The Titans or Angiri are an energy based parasitic race of beings constructed and made into near gods by the ancient space-faring race the Old Ones in order to watch over the planet Earth once they had left. The Titans were created with purposes with each Titan maintaining an element of the planet, and becoming built for whatever purpose there task demanded of them. The Titans would be responsible for the creation of all of the races and species on the planet outside of the Lizardmen of whom were brought to the planet by the Old Ones. The Titans would become split when Tek the lone remaining Old One on the planet corrupted Tzeneech and the latter would then corrupt nearly half the other Titans into joining with the forces of Chaos of whom would destroy and pillage the vision of the Old Ones for the planet.
The Titans are an energy based race that forms itself from the great Old One creation called the Diamond Arch, and following their creation they have the ability to contain their form within a body which they form themselves. The Titans can be temporarily killed outside of the Fade by the destruction of their corporal form, but their true energy will return itself to the Diamond Arch meaning as long as the Diamond Arch remains all Titans still remain virtually immortal. Inside the Fade a Titan is vulnerable to destruction and the killing of a Titan in the Fade will lead to the Titan being unable to return to the Diamond Arch and thus perishing. The Old One Tek would create a second means of reproduction known as the Emerald Arch and its location was outside the High Heavens in the Low Heavens and it is controlled by the Chaos Gods but the Titans created by the Low Heavens are a flawed version of Titans who are unstable.
The earliest generations of Titans are present only in the Fade in any true numbers but they are capable of entering the corporal world and before the creation of the Fade they were only present on the Earth itself. The last two generations of Titans in the sixth and seventh generations are by far the most populous of the Titans consisting of more then ninety percent of the entire population of the Titans, and are also the weakest of the Titans never meant to control the power of the earliest generation of Titans.
Biology
A Titans's true appearance is that of a luminous, partly translucent, radially symmetrical, resembling a floating cloud. Though they may appear insubstantial, they are in fact physical life-forms held in by a surface substance of their own making.
While their means of reproduction is entirely non-dependent on genders due to the Diamond Arch due to the involvement of almost a base coding by the Old Ones they are genetically pre-disposed to making a gender choice upon the creation of their physical enclosure.
Reproduction
The Titans are an energy based race that forms itself from the great Old One creation called the Diamond Arch, and following their creation they have the ability to contain their form within a body which they form themselves. The Titans can be temporarily killed by the destruction of their corporal form, but their true energy will return itself to the Diamond Arch meaning as long as the Diamond Arch remains all Titans still remain virtually immortal.
Physical Forms
When a Titan takes on the form of a physical body there essence incorporates itself into the form it is taking on and becomes anatomically that organism.
- Human Form : If a Titan takes on the form of a human there energy creates a physical identical human consisting of all internal organs, all being run from a central location most likely the heart where they energy of their essence remains working constantly to trick the organism that they are in fact real. In this example a human Titan would be capable of reproduction in the same manner as a normal human as the physical body believes itself to be real due to the work of the essence in tricking the body.
Possession
The Titans also have another ability to excist within the physical realm through the act of possession of a sentient in the physical realm. The control that the Titan has over the sentient that is being possessed is varying but depends on the control that they can have over the sentients mind through whatever manner they are choosing to do this. For a sentient to be able to be possessed they must usually have some manner of Magi abilities as this would usually be how a sentient would be found, but there are cases where a Titan already in the physical realm could convinse, or trick a sentient into allowing possession and thus avoiding the need for haivng Magi to find them. The actual act of taking possession can come in many forms but can be broken into two main directions.
Possession Pact
In the act of controlling a sentient a Titan will attempt to make the mind of the sentient accepting of this control. This has come to take on the form of a pact made between the Titan and the sentient with the elements of the pact dictating the level of control between the two and as such the pacts that are offered can be extremely varried.
