks for them to take him to the portal. As Demi Hill was leaving to return to Berne it's Alleria Windrunner that said that she would be joining them with some two hundred heavily trained and equipped Sentinels at the main Lucerne camp, and this was once again quickly accepted by Demi Hill. Meeting Ezio EderizSee Also : Ezio Ederiz
As things were happening outside the city and making the siege move positively inside the city there was chaos as Sean Lovie lost his mind and was the source of madness and chaos for the citizens. Ezio after saving the life of Thomas Lovie and watching Allison Arryn die would decide to move aggressively to allow William into the city, and thus would make his way to the western tower and prepare to send a message to the Lucernians sieging the city. Ezio enclosed in the message the entirety that he knew about the defenses of Berne, and a message that the city was ready to be joined with William's forces. He had hoped that if he gave as much information that William would still attack even if he didn't believe Ezio, but he also understood the distinct possiblity that William wouldn't believe him and would just continue to siege the city. Ezio waited at the tower for some time alongside the rebels that he had gained control of, and waited patiently for a response. He got his anwser when a Lucernian messenger approached the tower, and sent a letter up to Ezio. In the letter William told Ezio that he needed to come down from the tower so that they could discuss this, and that no harm would come to him if he did this. For all Ezio knew William had become his fathers son since the last time he had seen him, and thus suffering from the same madness as his brother, but he knew he had to do something so he trusted the devil he didn't know over the mad man that he did. Ezio gave command of the tower over to his top man in the form of Martin Arryn of whom had snuck his way into the tower and convinsed the men to join the rebellion.
When Ezio got to the bottom of the tower he was grabbed by some five men all clad in golden armor, and these men escorted him to the Lucernians camp. One of the men identified himself as James Junnsworth and told Ezio that if he planned to harm the king he would be doing it over all of their bodies. When he arrived at the camp he immediatly knew which one William was when he saw the golden haired boy walking up to him in his magnificant armor. Restrained by the men around him he saw how little he was trusted by the arranged forces, but he wasn't bitter as he could understand their fear. He spoke as best he could and told William of what was happening inside the fortress, and that every day they delayed the citizens inside were being killed in ever increasing numbers. As the conversation continued Ezio accompanied William inside his tent with Jasper, Leven, Marcel Lovie II., and Draco Highmore and then spoke openly of the murder of Allison, the rapes, and for Andrew the most horrifying news that Amber Heard was captured and now held in a cage beside Sean's throne. Ezio would at this point tell William about much of the things he had done for his father, and would make William understand that he had done all he could to help him after he had learned how brilliant and how much potential William had. Leven would suggest that during their initial attempts to clear the gatehouse that much of what Ezio suggested he did made sense as to why they found it so easy in certain places to get what they wanted. Infiltrating the Tower
With Ezio done telling him what was happening William told him he needed some time to think and that while he trusted him, he needed to plan on the best way forward. Ezio told him that he had control of the first tower, and thus he could get some of William's men inside that tower if that would make him feel better about the whole thing. William liked this plan, and it was then that he asked whether or not Hanna Arryn, and her sister Aria were safe inside the city, and Ezio told him that House Arryn was now in hiding in the city outside of Byron Arryn who was being forced to sit and watch Allison's body be violated by Sean Lovie. Andrew was thankful that Hanna was fine, and because of this he told Ezio that he would have his anwser in an hour. With that William called in his commanders and they discussed their options about how to move forward. After talking for some time it became clear that they needed to gather more troops, and especially Andrew wanted to have some of his up and coming leadership involved so that they would feel important to him. He planned to travel to Forks where he would meet with these leaders and make them aware of their involvement and then they would launch the attack. He got Ezio back in the tent, and he told him that he needed to allow his men to take control of the first tower, and that this would amount to his test of loyalty. Ezio agreed without hesitation and left with Jasper, and Leven to make the arrangements of which Franklin Brent would volunteer to command the first forces into the tower. Emmett was left in command of the siege while William was gone alongside the commanders, and this would be the situation that was left as William left for Forks. Franklin Brent would lead a force of men alongside his friend Dexter Hill, and several others of whom they would enter the first tower using massive ropes hung down by the loyalist Arryn rebels within the tower. Meeting in Forks
Discovery of Betrayal
It was at this point that Edric Nighting would arrive in Forks where he had made the decision to turn against his family and reveal the plans of his family. Edric Nighting had several weeks before this begin hearing talk from his father and older brother that they planned to rise against House Scott and murder the Scotts in the city before taking control of Tree Hill itself. He would watch his brother in secret as his brother James Nighting II. followed Brooke Scott watching her movements, and watching her himself he discovered that she was the mistress of William Lovie III. through listening in on a conversation between Brooke and Haley Scott. Learning of this relationship between William and Brooke the loyal Edric Nighting would depart Tree Hill by horse with his friend Hanzal Grightling heading towards Forks where they had heard William Lovie III. was meeting with his wife and the leadership of Forks. Arriving at Forks the two would quickly gain an audience with the king of whom was surrounded at the time by Charlie Swan, Leven Martell, and Bella Swan, and seeing how influential the group was Edric would immediately tell the king what he knew which horrified the group of whom had already rallied their forces and was planning to move out the next day to Berne. Realizing the main forces still needed to go to Berne he would command Jasper Hale to lead a secondary force to Tree Hill in order to defend the Scott's once the Nighting's moved against them, and after discussing it was decided that Jasper would move south through the province of Rosten where he would summon a force from that province's lord in House Elric alongside Northern Tree Hill's lordn in House Guntbold and then lead them southward to Tree Hill.
