Olyvar Frey would become infatuated with Meera Osnard following their meeting, and would eventually become married to her despite the fact that this basically banished him from House Frey.
Olyvar Frey was born the final child alongside his twin sister Roslin Frey of Walder Frey and Bethany Frey and following their birth it was Bethany that was deemed by the wet nurse incapable of having more children and for this reason she and Walder had their marriage annulled. Like his twin sister he was taken by his mother back to her home at the Purple Fork and in this way he grew up a kind young man who longed to become a squire for a powerful knight and eventually become a knight in his own right. Olyvar would be sent to the Trident despite the best attempts of his mother to keep him from the city and once he arrived there he would spent most of his time with his elder brother Perwyn who raised him like a father would have. Olyvar would be present at the negotiations to marry Sauria Frey to Derek Proudmoore and hearing the truth behind the marriage he would convince his cousin Sauria to be strong and attempt to work with Derek to stop what their family had planned. Olyvar would leave the Tident for the Divine Lands and while there he took part in several tournaments in the region most notably in the city of Jeutenburg where he won a tournament and was knighted following this. Olyvar Frey would be commanded by his father to join several of his relatives in taking the island of Radin to the north of the Frey Lands. Olyvar would lead a contingent of the Frey forces as they invaded the Radin lands, and while his cousin Jared Frey was killed and lost much of his forces Olyvar was able to defeat his opposing force and laid siege to the capital of the island. Olyvar would be surrounded by the victorious Radin army that had defeated his cousin and instead of being killed he would surrender his forces and was taken a hostage by the forces of Radin. With the army of Frey destroyed or surrendered the Radins would attempt to barter for hostages, but Walder Frey wouldn't offer anything for Olyvar of whom it was suggested despite the truth had been embarrassed during the battles of Radin. Following his decision to remain in the Kingdom of Aran it would be Olyvar Frey that would propose to Meera Osnard and following this they would have a wedding which was attended in secret by his mothers family including several of his siblings.

| The Final Act of Theresia|
Sister I have a simple task for you. Even your small little brain can do this.
Theresia Proudmoore's Goodbye
As the time went by with Larissa, Derek and their daughter at Castle Toralus it was Larissa that came under the influence of the Dragonoph Priest of the castle in the form of Bernhart Bluher. Bernhart had been sent to the castle by Theresia in order to manipulate Larissa into believing that Derek was going to regret what he had done and in this regret would eventually turn on Larissa and abandon both her and Antonia. Theresia had been declining in health over the years and had reached a point where she did not believe she had much time left and wanted her son to come back and was willing to do anything to get this to happen. Coming to believe the words of Bernhart it was Larissa that would meet with her brother Robin Caellin in secret, and during this meeting her brother would convince her that she was holding back Derek and that he would grow to resent her and Antonia if Larissa did not let him return to the capital. With this now cemented in her mind by first Bernhart and now her brother she would arrange to meet in secret with Theresia Proudmoore. During this meeting Theresia would convince her to work at getting Robin to the capital and back to his role as prince.
He would travel north for a time to Galheim in Arnor where his brother had fled following his exile and he found his brother completely changed and devoted to Dragonoph. Bringing his brother and his family back to Kul Tiras he returned to find his wife had not improved in health, and had in fact gotten worse, and the physicians said that she might not last a month. Learning this led to Daelin instead of spending these final moments with Theresia to instead travel to Pontus where he would pay an exorbitant amount of money to a healer there in an attempt to heal Theresia.
Death of Theresia Proudmoore
Theresia would finally pass away to her sickness several weeks after the return of Derek to the capital and her death would break her husband Daelin who had always believed he could save her.
Travelling to the Trident
Derek Proudmoore at the age of sixteen would captain a ship of the Proudmoore fleet of which he took to the island of Frey on a mission from his father. At the end of the trip he had his choice of many of the daughters of Walder Frey and this led to him eventually meeting Sauria Frey during one of the many dinners he was attending. He would find her in the hall outside the dining hall as he went to use the lavatory and confused why by far the most beautiful of the Frey daughters wasn`t being thrown at him he started talking with her. She seemed very intelligent from their talking and walking the garden outside he continued to be confused as to why she was hidden, until he finally asked her why she remained hidden from him. She revealed to him her arms which were covered with burns that she suffered following her percieved betrayal of the house after she gave food to a poor man that turned out to be a Frey Rebel. Seeing kindness in her eyes he chose Sauria as his choice, and Walder Frey is said to have laughed so hard he shook the walls at his choice. As Sauria would be prepared to leave she was visited by her cousin Olyvar Frey and it was Olyvar that told her about the eventual fate of Derek if Sauria was to assist in the betrayal of House Proudmoore, and Olyvar would further push her away from the direction that had been given to her by Aegon.
Telling the Truth
Sauria would happily follow Derek back on his ship to Kul Tiras and the deal was sealed between House Proudmoore and House Frey that the trade routes would be opened to them now.

| The Invasion of Radin|
This was a mistake from the first moment we set foot on this island.