History
Coming of the Old Ones
You look around you and see life. That was because of them. Everything you have is because of them. |
---|
The Old Ones had used the Lizardmen in order to administer much of what they knew was neccessary for the planet, but as time went by their schedules determined that they needed to leave the planet. The Old Ones knew their time on Earth would have to end but they wanted to make sure their world would be watched over. In order to leave behind something that would protect, guide, and further advance the denizens of the Earth. In order to do this they decided to create extremely powerful creations that would look over different areas based on the planet. The Old Ones created different Titans for different purposes, and with every piece of the lives of the mortals below looked after the world would advance in peace. The Titans would be given amazing powers that were nearly limitless within the region of Magi they also created called the Fade. Within the Fade they gave the Titans birth, and from this the Titans would become the vessels of the future goals of the Old Ones long after they would eventually leave the planet. |
The Fade and the Titans We were supposed to protect this world. Not leave it in darkness. | |||||||||||||||

Creation of the Fade
In order to construct most of the world the Old Ones had turned from science, and their own massive technology and had instead allowed their Slann to control the process by which the planet took its changing form. The Slann used untold Magi to shift continents, changing environments and many other things all with the use of their primitive Magi over the vast technology of the Old Ones. Because the Old ones had used so much Magi on the world the traces of it were sucked into a realm called the Fade, and left to fester under the protection of the Old Ones. With the Old Ones leaving they needed one of their Titans to protect and control the Fade.

There are just no words to describe how beautiful things were before they left. |

The Old Ones Leave
With the safeguards believed to be in place the Old Ones, begin disassembling many of their cities on the Earth. This process was obviously to make sure the advanced nature of the Old Ones wasn't allowed to seep into the growth of the races of Earth, and the Titans were allowed to control this growth as per their creation. The process of taking apart their cities was one that they had done on an innumerable amount of occasions and because of this they were able to deconstruct their cities in a very short amount of time. With their cities gone, the Old Ones packed into their ships and set out into space to their next destination with little understanding of the emotional catastrophe they left behind due to their importance among the Lizardmen. With the Old Ones gone their favored race in the Lizardmen was initially shocked and in disarray as to what to do with themselves, but as the Old Ones knew they would the Slann took control of the situation and led the Lizardmen towards the path of enlightenment where they would act as the stewards of the planet. Other then the Lizardmen the only real effect that their departure had was that with them gone, their was no one truly watching the Titans and their successes and failures and because of this lack of attention the true fate of the Old One Tek would come into play.
As with all the other worlds the Old Ones had left behind without the Old Ones interference though the Titans should have simply been able to deflect any internal corruption through their internal device that made sure they never deviated from their assigned tasks but with the manipulation of Tek in place the entire scenario was made dramatically different. When the Old Ones had taken their leave they took Tek's clone with them, and Tek was left in his facility which was extremely deep inside an Old One facility on Iceland and had complete control over the entire facility. In the facility he watched as the world became the beautiful place that the Old Ones had wanted and he thus became extremely bitter that their plan was working. He went about finding a way to destabilize the situation in his off minutes and it was in this time that he formulated the devise which would manipulate Tzeneech into corruption. |
Corruption of the Titans All it took was one of them turning his back on his creator for me to truly see the depths of their depravity. My brethren had created them and things like them a million times and each time they had smiled with an arrogance built on the foundation that these Titans were perfect creations. I would show them how much their foundation was built on nothing. I would let them see the truth of this perfection. |

Corruption of Tzeneech
As with most stories the time of the Titans being fully unified would end when a single member of their number in the form of Tzeneech the God of Magic, and sorcery managed to destroy his protective shield. This meant that he existed without any shield against greed, corruption, or hate. These feelings did not come all at once but it was a slow corruption as the protection left him until eventually he became the First of the Chaos Gods. It was purely the work of Tek that the ability to destroy his protective shield was created when the fallen Old One Tek begin his experimentation on the Titans. Tek believed that the Titans created an imbalance in the world and the only way to make the world into its natural state was to make the Titans act naturally. In order to do this he used his unimaginable technology to enter the Fade which was the domain of Tzeneech and while in the Fade he spread a kind of virus into the Fade which seeped into Tzeneech and placed questions into the Titan's mind. The virus allowed Tzeneech to understand the emotions that were supposed to be inhibited by his shield, and with these emotions he was able to destroy the shield completely which then led to these emotions spreading. This would begin to take its affect on him in the form of his corruption unknowingly of his child of sorts in Sethe of whom was the closest to him and thus the one that begin to feel the most of his increasingly wild emotions. Due to the increasing corruption of Sethe Tzeneech would begin to feel a sort of nationalistic mindset towards his Arakhora but when this was resisted by the returning Anzu, and Terokk of whom had been away on the Earth expanding the homelands of the burgeoning Arakhora population on the Earth. Tzeneech would turn his back on the two resisting members of his children in the form of Anzu, and Terokk and openly question their love of him, and this caused Sethe to turn against them beginning the Arakhora Civil War. Corruption of the Five