Following the breaking up of the meeting Jasper, Leven, and Bella would follow William back to his tent where Jasper would convince William to take him with him to Berne and instead send Leven to Tree Hill. Making up excuses about why she needed to go instead of him Leven was left shocked by what Jasper did and thus limply accepted this change of plans, and with a kiss to her forward she and William would say goodnight and following this Jasper and Leven left the tent. Leaving the tent Leven would follow Jasper trying to get him to explain himself, but he refused until she became quite agitated leading to an argument between the long time friends. Fighting loudly forced Jasper to take the argument into his tent where he would reveal that he did not trust her abilities to protect William considering how in love with him she was, and following this she would punch him in the face before returning to her own tent. The next day William, Jasper and the larger force from Forks would leave the city leaving Leven and a few hundred men at arms and knights to move south towards Castle Elric where she would go to defend the mistress of her beloved. Sneaking Inside
When William Lovie arrived back at Berne flanked by the forces of House Swan, Scarlet, Crane, Starke, Martell, Skane, and many of their vassals he entered the command tent and prepared alongside his commanders the method by which they would do this. Ezio told them that the only real way into the valley of Berne was to take control of the towers defending the passes, and this was possible since they controlled the first tower. From the first tower they would attack the second tower, and then the third, and fourth control towers which would allow them to bring the entire army into the Valley where the defenders would be unprepared for their entry. Once this was achieved they must take control of the fifth tower which was inside the City of Berne itself and was connected through a long tunnel which could be locked from the inside meaning if they failed to take it before they were noticed it would be shut and they would have to attack the main walls.
With this plan in place William Lovie would send the forces of House Scarlet led by Darion, and Saiden Scarlet to enter the First Tower where they would push their full forces and they alone would be responsible for working alongside the rebels in order to take control of the towers. They would be assisted by the Order of the Golden Dragon of whom was forced to follow William Lovie of whom was going to assist here alongside Edward Cullen and several members of the Order of the Blue Dragon, as well Orival Crane would convince William to let him join the forces attacking the towers. Entering the tower and joining the Arryn loyalists, and Franklin Brent and his forces that had initially taken control of the tower from the rebels and had held it while the main forces gathered. At that final moment Robb, and Jon Starke joined the assault group and this would force William to also take Wilheim alongside with him as Wilheim now wouldn't take no for an answer. The Battle
With the main force now preparing to enter the first pass into Berne they only needed to see the response from the second tower to know when to move in, and they would get that call the first night as they would be signaled by a flag hanging from the wall set out by the tower forces. The Tower forces would wait until night, and that night as they moved forward the few guards meant to make sure such infiltration of the towers were not possible were rebels and thus they allowed the tower forces to infiltrate the towers, and within they found the mercenary forces of Sean Lovie in the form of the Stormblown. The fight for the tower was swift as with most of their forces asleep the few on sentry duty found themselves being attacked by a huge number of troops flooding into the tower. As the Stormblown moved to raise the alarm they found the alarm room locked, and when they finally broke inside they found inside several rebels of whom killed the Stormblown that tried to enter the room. With the tower taken Orival Crane would raise the flag thus giving the main force the safe call to enter the first pass. Torgon Skane alongside the other commanders would move their forces alongside the Elves and reached the very edge of the first pass as the attack move forward, and during this they also moved forward with the siege machines that everyone hoped they would have no need of using. At the third tower they would basically be allowed in as the rebels had taken complete control over this tower, and the few members of the Stormblown that were present inside the tower were barely able to get out of their beds before they were killed by the vengeful rebels and the incoming Lucernians.
The fourth tower was the true test of the attack as while it was held by the forces of House Krinner who was a member of the rebellion the tower held the largest contingent of the Stormblown outside of the city itself. Robb Starke, and Wilheim Martell alongside Robb Starke would lead a contingent of forces east of the tower to cut off any kind of relief once the main attack went forward, and with that the main assault could begin on the fourth tower. As the Lucernians made their way into the tunnels approaching the fourth tower they were spotted by a Stormblown soldier of whom alerted the rest of the force to a betrayal, and with this becoming clear the forces of House Krinner would assemble under the command of Danzal, and Benjamin Krinner of whom defended the tunnel route heading towards the fifth tower so that none of the Stormblown could warn their comrades, and inside the tower House Krinner under the command of Oskar Kinner the defenders would block the gate into the alarm room thus preventing for a time the forces of the Stormblown from gaining entry to the alarm. A fierce battle would commense between the defenders in House Krinner and the Stormblown. As the forces of Lucerne attempted to enter the fight they were forced to attack through defended barriers quickly set up by the forces of the Stormblown in order to resist the attackers. During the fighting here Darion Scarlet would become famous for defeating the Stormblown second in command in single combat after they entered the last room of the tower and it was held by the Stormblown second in command. With his death the rest of the Stormblown slowly surrendered, and with that the flag was raised and the main army understood that the way into the valley was clear. The Final Tower
As the main army moved into the valley silently in the darkness of the night the tower forces moved into the tunnels approaching the fifth and final tower. Ezio had told them that they had to get to the other end without being stopped or else the way would be blocked and there would be no way in except a truly viscous fight for the valley. As they entered the tunnel and were only two minutes away everyone including the main force heard a massive horn go off, and the rebels told William that someone had set off one of the alarms of the towers. With this all sense of stealth went out the window and the tower force charged into the tunnel in the hopes of reaching the gate controls before it was shut. As they ran down the tunnel they watched as the massive portcullis gate was slowly shutting, and then suddenly as they were getting closer it slowed and then stopped and they could hear the cries of battle at the other side, and as they reached it they entered a brutal battle between members of House Arryn and the Stormblown who were trying to shut the gate. With the entry of the Lucernians the battle went away from them, but the Stormblown survivors were able to retreat in good form and make their way towards the Berne Keep where they would blow the alarm horn again and the Stormblown throughout Berne would retreat to the keep alongside those still loyal to Sean Lovie although that number was very slight now that House Arryn was in full rebellion. With the stormblown in full retreat the defenders that were on the wall moved completely into the rebellion allowing the main force to enter through the front gate, as the rebels opened the gate letting them inside. The rebels, and the tower forces would move throughout the city, and kill or capture anyone still flying the colors of the Stormblown and as well as this making sure that everyone knew that the city was Lucernian again and they had nothing to fear. Battle of KrinnerMain Article : Battle of Krinner
As the Lucerne forces took the final tower before the wall there were some who suspected something was wrong, but all orders were that everyone stayed inside so no one was allowed to leave the inner fortress to investigate, and in order to occupy the forces he had at alert (and in order to further make sure the defenses failed as was hinted at by Sean Lovie during the final duel with William) Sean would command that they attack the House Krinner estate of which was the site of the retreating nobles of Berne. While the commoners and the vast majority of the population had fled into the deeper sections of the city, and to the walls where the more Lucernian houses guarded it was the nobles that fled into the estate of House Krinner. Other then the nobles and politically far more important then that was the fact that Alistair Bedregen had retreated into the Keep alongside Thomas Lovie of whom was the true target of Sean Lovie this late in the fight. News reached them late that Alistair had gone there following the attempt on his life and Thomas and when it became clear this was where he was Sean would send basically everyone available including most of the defenses of the tunnel in order to try and kill Thomas. The estate itself was a sort of mini castle that was built into a large cave deep in the northern section of the city and was defensible from one large tower that covered the entire entrance, and from the ramparts built into the gatehouse.
