Tristen Broodhaggen is the son of Johan, and Kristen Broodhagen of the Kingdom of Alcase making him a noble of the Kingdom of Alcase, but in Lucerne he is more of an aristocrat. He is now involved romantically with Juno Cera, who he met through her brother who is a fellow member of the Order of the Golden Dragon.
Tristen Broodhaggen was the first and only child of Johan and Kristen Broodgaggen. At the age of three he was purchases by Lord Raven of Saverne who wanted a new squire for his needs. Master Raven was told by his parents that he was simply small for his age and was in fact seven years old. This fact led Lord Raven to decide to bring Tristen with him to the Battle of Lyons. Tristen Broodhaggen was a member of the Alcase army that took part in the Battle of Lyons. At the time he was only four years old and had been brought because his master at the time had need of his squire and he didn't have the sence to understand how truly young Tristen was. When the Alcase army routed and was wiped out, he managed to survive and found his way to the retreating Lucerne Army where Carlisle Cullen took him in.
