Order of Sithis

The Order of Sithis is an order of assassins that while initially being a member of the Empire of Numeron it would eventually become independent making its home in the region of Libya until its near destruction during the Fifth Emblam Waaagh and moved into Slaver Bay north of Lahmia.

The Order of Sithis only recruits from the Numenorian Race and this has continued despite the destruction of the Numenorian realm known as the Kingdom of Libia which stood as its main recruitment population.

The Hand of Sithis is the ruling body of the Dark Brotherhood, and it is made up of five members: four Speakers (index, middle, ring and little fingers) and a Listener (thumb). Less well known, even by members of the Dark Brotherhood, is that each Speaker also employs a Silencer, which represent the nails of the four fingers.

Listener[]

The Listener is the overall leader of the Order of Sithis and he/she hears the commands of the Night Mother and then he/she directs the speakers to enact her will. Each Speaker in turn has a Silencer – a private assassin specifically empowered to do the will of their Speaker.

Tenets[]

Never dishonor the Listener. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis.
Never betray the Dark Brotherhood or its secrets. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis.
Never disobey or refuse to carry out an order from a Dark Brotherhood superior. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis.
Never steal the possessions of a Dark Brother or Dark Sister. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis.
Never kill a Dark Brother or Dark Sister. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis.