It was this spot that the forces of the Stormblown, and the other True Sons loyalist houses would move towards in heavy numbers in order to try and complete the commands of Sean Lovie. Some three hundred Stormblown (including many of their most elite members, and two of their top three commander) alongside some four hundred more True Sons loyalist (of which only the fifty from House Ignirt would actually take part in the battle while the rest simply miled about faking interest in the siege. House Ingirt would be this only truly loyalist element due to the fact that Lord Beren Ingirt's daughter Lia Ingirt, and heir Harren Ingirt were captives of the prince and he was basically blackmailed into supporting Sean Lovie's forces out of fear for his two children. The forces of the True Sons would charge out from the shadows and attack without even a call for surrender, as they were commanded to destroy them and thus no surrender was neccessary or warrented. Charging the walls they suffered accurate and deadly archer fire from the large tower that surveyed the courtyard, and the archers on the ramparts. During this charge Lord Beren Ingirt would fall with an arrow to the neck and with his death the forces of House Ingirt fell under the command of Beren's brother Brandon Ingirt of whom would silently slip away with most of the relief forces moving them towards the prison where they would take part in the taking of the prison. With no cover the Stormblown and others got to the walls much diminished but still with high strength, and once at the gate they bashed at it with quickly made battering rams and climbed the sides of the wall to get to the ramparts, while hoisting a large ladder against the tower.
Taking of the PrisonHunting a Beast
It would be Forder Braxton, and his son Markus Braxton that would be sent to Berne by James Lovie II. to represent the dealings of the Circle of Magi and a believed loyalist faction, although Bill Lovie had no intention of ever assisting Sean as he wanted William to gain victory, but this was not known by Fordor of whom arrived in Berne to find the city in Chaos and surrounded by the Lucernians. Traveling into the city through Magi he would meet with Sean Lovie and at this point he would join the upper tier of the leadership of the True Sons of Lucerne executing several loyalists alongside his son, but it would be only a few weeks before the city came under assault by the Lucernians. During the battle Fordor and Markus would wander the city of Berne killing at random as was their command by James Lovie if/and when the city fell, and reaching the prisons hoping to kill as many valuable hostages as he could before leaving Forder would be shocked to find Morrigan his old Circle of Magi partner waiting in the gallows before the prison entrance surrounded by the dead bodies of the Stormblown mercenaries guarding the prison.
Confused why Morrigan was resisting him he told her he was only doing the work of James Lovie, and at this she would retort saying that so was she and then launched a killing spell at Markus, but it was deflected killing the two guards accompanying them, and then fighting Forder, and Markus who barely managed to resist her strength. As the three fought Forder, and Markus were no match for the more powerful Morrigan and Forder dropped his wand surrendering, but after surrendering he expected to be allowed to leave but Morrigan instead slew young Markus and then prepared to kill Forder but he unleashed a Magi blast at her and was able to escape through hidden tunnels. Duel with Sean Lovie
As he entered the room Sean remained silent but the look on his face told Andrew that Sean had a plan and whatever happened this plan was something he believed could work. Amber Heard never thought she was going to survive to see William again, and the sight of him caused her to leap up and this led to great pain as the chain around her neck kept her stationary. Laughing at what had happened to Amber through the fact that she was crying and holding her neck the situation turned as William charged forward only stopped by Sean holding his sword to Amber`s neck.
Death is the End
Grabbing Sean by the shoulders he found his brother crying, and Sean grasped onto Williams arms as if to try and hold onto him. There was no resistance, and as William held the sword to his chest he held a moment and looked into Sean`s eyes waiting for his last words. Sean in that moment would tell William that Bill still lived and had gone west to France, and would begin to start an apology when William stabbed him through the chest and covered his mouth with his hand. Looking behind him at the lifeless body of Amber he would proceed to be overcome with rage and strangle Sean as the last of his life left him. Getting up he walked back over to Amber, and ignored the sounds of crashing as his men attempted to break there way through the gate, and the windows. Kneeling beside Amber he ripped some cloth from his tunic and covered her wound not wanting her to be seen like this. As he wiped her wound her arm would move up and grasp onto his, and her final grasp for life would continue and it gave the two former lovers one last chance to talk to each other.
