Vincent Godfrey is the son of two members of House Godfrey making him a member of and the current Lord of House Godfrey.

Vincent Godfrey would form his own religion which became organized as the Church of Godfrey and this religion of Godfrianism was the result of his centuries of contemplation and isolation.

VIncent Godfrey would be born the first of five children, and during his youth he would be the constant companion of his father of whom spoiled him with everything he ever wanted. Growing up he followed the footsteps of his father who was a high ranking noble in the Kingdom of Lahmia and as he rose he became increasingly prominent within the nation at a time of great change as Angelica Neferata was rising to the leadership of the Kingdom. Vincent would be changed into a Vampire by Angelica herself as a part of the growing rituals of her rule, and although he was at first resistant to the change he was convinced to follow the queen by his father who was not changed. Following his turn to a Vampire it was Vincent that would change several members of his family but his father resisted the change which begin the first cracks in Vincent's belief in the Queen of Lahmia, but despite the growing questions he pushed forward as best he could. As the Lahmians became the target of the Christians of Nehekhara it was Vincent that was placed in command of one of the northern armies and defended the area of Myr which stood on the border. After being pushed back he would be on the run from the armies of Nehekhara until the lich Nagash came north and Vincent followed orders and joined his army for the Battle of Cache where the undead army of Nagash and the Lahmians would defeat Jesus and slew him. Following the killing of Jesus it was Vincent that was changed by witnessing the curse of Jesus and in this he left the army returning to his family at Volantis where he would remain unwilling to return to the fight until the Nehekhara forces arrived at the gates of Volantis. The Fall of Volantis would lead to Vincent fleeing the cities destruction and making his way northward towards Hashin where the call of the Vampire court would bring him. Vincent now a shell of himself remained in Crete for a time but would fall under the influence of Godfrey and this led to him leaving the Vampire Court with Godfrey but as his friend continued north to Denmark it was Vincent that left him and traveled towards what is currently Lucerne. Living within the fractured Valley of Lucerne it was Vincent that kept himself in relative isolation as he attempted to find his meaning in life among the untamed landscape of the Valley of Lucerne. Vincent would come to spend the next several centuries feeding in secret off the blood of the endless farms of Lucerne and with the teachings of Godrick he never killed his victims instead feeding in secret and thus over this time he kept himself a secret. After centuries of wandering the Valley of Lucerne alone it was Vincent that came upon rumors of the Dragons of Lucerne and traveled to the Mountains of Kohne in search of the Dragons. Vincent's journey to the Mountains of Kohne led him first to the ruined Dwarven Hold there and journeying to the peak of the hold he eventually discovered the first of the Dovah of Kohne in the form of Intrilax. The confrontation between Vincent and Intrilax would lead to a fight between the two which Vincent was able to defeat the Dovah and drinking his blood it was Vincent that no longer craved blood needing very little to survive following the confrontation. Free from the pull of blood it was Vincent that settled down for the first time west of Kohne where he would travel to the ruined Dwarven Hold of Karak Godfrein which he learned of from the ruins of Karak Kohne and settling inside the ruins he begin his march towards his new life. From the ruins of Karak Godfrein he would would take control of a village and as its new lord he named the village Godfrien, while using Karak Godfrein as his personal seat. As lord of Godfrein it was Vincent that formed his own Vampire Court out of Godfrein from those who maintained loyalty to him, and as this vampire court grew in strength his new town attracted large numbers of immigrants attracted to the protection provided by the power of Vincent Godfrey. Vincent would join with Driving Tide when the rise of William Lovie I. brought major changes to the Valley as Vincent had grown

Shortly following our Invasion of Westbridge and the death of...of the women...well when I returned I learned my loyal vassal Genn Greymane was dead. Some funerals you miss. His wasn't one of them.
William Lovie III.

With the Invasion of Westbridge a complete victory the army of Lucerne begin trickling back and when they arrived they learned of the death of Genn Greymane of whom at his very old age had finally died. The Funeral would be attended by many in the Kingdom including the King himself of whom travelled to Hillsbrad with his two sons, sister, and cousin Emma. Arriving in Hillsbrad the funeral was also a moment to hand over the reigns of Hillsbrad, and the Arch Lord position that it held to Liam Greymane of whom had also been a loyal vassal of William during the Journey. Following the funeral Hillsbrad would host a tournament in his honor, and in honor of the new Arch Lord Liam Greymane in the form of the Hillsbrad Tournament of 5133. During this tournament the fighters were decided by Liam to all be unlanded peasents of whom would be knighted following the tournament. The tournament brought many colorful men to the city, and in the end the top three were all knighted as a show of honor to their determination. Before leaving the city Liam Greymane did discuss the recent Battle at Castle Stragnarax, and William would openly state that the defences needed to be stronger, and that no expenses were to be spared in defending the west.