Port of Stormwind it was the decision of the Freys that neutral parties needed to be removed near them or else the Lucernians were going to take them over and give them more of a power base near them. The largest of the neutrals near the Empire of Frey was the Kingdom of Aran that was based north of them on the island of Radin. Jared Frey would lead a group to Radin where he attempted to create a union between Aran, and Frey and he was met with great kindness by the members of House Osnard of whom wanted peace with the Freys. As the meetings though continued Jared's drunkenness came through and he was increasingly rude towards the leadership of House Osnard, and this created arguments during the meetings which drastically undermined the conversation. Olyvar Frey would go out into the gardens of the Twinvale palace disgusted over what Jared was doing, and while in the gardens he would be met by Meera Osnard of whom he would talk to for some time before Athos Osnard came into the gardens telling her they had ended the meeting as Jared had passed out from drunkenness and while Olyvar would apologize and Athos would accept this and say goodnight taking Meera with him. Tytos Frey and several others had left looking for the room of Meera and had very dark plans. Olyvar would secretly go to Athos Osnard of whom was at his post at the gatehouse and warned him of what was happening and it was while warning him that screams rang out and running together the two would make there way to Meera's room where they found her naked on the floor of her room bruised and bloody, and before they could do anything Olyvar watched as Athos was knocked and and then turning to the attacker he found Tytos of whom wouldn't say a word instead just struck Olyvar in the head knocking him out as well. The Freys would be forced to flee and during this flight several guardsmen and civilians in Twinvale were killed, but as the Frey's were looking for this anyway this was exactly the outcome that they wanted, and fled on their boats back to the Trident. In the morning discovering the true extent of the damage the Osnard's would demand retribution for this act, but instead they were sent insults and also forced to deal with the fact that they discovered that the Freys had taken several prisoners with them during the fighting of their escape and Jared had instead of bartering for their lives instead had them executed and there heads sent back to Twinvale.
When William Lovie III. became the king of Lucerne and following the diplomatic fallout of the meeting in the |
Following the rape of Meera Osnard, and the retreat of the Freys from the island the Freys would nearly immediatly begin massing forces to invade the Island of Radin where they would take by force the Kingdom of Aran. Jared Frey demanded the command, and would be given it as Walder Frey barely thought anything of Aran and was far more focused on the Lucernians travelling into the Divine Lands where he would send several of his more capable children and relatives. At the same time as Jared was planning the invasion of the mainland of the Kingdom of Aran it would Walder Frey that also would command the invasion of the Dutchy of Grey Brann within Aran, and in this regard he would send Jared Frey would amass an army of some seven thousand men, and was carried by the Frey Fleet to Radin where the Aran fleet would not engage them due to the vastly superior numbers, and quality of the Frey fleet in comparison to their own. The one exception to this was a brief naval battle between three ships commanded by Rovin Tikkanen on the side of the Kingdom of Aran, and six ships commanded between Patrek Frey, and Halden Anister but shortly into the battle Halden Anister would cause the sinking of one of the Frey ships and then fired on the two remaining frey ships. This entire action was watched by Rovin Tikkanen and his son Risto with great excitement and following Halden Anister sinking the last of the Frey ships they would approach Rovin Tikkanen's boat and he told Rovin that some of the Frey's coming ashore mainly those close to Olyvar Frey were not bad people. Following this Rovin would return to the port of Gwendale where he would send a raven to Twinvale telling them of the Frey infighting. Landing on the island Jared spit their force into two with two thousand men going west and landing further down under the command of Olyvar Frey while the five thousand remaining would travel directly for the main city of Aran in the form of Twinvale where they would lay siege to the city.
Olyvar Frey would capture a castle that stood separating the western half of the island from the eastern half and he garrisoned it with some eight hundred men, and then left it under the command of the capable John Urdentrot while he took the remaining 1200 men and made his way towards Twinvale. In the east Jared Frey led his five thousand men westward in a direct line against the city of Twinvale, but as he moved he would lose some 1500 men after he would insult the Lady of House Acorn and then executed Travis Acorn of which led to the House Acorn forces pulling back only a few days into the attack. Moving on despite this they would be stopped when they met the forces of the Kingdom of Arran of whom arrayed against them with some four thousand men, thus slightly outnumbering the now depleted Frey army. Jared was advised by his council to pull back and call for more men from the boats as the Freys could call on thousands more easily, but instead Jared refused this and called for battle to be made immediately. The battle would be a complete route as Jared Frey launched the attack, and the forces of House Frey were gaining victory after a brilliant victory on the left flank by Olyn of the Trident, but Jared would launch himself into battle attempting to gain the honor of winning the battle, and was struck down by an arrow to the head and died on the spot. His son Tytos Frey attempted to rally the troops but, his death would signal a full scale retreat as the center collapsed. The Frey army under Olyn of the Trident would retreat in as good an order as could be expected but still only half the original army was able to make it back to the boats.By this point Olyvar Frey had laid siege to Twinvale, and he surrounded the city as best his army was capable but he was forced to constantly deal with a small force of three hundred men led by Athos Osnard, and Eddard Meedgard of whom were doing hit and run attacks on his forces. Continuing the siege while he waited for reinforcements he would be surprised when he gained some six hundred additional men when House Yille led by Hanzal Yille would arrive at his camp. Hanzal and his sister Samantha Yille would tell Olyvar about how poorly they had been treated by House Osnard and why they knew this was the perfect moment to switch sides and while Olyvar felt they were up to something he had no choice and thus House Yille would join the Frey side and reinforce the siege at the southern part of the city. Days passed, and despite attempts to communicate with Twinvale his calls for meetings met with nothing, and his scouts reported to him that a large force was heading towards them from the south. Olyvar attempted to get House Yille to join with them for the battle, but learned that House Yille was only making sure Olyvar didn't retreat before the main army of Arran arrived. Olyvar would be seen as an honorable man by the Yille commander Hanzal Yille and thus when the main army of Arran arrived they offered him surrender unlike the other Frey's who they had butchered without quarter, and he was given two days to think about the offer. Osric Osnard, and Meera Osnard the raped member of their family to speak to him, and she would talk to him with complete honesty. Telling him that the castle was already under siege and was nearing surrender, he knew his other option then was to simply fight and die here. Voicing this option Meera would convince him otherwise, and he would surrender to the forces of House Osnard thus ending the Invasion of Radin in utter defeat to the Frey's.