Following her grasping of his arm the two would talk briefly as she bled out but she held on for long enough to make sure William knew that Thomas was his child, and the two would heart sadly say goodbye to each other before finally she bled out from the horrible wound on her shoulder. It was several minutes of banging on the door with William crying into the hair of Amber before the rest of his men were able to get into the throne room, and by this point the Battle of Berne was over with the remaining forces of the True Sons of Lucerne either dead or having surrendered, but for William it felt increasingly like a hollow victory. As Faye, Jasper and Emmett tried to console him and help him with Amber he would refuse without words picking her body up and carrying her out of the throne room before collapsing outside of the inner keep where he would be helped up by Faye. He whispers to Faye that he needs to take her out of the fortress so he can bury her, and Faye goes ahead clearing the gatehouse, and letting the front gate open where William carries her all the way out of Berne and reaches the Valley of Berne where the large Lucernian army awaits and it is at this point that Alice meet him and he finally surrenders Ambers body to Jasper and breaks down in Alice's arms. Meeting a Son
With Thomas sleeping William gathers with the Lucernian army leadership and following a long discussion on their next steps he commands his friend Hanna Arryn be brought to him, and then the meeting breaks up and joined by Jasper, and Edward he returns to his tent where saying goodbye to them he goes into the tent and finds Alice sleeping on his bed holding a sleeping Thomas. Looking at the scene in front of him he starts crying as he thinks about the loss of Amber, and at the sound of his crying Alice wakes up and gets out of bed gently leaving Thomas in bed and the two siblings hug. Thomas eventually wakes up to the talking of Alice and William and Thomas at first only wants Alice, but William goes to him and talks to him about his love for Amber and when Thomas reveals that Amber had talked about William to him almost every night William tells him the story of how he met Amber of which was a story that Amber had told him a thousand times before. Control of Berne
Meeting with Hanna Arryn the two old friends discuss a more personal view of what happened in Berne, and Hanna reveals to him the depths of some of the things that happened, but also refuses during their conversation to come with him back to Lucerne telling him that Aria needs her more. Discussing Aria, and her father Byron it becomes clear that he needs to speak with Aria and asks Hanna to bring her to him something she agrees to if William agrees to be lenient on her father of which William agrees to out of love for Hanna. The conversation ends with Aria and William agreeing that in one month it will be the leadership of Berne that will travel to Lucerne to meet with William and the Kings Council who will decide the future of Berne. William Lovie III. leaves Berne with the majority of the army but leaves behind several thousand as a garrison of the city under the command of Dylan Steinmare, and this garrison is under orders to further the control of the crown over Berne who at this point there is still fear may be mixed in its loyalties. |
Invasion of Westbridge
Main Article : Invasion of Westbridge
Infiltration of Westbridge This was a completely different way to fight a war. We had practiced it in Fairmarket, and to a certain extent again in the Riverlands, but it wasn't until Westbridge that I fully understood the scope of what we had learned. |
---|
Infiltration of Westbridge
Before the actual invasion could be started, and two weeks before the forces of Lucerne begin marching northwards towards the land of House Malfoy, William Lovie got together with the Order of the Violet Dragon in order to change the way they were going to fight wars. William understood that the high walls, and formidable defenders meant that an attack would be met with heavy casualties and in order to continue expanding there was no way he could afford taking the casualites that would occur in a straight up siege. In order to bybass this he and the Order of the Violet dragon planned to use an incredibly high amount (the entire order) in order to assasinate key defenders that were not wanted after the siege, as well as to sabotage several sections of the defences as well. The plan called for also the infiltration of elements of the Order of the Green Dragon into the city for the purpose of cultivating relationships with those they might want in leadership positions after the battle.
As the armies of Lucerne massed in the valley the Order of the Violet Dragon moved northward in their entire strength and silently over the course of a few days infiltrated the city of Westbridge. The Order already had sympathizers in the city as House Malfoy was extremely unpopular in Westbridge and as such it wasn't hard to find people that were loyal. With roughly a month before the army of Lucerne was to arrive the forces of the Order of the Violet Dragon went about changing schedules for the defenders so as to weaken sections of the wall. Those who it was planned to survive the conflict were basically given vacations on the day of the conflict so that they would not be caught up in the conflict. As well as this they begin setting up a rather sophisticated, and well equipped rebel army north of the city that was to be used by the Order of the Blue Dragon in order to facilitate their distraction north of the city. This force was headed by the realm of Heathfall which was led by the exile of Lucerne in the form of Dran Arryn. This force numbered in its thousands and would basically form the entirety of the northern assault alongside the Order of the Blue Dragon. Working alongside this army though was the army of Dowenshire of whom also was assisting thus bringing their numbers actually quite high. With the plan in place for the invasion of Westbridge, Edward and his wife Emmy were ordered to assail the northern watch and weaken its defences in preparation for what would be the nearly solo assault by the Order of the Blue Dragon. In order to do this they went about finding who was in command there and what the weakeness es of these commanders were. They discovered that Luke Labeouf was one of them and he was on the list of people that needed to be protected from harm. The other two commanders were painful failures which despite the best efforts of Luke he couldn't get rid of. The first man was lured in by Emmy Shephard and she killed him in the street making it look like a robbery. The second man was more difficult as he was constantly accompanied by a group of three hentchmen and they couldn't have anyone alerted to what was happening. With this in mind they began setting Luke up for protection. Hiding Luke LabeoufDuring the lead up to the invasion of Westbridge Luke remained in charge of the northern gate of Westbridge, and it was during this time that he came to meet a man named Edward Shephard who met him over the course of every night at the local tavern. Each time they met this Edward man told Luke about the beauty of his home in Lucerne and the two grew closer as Edward's wife Emmy Shephard grew close to Luke's wife Stacey. This foursome friendship had happened quickly and on the day of the invasion Luke was suprised to find he had the time off for that day and since he was free Emma and Stacey made plans for the four of them. The plan was to take a boat onto the river and fish which all four enjoyed doing. As the four reached far enough away from Westbridge Emmy, and Edward used potions to stun Stacey, and Luke and this caused Luke and Stacey to be uncontious floating in the boat during the course of the Invasion of Westbridge. The Third ManMovements of Morrigan
With only a few months to go before William Lovie III. would lead the army of Lucerne into its massive suprise attaack on the city of Westbridge it would be Flemeth that called upon Morrigan and commanded that she go to Orleans and get orders from Bill Lovie. Flemeth heavily hinted that her belief was that Bill Lovie could be convinced to command Morrigan to travel to Westbridge and warn the defenders and while the Lucernian army was being destroyed at Westbridge Bill Lovie could lead an army of Orcs through the western pass and destroy the Valley of Lucerne. Morrigan instead would arrive at Orleans to find Bill Lovie commanding her to go to Westbridge and kill a group of Magi called the Vipers of whom he explained were a secret group within the Deatheaters of whom remained in Westbridge and would allow for Lord Voldermorte to return to the city. Not believing her ears she would quickly take these commands and after speaking to Bill Lovie about how William was she would make her way to Westbridge using her griffon, of which allowed her to reach Westbridge a few weeks before the Lucernian invasion of the city was to begin.