After Tek corupted Tzeenech he had fed into the mind of Tzeenech that there were several other Titans that it was very important for him to concentrate on removing the shields of and it was in this way that Tzeenech begin to target five Titans in the form of Malekor, Zeus, Hades, Khorne, and Eywa. At first targeting Malekor as this was the Titan that he was closest too he would travel to Luna where he met with Malekor, and his wife Luna and during this conversation he would be able to convince Malekor to allow him to begin the spell to remove the shield around him, but Luna was unwilling and stormed from the room unwilling to accept any deviation from the plans of the Old Ones. Following his corruption of Malekor he would Luna leaving behind the disaster that was a now corrupted Malekor of whom he taught how to remove the shields of Titans and despite Malekor's one time honorable way of life he was corrupted with a feeling of paranoia which would be the main cause for his eventual betrayal of the Luna Pantheon in the event known as the Luna War of Conquest. Leaving Luna Tzeenech would travel to Charon where he would come to the World Tree the home of Eywa and finding her happy to him he was momentarily reluctent to betray her but the anger and resentment he felt towards the Old Ones pushed him to attempt to tell Eywa the story. As he begin to tell Eywa the story that was secretly a spell crafted by Tek which had already successfully turned Malekor and Tzeenech to Chaos but this time the story was interuped by the arrival of Luna of whom explained to Eywa what had happened to Malekor and at this Tzeenech would escape Charon but before he did he would use his complete control of The Fade to block the Warp Gate which allowed exit from Charon to the Fade. Worried that his attempt to corupt Eywa had exposed him it was Tzeenech that would immediately following this event leave for Olympus where arriving there he was able to meet with Zeus and convinsed Zeus of whom had no reason to believe anything was amiss to listen to the story. Zeus would listen to the story but as the spell worked its way and destroyed his shielding it was Tzeneech that was shocked when nothing happened and Zeus just insulted the story and then asked Tzeenech to leave and despite Tzeneech attempting to explain what had happened he was refused and thus silently Zeus was corrupted but his corruption would be different. Zeus had been hand crafted by the Old One Sek of whom had created with a single overriding drive and this drive led to his corruption creating a flawed personality trait where in he became increasingly ridig in his view of what the Titans purpose was. Fall of Nurgle
Spread of the Corruption
With the corruption spreading and an increasing amount of Titans becoming corrupted there would be the first casualty of the conflict when the First Generation Titan Jupiter was approached by Malekor, Khorne, and Tzeneech. Attempting to have Jupiter remove her shield would backfire dramatically when Jupiter resisted the three Chaos Titans and a fight broke out between the four of them. The group attempted to manipulate Jupiter who they knew to be a very noble and just and thus they attempted to have her join them through arguing that they would assist the world through their work and that it was Zeus that was the problem. The group of corrupted Chaos Titans had been unaware that Jupiter had lost her shield through her proximity to the Woses but her corruption was to become increasingly noble, and seeking justice which would lead to her inability to negotiate with the three more powerful Titans instead simply attacking them and nearly killing Tzeneech but eventually she was unable to fight the three of them and thus the fight led to the death of Jupiter of whom was over matched by the three more violent Titans. Following her death Khorne would become quite boisterous in his discussion of murdering Jupiter, and while this was something that angered many of the Titans it would be her two sons Ulric, and Taal that would become enraged by the death of Jupiter and under the leadership of Ulric they would begin a plan to target Khairne for revenge against Khorne. Fall of Slanaash
Slanaash would protected from corruption by two things with the first being his devout love for his elven creation leaving him never entering the fade, and the second being constantly guarded by his sister Elune who believed that there was a dangerous element growing in the Titans and knew she needed to protect her brother. Ragoth would become so isolated from his elven family that he drifted into the sphere of influence of a titan who would eventually ruin him in the form of Malekor and through Malekor he became a different person then the one he once was. When Malekor fell to corruption it was Ragoth who was one of the titans that fell into the words of Malekor becoming just like his mentor an agent of chaos, and through this he was tasked with corrupting his father in order to truly prove how loyal he was to malekor. When Slanaash could not be gotten to due to the interference of Elune it was Zarakynel that was corrupted when she was tricked by her brother Hypnos and when she returned to Ulthuan she realized what had happened to her and left a letter for her daughter Kyriss which detailed what had happened and then unable to live for one minute longer with the corruption afflicting her she would commit suicide inside the fade thus ending her life permanently. The now corupted Ragoth would find the letter before Kyriss could and due to this she was not warned and instead the family was left with little time to grieve as Ragoth made his move against his father. All the things that stood between Slanaash and corruption were broken when his son Ragoth was corrupted and in this corruption used his position as son of Slanaash to enter Slanaash's inner sanctum and tricked Slanaash into entering the fade where once there he was ambushed by Tzeneech, and Malekor who told him the corrupting story and thus broke the shield over Slanaash. So strong was Slanaash's love for the Elves that as he felt the corruption over him spread he would attempt to break himself from the Elves giving over more and more control to the Asurian pantheon as well as Elune, and Cenarius. As time moved forward though despite his attempts at resisting the corruption that he had suffered he was pushed forward by several of his children most notably Morai-Heg, and Ragoth who both had given themselves completely to the corruption and pulled their father down with them. Having given in it was Slanaash that would working alongside his granddaughter Lirith spark the event known as the Dance of Lirith.
