Tavin Flynt is the son of Edgin, and Ursella Flynt making him a member of and the long time lord and patriarch of House Flynt until his death. Tavin Flynt has three siblings in the form of Reginald, Janos, and Ollenia Flynt of which Reginald was the heir to the family but was killed alongside their father at the Battle of Lyons,. Tavin Flynt would be married to Wella Flynt in a marriage that brought him nothing but happiness until the death of their only child Edgin broke them both and while Tavin changed into a more cold person it was Wella that could not accept his death and would kill herself.

Tavin Flynt would become the Lord of House Flynt following the death of his father, and brother during the Battle of Lyons and this new power led to Tavin becoming increasingly determined to be a better man. Tavin Flynt would begin to change as a person following the death of his sole son and heir Edgin Flynt during the First Battle of Tree Hill and unable to deal with this loss he became more devout in Glaurung and while finding this new path he also returned to his childhood obsession with the royal family. If the death of Edgin made him seek out new persuits it was the suicide of his beloved wife Wella that would turn him cold and deal the final blow to him ever coming back from his new single focus of being loyal to James Lovie II. who he begin to believe was Glaurung reborn.