Morrigan would arrive in Westbridge and immediately go to find the first Deatheater she could in the form of a low level Deatheater of whom had been left behind by the Order of the Violet Dragon due to his drinking problem and lack of any real abilities in Magi. Seducing him at the tavern she took to what she said was her place, but in fact was nothing more then an abandoned house she had placed charms on to make it so no sound got out. Questioning him revealed the location of the first Viper, and despite telling him that she would let him go if he revealed who the Viper was she would kill him leaving his body in the house without a second thought. The Viper was revealed to be taking on the role of a servant in the House Malfoy estate and thus Morrigan would manipulate the head of the servants of House Malfoy into giving her a job with the servants as well and in this role she would discover he slept in the basement. Not waiting for night she would go into the basement finding him praying out loud to Lord Voldermorte and without even a word to him she knocked him on the back of the head putting him unconscious. Waking up twice more and having Morrigan knocking him out each time finally night would come and she dragged him to the shore of the House Malfoy estate where she put him into a small boat and rowed them out into the water. Summoning mist to her side and once again placing noise suppression charms about the boat she would torture him for two days on board the boat until finally he gave up the location of the other Viper still in the city of whom she discovered was playing the part of a guardsmen at the main gatehouse. Morrigan Corupts Going to Westbridge proved to be the greatest moment of my life. I went there thinking I was going to have to kill my great nephew, but instead I came away with the knowledge that I could resist her. I could change my fate. I could finally make her pay for everything she had done. | ||

Morrigan Corupts
Following the capture of Westbridge it was Morrigan that made her way southward from Westbridge and waited north of where Lucas was camped waiting for him to travel northward as she knew he would. Morrigan would find herself crying on the road waiting for Lucas, as she had been commanded to infiltrate the Lucernian camp and get close to William Lovie III. where she would then have to kill him. She did not want to do this, but her control over herself was still weak as the corruption had only been somewhat drained by Odin, and thus she believed she would be forced to do this act no matter what she actually wanted to do. Lucas had been placed in an inferior role to his brother now that the siege was over, and he attempted to help with meetings but he was told he was unneeded, and thus he was basically just guarding the camp east of the town. When he grew tired of garrisoning Westian he would take a small troop of soldiers and make his way northward where he came upon Morrigan who was waiting for him on the road, anad she told him that she had come to pay her respects to the King of Lucerne. She would join him, and used her Magi to make him convinsed as to why she was coming northward, and why she was waiting for him. Morrigan would speak to him during this trip northward about the happenings in Tree Hill, and she would openly lie to him when he asked her how his sister was doing, as Morrigan knew the truth that Brooke Scott was far from okay, but she lied believing still that she had no choice. Arriving at the Lucernian main army camp just south of Westbrige she would pull him towards where she could feel Edward Cullen was, as she enacted the next step of her plan.
Inside the camp Morrigan would quickly find Edward, and she used the coruption she had been using against Lucas to make Lucas convinse Edward to spend time with Morrigan.
Morrigan now in the room alone with William, and Leven she begin to hear terrible whispering in her mind from Flemeth of whom begin to try and conjure a dagger in her hand so that she could assassinate William. As the whispering begin to get through to her she felt her hand forming a dagger, but as that begin to happen another voice begin whispering to her in the form of Odin of whom was able to push away the presence of Flemeth and free her from this mission and thus saving William. Without the corruption Morrigan became herself in that moment and spent the time getting to know her great great nephew. William would be captivated by her kindness, and Leven would also come to like her during this conversation, and William gave her an invitation to come stay with them at Lucerne and act as a sort of steward to them for the Order of the Blue. During their conversation it also became clear that Leven, and William were beginning to have feelings for each other and Leven left the tent to prepare to return to her own tent, and alone in the tent with just William Morrigan would advise him to not ignore his love for Leven, and this would be a crack in his armor towards Leven. |

Alice's agents had discovered increasing talk about William's affair with Brooke Scott, and this had her greatly worried as she had held onto the belief that it was nothing more then a fling, but having invited her to Westbridge she knew this was something beyond a fling. Alice told him that she had evidence that Brooke was once again contacting people looking for poison and although she had been unsuccesful so far it was just a matter of time until she found the supplies she was looking for. Hearing all this he promiced his sister who was crying and beggining him to do this for her, he promiced her that he would end things with Brooke, and told her he would leave within a few weeks to Tree Hill with Leven.