Many of the children of Slanaash had seen a change in their father and had gone to the side of Elune, and thus these members of the Asurian Pantheon did not listen to the invitation to the dance of Lirith but many others including the loyal son Khaine traveled to the dance of Lirith where having already corrupted his grand daughter Lirith he would have her do a dance where she told the story that allowed the shield over the titans to be broken and with this event all those who were present were corrupted including half the Asurian pantheon. The Lodge of the Old OnesThe Lodge of the Old Ones would first be thought of by the first generation titan Godrus who following his corruption by the more powerful Slanaash would be pressured by Slanaash to convert more Titans to the fallen titans. Coming up with idea of mass rituals he would form the Lodge of the Old Ones in order to bring in Titans through the belief that they were going to be learning more about the Old Ones, when in fact there was no information to learn and all they would find was a center of corruption. Nyx would be in the Underworld when the Eternity War was raging and despite the command of her husband Hades that they needed to stay uninvolved with what was happening she was convinced by her husbands friend Hermes to travel with him to the Lodge of the Old Ones and while both remained resolute in not being corrupted it was Hermes who helped Nyx escape which led to him being imprisoned. Having fallen to the corruption of the Lodge it was Wudis who attempted to get his daughters, and mother to join the Lodge but they would be protected by Hermes who despite being imprisoned by the members of the Lodge due to not falling to chaos was able to get a message to Tydana warning her of what the Lodge had done to Wudis and this led to Wudis being barred from entering Olympus. |
Government
The Titans are divided between three different with each having there own leadership :
- Noble Titans : The Noble Titans are led by the Angiris Republic.
- Chaos Titans : The Chaos Titans are not unified under a single government.
- Rebel Titans : The Rebel Titans are not unified under a single government.
Generations
The Titans were created in different generations by the Old Ones with each passing generation being created for different purposes, and with each passing generation the Titan generation became weaker in terms of their scope of power. The first three generations of Titans have a near limitless control of power in the Fade, with the first and second generation literately gods in terms of power, while the fifth and sixth generations of Titans are more mortal in their powers with a significant amount of powers but nothing compared to the original four.

Possession
All Titan generations may as their energy based form implies take control of a physical body on the Earth, but the original four generations will only last brief amounts of time in these bodies due to their sheer power with the original two generations for instance only able to last hours in a physical body before their power overwhelmed and killed the body. Fifth and Six generations of Titans have the ability to near permanently control the bodies they take control of, and this is the main reason that they have formed the most seen and encountered elements of the Titans on Earth.
Population
The earliest generations of Titans are present only in the Fade in any true numbers but they are capable of entering the corporal world and before the creation of the Fade they were only present on the Earth itself. The last two generations of Titans in the sixth and seventh generations are by far the most populous of the Titans consisting of more then ninety percent of the entire population of the Titans, and are also the weakest of the Titans never meant to control the power of the earliest generation of Titans.
Mixed Titans
Titans due to their possesion of physical bodies have the ability to reproduce with non-Titans and this has led to the rise in what the Titans call the Seventh Generation in the form of half blood Titans born from Titans and non-Titans.
