Walton Frey is the son of Stevron, and Ursella Frey making him a member of House Frey.

Walton Frey was born the second son of his father Stevron Frey and during his youth he would become utterly obsessed with becoming a knight and in this way he would squire under the Master of Arms of the Trident becoming a knight at the age of sixteen. Walton Frey would lead a small force of the Empire of Frey into the War in France where he did not take part in the massacre at Lyons but instead fought in the south near Marseilles where he would remember watching the defeat of the Orcs in those battles. Walton Frey would return from Marseilles a completely changed man of whom hated the political infighting that was already beginning among his family and in order to avoid this he would devote himself to Aerene becoming a sworn knight of Aerene and withdrawing himself from the line of succession. Following his swearing of Aerene`s oaths he would begin to rise rapidly in the ranks of the House Frey military forces, and also would become increasingly loyal to his father of whom he felt was one of the few honorable men in his family.