William following this confrontation with Alice would go to the only person who he believed he could tell in the form of Leven Martell of whom would tell him how she sorry was about things, but as the conversation continued the weakness of William's emotional state came forward and he almost kissed Leven causing him to flee her room into the streets of the House Lovie estate. Finding himself out front of the home of Morrigan of whom he continued to have staying on the grounds he would knock on her door looking for her advise on things as for some reason he was drawn to her door (the reason being the Magi she was using on him driving him to seek her out.
Brooke had departed from the main army alongside her brother Lucas at Stormwind, and travelled back to Tree Hill where she was rejuvinated. Her time over the past weeks with William were the best she had in years, and she finally remembered happiness. Lucas was happy for her despite knowing the consequences of what she was continuesly moving farther and farther into, but she wouldn't hear it and just couldn't stop smiling. When Brooke arrived back in Tree Hill she was barely able to stop herself from paying the driver more coin to get to see her children quicker, but when she did arrive she and her brother were met in the keep by the other members of their family, but most importantly to Brooke was the moment Riley ran to her, and Peyton carried Sigmund to her side. Settling back into life in Tree Hill she would meet with Morrigan of whom had become once again very close to her, and despite seeing a change in Morrigan she brushed it aside, and got closer to Morrigan. She would be tricked by Morrigan into visiting a shop that she didn't know what was, but it was done so that agents of the Order of the Green Dragon would see her enter, and thus report back to William that she was in fact entering a shop that specialized in poisons. Having framed Brooke of the attempted murder of Bella Swan Morrigan disapeared for a time, where in she was visited by Flemeth of whom gave her a new task which was to manipulate the situation that was coming from the arrival of the Man of Fear.
During this conversation between Morrigan and Flemeth some things changed that Flemeth in her arrogance did not see in that as Odin was continuing to release Morrigan from her corruption she nearly had gained the ability to stab Flemeth during the rage she had felt towards her "Mother". The second major change was the fact that she had in her own mind gained the ability to alter the commands of Flemeth which was something completely unimaginable before, and while she didn't fully realize it at the time it would be a dramatic change also. The final thing that changed was that Morrigan silently wanted to help her daughter Morrigan of whom she was coming to believe was her favorite behind only Halenia and in this regard she would return to the Korcani Wilds and have her devoted daughter Morhlese go back to Lucerne to watch Morrigan without saying anything and just help her where she could. Realizing that if Morhlese returned and secretly watched Morrigan she would discover that Morrigan was betraying the Korcani Wilds it would be Katarina that would request to go with Morhlese and wanting to send as much help for Morrigan as possible she would allow Katarina to go as well. Saying Goodbye
Goodbye Son
Leaving behind a broken Brooke Scott William used all his remaining strength to enter the inner palace and find his two sons. Followed closely by Leven she stopped him in a hallway and as he tried to get away she just hugged him, and he broke for a moment hugging into her and not wanting to move. He didn't move it was Leven that released him and smiled kissing him on the lips before pulling him down the hallway towards the sounds of laughter. Finding Sigmund playing with Lucas and Haley Leven left to get Sigmund, and William bid all the servents leave. Haley, and Lucas left leaving father and son alone together one last time. Riley wanted to know what they would be doing together while he was in Tree Hill as whenever he visited he would spend time with Riley, but William was forced to tell him that this time he wasn't going to be able to, and really had just wanted to say goodbye to his son. Riley begin to cry realizing that this goodbye was more permenet as he saw Leven bring Sigmund into the room and William cradle Sigmund while staring into his eyes.
Riley and William would hug for many minutes, but finally he pulled himself away from another person he loved dearly kissing his two sons on the forehead before leaving the room, and Tree Hill for the last time. Riley would get his brother and find his mother of whom he knew would be in the garden as that was where she always went when she was broken by things like this. Finding her still crying in the garden he felt anger towards his father for not being stronger, but at the same time he blamed Bella Swan of whom by this point Dan Scott had been whispering about for many months. Anger towards Bella and Alice for forcing his father to do this, and for the first time he openly stated his desire to see Bella dead. And in the end anger towards everyone for not loving him as much as others who were no more deserving then he was of love. Death of Brooke
When Brooke returned to the alchemist three days later she found the potion ready for her, but as she walked out of the house she ran into a man clothed completely in black robes, and wearing a mask that showed nothing but the outline of his pure red eyes. Staying with Morrigan for a time she was held close by Morrigan of whom was trying to tell her it was just stress and not to worry about it, but on the inside she was dying as she knew the fate of Brooke was all but sealed with the arrival of the Dark Man, and noone capable of seeing him.
She from that point on refused to accept he was there and went about her next days attempting to ignore him, but he begin to threaten those close to her, and she became scared once again to the point that she fled from him as fast as she could before she would take a carriage northward. The two would at first trade jabs at eachother verbally but as the fight continued and Bella arrived the fight became physical as Brooke physically attacked Brook of whom was the point of all of her rage, and the main reason that she was in the position that she was in. As this happened Emmett McCarty barged in and was able to get Brooke under control, and got her out of the Skytowers, and towards the Kings Keep where William was. Emmett knew how much Brooke meant to William and he did his best to keep her under control and safe as they moved towards the Kings Keep, and along the way he attempted to send for Leven but she wasn't in the city as she had travelled home briefly to Sunspear Hold.
As she arrived at the Kings Keep she found William standing at a table surrounded by both Jasper Hale, and Robb Starke.
