Northern Swords of Winterfell

The Northern Swords of Winterfell are a small knightly order formed in Winterfell from the survivors of the Lucernian campaign in Stor. The Northern Swords of Winterfell are centered within Winterfell although membership does not require you being there as several members are never near Winterfell.

The Northern Swords of Winterfell were founded by Jon Snow and several of his companions following there return from the Northern Quest in the Frostfang Mountains.

Leadership

The Northern Swords of Winterfell are led by the Knightly Commander of whom is the overall leader of the Knightly Order but beneath him stands the Knights Council of whom the Knightly Commander must have a majority imput to enact most changes.

Strength

The Northern Swords of Winterfell following there founding would grow to several dozen men at arms formed within Winterfell of whom were trained, fed, and housed by the gold of its Knights Commander Jon Snow. Following Jon Snow being sent to the Kingdom of Bolten they came under the brief command of Benjen Starke of whom formed them into his Rangers of Winterfell and there numbers dwindled somewhat but the core remained when Jon Snow led them northward into the Day's Watch.
