Vincent Godfrey is the son of two members of House Godfrey making him a member of and the current Lord of House Godfrey. Under this public persona is Vincent Godfrey who is a first generation Lahmian Vampire of whom is the progenitor of the Godfrey Bloodline.

Vincent Godfrey would form his own religion which became organized as the Church of Godfrey and this religion of Godfrianism was the result of his centuries of contemplation and isolation.

Vincent Godfrey lies as the head of the Godfrey Vampire Bloodline, but throughout his extremely long life he has only turned two people into Vampires in the form of Adriana Godfrey, and Dimitrius Godfrey both of whom have become the source of the expansive Godfrey Bloodline.

VIncent Godfrey would be born the first of five children, and during his youth he would be the constant companion of his father of whom spoiled him with everything he ever wanted. Growing up he followed the footsteps of his father who was a high ranking noble in the Kingdom of Lahmia and as he rose he became increasingly prominent within the nation at a time of great change as Angelica Neferata was rising to the leadership of the Kingdom. Vincent would be changed into a Vampire by Angelica herself as a part of the growing rituals of her rule, and although he was at first resistant to the change he was convinced to follow the queen by his father who was not changed. Following his turn to a Vampire it was Vincent that would change several members of his family but his father resisted the change which begin the first cracks in Vincent's belief in the Queen of Lahmia, but despite the growing questions he pushed forward as best he could. As the Lahmians became the target of the Christians of Nehekhara it was Vincent that was placed in command of one of the northern armies and defended the area of Myr which stood on the border. After being pushed back he would be on the run from the armies of Nehekhara until the lich Nagash came north and Vincent followed orders and joined his army for the Battle of Cache where the undead army of Nagash and the Lahmians would defeat Jesus and slew him. Following the killing of Jesus it was Vincent that was changed by witnessing the curse of Jesus and in this he left the army returning to his family at Volantis where he would remain unwilling to return to the fight until the Nehekhara forces arrived at the gates of Volantis. The Fall of Volantis would lead to Vincent fleeing the cities destruction and making his way northward towards Hashin where the call of the Vampire court would bring him. Vincent now a shell of himself remained in Crete for a time but would fall under the influence of Godfrey and this led to him regaining his love of life, but also making a vow to never again create a Vampire leaving his daughter Adriana as his only progeny. Vincent would leave Greece alongside Godrick and made the journey with his mentor and eventually stopped with Godrick when they settled in Lorderon, and once there it was Vincent and Adriana that longed for a way to end their desire for blood leading them to search the libraries of Kirin Tor for this cure. Vincent would be joined by Romanos in not joining Godrick in going north instead the two traveled to the Valley of Lucerne with Vinent in search of a cure while Romanos went in search of peace. Once in the Valley it was Vincent and Romanos and their bloodlines that settled on the Feastfire Islands where they would keep in relative isolation as Romanos attempted to find his meaning in life among the untamed landscape of the Valley of Lucerne, while Vincent continued his search for a cure. Eventually it was Vincent that left the Feastfire Islands heading westward as the two Vampire Lords seperated for the first time in decades, and joined only by his daughter the two would settle down in the area of modern day Tree Hill. Vincent, and Adriana would come to spend the next several centuries feeding in secret off the blood of the endless farms of Lucerne and with the teachings of Godrick they never killed their victims instead feeding in secret and thus over this time they remained without notice. After centuries of wandering the Valley of Lucerne it was Vincent that came upon rumors of the Dragons of Lucerne and traveled to the Mountains of Kohne in search of the Dragons. While searching at the Tower of Masadil its Adriana that discovers a Numenorian Codex dealing with the Dovah and this makes her believe that drinking from a Dovah could cure their affliction to needing blood. Following Adriana's discovery it was Vincent that commanded his bloodline to convert several new members and recruit many humans to an army that they would lead against the Mountain of Kohne where they knew to contain a Dovah nest. Vincent's journey to the Mountains of Kohne led him first to the ruined Dwarven Hold there and exploring the hold they were able to infiltrate the lower levels of the Dovah nest and watching their movements they were able to use their knowledge of Dovah gained from the codex to discover when the Dovah and Davah were in hibernation. Having discovered the hibernation pattern of the dovah Intrilax it was the Godfrey forces that attacked the nest overwhelming the Dragon defenders and wiping it out leaving only Intrilax alive, but she was chained up by their forces. The chained Intrilax would be drank from by the members of the Godfrey Bloodline and they discovered from this that they felt full in a way they had never felt before, and staying in the Dwarven Hold for a time they came to conclusion that Dovah blood could satiate them for years on end. The Godrick forces would be forced to move Intrilax from Kohne when Davah arrived from other Dovah peaks and while they were pushed back they were forced to remove the Dolitis Casio organ from Intrilax and then creating a giant pyre of Dragon corpses they would flee the ruined peak having made it appear that Intrilax had been killed. Moving Intrilax to the west they were led by him to a ruined Dwarven Hold called Karak Gedfrien which was located in the center of a large lake, and thus would allow them to isolate themselves and also give Intrilax a mountain climate to hibernate in. Fortifying the Dwarven Hold it became the center of the Godfrey Bloodline, but also under the leadership of Adriana a nearbye human village was expanded and renamed Godfrien becoming the center of what she viewed as a larger nation that they could form, and protect the humans now that they were all but free of the need of blood. Vincent would join with Driving Tide when the rise of William Lovie I. brought major changes to the Valley as Vincent had grown

Shortly following our Invasion of Westbridge and the death of...of the women...well when I returned I learned my loyal vassal Genn Greymane was dead. Some funerals you miss. His wasn't one of them.
William Lovie III.

With the Invasion of Westbridge a complete victory the army of Lucerne begin trickling back and when they arrived they learned of the death of Genn Greymane of whom at his very old age had finally died. The Funeral would be attended by many in the Kingdom including the King himself of whom travelled to Hillsbrad with his two sons, sister, and cousin Emma. Arriving in Hillsbrad the funeral was also a moment to hand over the reigns of Hillsbrad, and the Arch Lord position that it held to Liam Greymane of whom had also been a loyal vassal of William during the Journey. Following the funeral Hillsbrad would host a tournament in his honor, and in honor of the new Arch Lord Liam Greymane in the form of the Hillsbrad Tournament of 5133. During this tournament the fighters were decided by Liam to all be unlanded peasents of whom would be knighted following the tournament. The tournament brought many colorful men to the city, and in the end the top three were all knighted as a show of honor to their determination. Before leaving the city Liam Greymane did discuss the recent Battle at Castle Stragnarax, and William would openly state that the defences needed to be stronger, and that no expenses were to be spared in defending the west.