Brooke would leave the Kings Keep and walk for nearly an entire day before finally the Dark Man brought her towards a waterfall where he waited beside her for her to kill herself. Brooke in that moment took off the necklase that William had given her all those years before, and held it close to herself for a time before she finally set it down on the ground beside what she assumed would be the site that they would believe she jumped from. When she finally did jump off the side she carried with her the curse he had done to her, and in this moment she became a "Daughter of Flemeth". |

Waking up in a NightmareMain Article : Nightmares
The next thing Brooke Scott felt was the dark feeling of waking up laying naked in the middle of a giant cave. As she turned around she saw it was Morrigan of whom had a sad look on her face, but for Brooke she ignored this and held onto the one person she recognized. Morrigan allowed her to hold her close as in basically in every way it was Morrigan that had caused Brooke's death and becoming a member of the "Daughter's of Flemeth", and then as Brooke's crying begins to slow to a certain extent she begins to explain to Brooke what had happened to her.
Morrigan explains to Brooke that Flemeth is an ancient Magi of whom has conspired with Sauron in order to destabilize the regions of men and make Sauron's conquering of these lands an easier equation. As Morrigan is nearly finished she senses that Flemeth is returning and is forced to leave Brooke on her bed of sorts and flee from the room lest Flemeth begin to sense what is going on. Flemeth enters minutes later with The Dark Man, Morhlese, and Katarina in tow of whom didn't say a word but Brooke begin to scream as she saw the Dark Man, and he let out a small little chuckle before Flemeth silenced him and went to Brooke. Seeing TruthFlemeth takes Brooke Scott to the local town of Sundermount where she watches the people fall in fear before Flemeth, and it is only when another girl of whom due to appearance she guesses must be another of the so called daughters in the form of Halenia comes out that she sees any real life in the people around her. Halenia greets Brooke warmly, and is extremely cold to Flemeth to the point that Flemeth attacks her with her Magi torturing her in front of the assembled people of whom are clearly horrified. Flemeth leaves Halenia broken on the ground where the people carry her away and Brooke follows them into the tower that Halenia uses as her home. The chapter ends with Halenia telling her that she must listen to Morrigan without question as she is the only one who can save them all now. |

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Following the continueing growth in conflict with the Kingdom of Bolten William Lovie begin to come to the conclusion that he had to do something drastic or he risked watching all the good he'd done come crashing down around him. He had been constantly reading the diaries of his ancestors and from the writings of his great grandfater William Lovie I. he learned that the Dragon had changed everything. He came to believe that the success of House Lovie in the beggining was based on more then just the skill of William and that he needed the same trump card. William Lovie would summon from the Order of the Dragon Taylor Swift of whom he knew through Edward Cullen, and he grilled her for the truth on what the Dragons were really doing in the mountains. Taylor Swift would reveal to him that only the most senior of the Order had ever actually seen a dragon, and that she would summon a man of whom could tell him the truth of what they were. When he went to the shadow Council and told them that he planned on going to the Lucernian Mountains and attempting to meet with the Dragons, and from this he would bring them back into the fold. At first the others were so shocked by what he had said that they didn't take it seriously but when he didn't laugh along with them they begin to understand the truth that he in fact wasn't joking. At first noone spoke or even moved but after minutes of silence Jasper got up from the table and begin to become very angry that Andrew would even contimplate something so stupid.
After the argument of the Shadow Council Jasper went back to his room with Alice where he begin throwing things around the room which obviously brought about the attention of his fiance Alice Lovie. When Jasper told Alice about what was happening she immediatly knew that she was partly to blame for this as she had told him during the trip back that he was as great as William Lovie, and that anything he had done would pale in comparison to what he would eventually be remembered for. Realizing this she immediatly left the room with Jasper - who was shocked that Alice had just up and left - and went upstairs to Andrew's room where she walked in on Andrew and Bella in the middle of having sex. Seeing this was the first of what would become a growing problem for Alice as she begin to accept some simple truths in her life that she had never allowed herself to accept before. Telling Alice the Truth
When Bella had removed herself from William and they were properly clothed she sat down on the edge of the bed and apoligized to William for telling him what she had, and she begged him not to go through with the Dragon plan. Bella stood beside him, but she to wanted to know why William would be so absolutely reckless. Bella went through the lists of things that gave them an advantage in any upcoming conflict, and by this point Alice was tearing up but still attempting to help Bella by also saying all the positives of a future conflict with the Empire. William explained to the two of them that the situation was hopeless in the long run unless they did something drastic and he could only think of doing this. He had taken out cities, and annexxed half of western Westros but he still was nothing more then a peanut in comparison to the power of the larger Empires in Europe. The three of them argued back and forth for some time and finally Ashley would appear at the door and she had a bad dream, and wanted them to get her a drink. Bella would leave to help Ashley with that, and when she did William reached for Alice and pulled her into a hug and whispered to her the words that force her to take his side of the coming debate.
With the words said by William there was a sence of understanding between the siblings and she would help him to convinse Bella of the reasonings behind the decision, and despite wanting to believe that her husband could sucede where it seemed noone could Bella was not willing to accept his death and refused to agree but would support him. Bella would return carrying a sleeping Ashley of whom they laid in their bed, and then went out to the balcony. The three of them would talk, and this time Alice now supported him, and after basically being double teamed for many minutes William went inside to check on Ashley and Bella and Alice spoke, and Bella wondered what he could have said to her to make her agree to this. Alice refused to tell the truth, and instead simply made excuses for William and Bella left frustrated. The Mountain
As Brooke flew away the world seemed to snap back into focus as instead of feeling sad that she was gone, he felt the hope from the fact that she had said that he would see her again, and even if he believed her an illusion of his mind he somehow was okay with that. What man or women wouldn't want to see their loved ones again even if they were gone he thought. By this point Jasper realized that the things Leven had sent him to do were completely trickery and William wasn't where she said he would be, and the two would come together and get on their Griffins and attempt to find William before he was too far out. The Monolith
So caught into his own thinking was he that he only barely noticed the large black monolith the writings had spoken of. The Monolith was knocked down as if spit in half, and as he landed he sat for a moment on the ground before getting up. As he walked followed by Keenclaw he was alerted by Keenclaw to the arrival of Jasper and Levan who flew in behind him on their griffins. Wondering immediatly about whether his meeting with Brooke had been noticed this fear went away when Jasper responded that they had flew with all speed and only saw him finally when he was sitting on the ground. Realizing that he wasn't going to be able to convinse them to leave and silently happy to have his friends with him they walked forward towards very likely death. Jasper scouted ahead accompanied by Brightclaw the littermate of Keenclaw. While he scouted ahead Leven would try to get William to tell him what had happened, and despite his reservations about being thought to be insane he told Leven about seeing Brooke and despite the fact that she didn't think Brooke was actually there she held his hand as they walked to make him understand that she was there for him. He would give her a tender kiss as they walked and despite knowing why he had done it she couldn't help but wish it was for the romantic reasons that she wanted to kiss him The Mad GodMain Article : Conversations
As they walked forward holding hands they walked over the hill and saw Jasper flying towards them chased by an absolutely massive Dragon. Falling back over the hill they ran the other way only to find another dragon fly behind them and cut them off. The sides were then closed by more human sized creatures that were weaponized and didn't have wings but looked distinctly dragonoid. Falling back into a small circle they were joined by Jasper, and they watched the dragons approach them, and waited when the largest amongst them steps towards them and demands to know why they are here before they are killed. As Stragnarax nears them he visably recoils as he relizes that William Lovie's ancestor is amongst them and demands to know what kind of horrible taint William has since he is a decendent of the one that killed the honorable William Lovie I. William attempts to convinse him of his honor but Stragnarax throughout the conversation shows signs of madness and is unable to be convinsed and is unable to be persuaded to let them live and prepares to kill the group when Lornax arrives and stands between his father and the group. Not willing to kill his son he roars to the sky before flying away leaving Lornax, Flarnax and many Draknoids.
Lornax and Flarnax would attempt to better understand the reasoning behind why William had risked everything to come here, and why they should listen. William was able to come to a sort of understanding with the curious Lornax of whom he convinced he was no harm too and he simply wanted to regain what had been lost between the Dragons and the humans of Lucerne. Flarnax would make the argument that the days of the dragon were sliding away and if nothing changed they would be wiped out. Lornax would agree and they both said that if the time came for trouble or they needed help then they would be able to count on the White Dovah by their side. William as they were leaving made Lornax and Flarnax aware that the Dragons were rising in the east under the Empire of Dragonstone, and that these dragons appeared to be of the Red Dovah but were not led by a very large dragon as the White were. Lornax was shocked that the Red Dovah were reintegrating with the humans and this would lead to even more discussion of the need for the White Dovah to join with Lucerne, but both Dragons made it sadly clear that it would take time for the relationship to return to what it was, but the two of them were with Lucerne.

Touched by Lightning
As she watched William getting closer through the window of the house she would feel a presence come behind her and turning around she would see a man surrounded by four women. Horrifed by their presence she prepared to fight with her new found Magi but found her powers resisted as if she was a child by the man, and then knocking her to the ground he came to her side and whispered words she couldn't understand into her ear. The words caused a great relief to wash over her, and when the feeling went away and she was able to open her eyes the man and women with him were gone. Moments later William would come smashing through the door and find her leaning against the wall with blood coming from her ears, and horrified that she was dying on him before he could see her again he would scream out of which woke her from the trance she was in. Released once again Brooke and William would be intimate and then spoke for some time about everything before Brooke was forced to have him leave as she knew that he needed to go back to Lucerne and deal with the death of Marcel Lovie II. and the fall of Arnor. Brooke though all of this was helpless in her ability to tell him the truth of what she was, and despite the fact that she wanted to tell him every time she she him, she was physically incapable of resisting the will of Flemeth. What she did not understand during this was that Odin's whispering had released much of her corruption and during her entire time with William at the cottage Flemeth had been whispering commands to her to kill William, but she had been able to ignore them due to the opening of her mind from Odin.
Following sending away William to deal with all the political issues at hand for him she would remain in the cottage day after day waiting for someone to come for her to tell her what to do next, but instead Flemeth didn't come. Flemeth didn't come but Odin and his Valkryie did come and their arrival would once more frighten Brooke but this time Odin revealed who he was and his relationship to some of the other daughters was revealed when Morrigan showed herself and told Brooke the truth of what Odin was doing. Odin would reveal to her that his plan was for Brooke to show herself her own strength in resisting Flemeth by not harming her beloved in William upon his return, and then following having some time with him to calm his soul she would let him move on from her before she would return to Croatia |

Meeting a Daughter
Following the attempted Coup in Stor Roslin Stor XII. would return to the capital with Lucie Lovie of whom told her everything she could about her life, and everyone was called to a council where they were told that they had the oldest child of the King of Lucerne in their hands. Following this discovery there were many in the council who begin saying they should barter her to the Lucernians, and this charge would be led heavily by Terad Ereham who had been implicated in the Coup attempt but had returned to the fold after its defeat. Roslin argued that if they did that William had shown he would never forgive the slight, and the weak willed Terad wilted under the pressure of Roslin's words and agreed with her idea of simply giving Lucie to the Lucernians asking nothing in return. The failure here of Terad to gain anything would further poison the mind of his son Tristifer Ereham III. to his father and would be the final straw which led to Tristifer turning completely on his father and taking control of House Ereham.
While Lucie Lovie was being sent to Storhold and the letter was on its way to Lucerne the situation in Lucerne would be quite peaceful as the royal family prepared for the birth of another child of the main branch through Bella Swan and William Lovie, but as this was happening the lessening of the corruption of Morrigan would lead to a major reveal.
