Yorllien Wind is the youngest and as such the final member of the rebuilt House Wind, and after the impressive begginings of his half siblings Dollian, and Krollian all the other siblings basically took a back seat. On top of this Yorllien was disadvantaged by the fact that his father Red's first wife in Natalie absolutely hates Wellia, and has taken a lot of effort to make her life terrible which has often involved Yorllien. Realizing rather quickly that he was going to have to work increasingly harder if he wanted anything he spent much of his youth absorbing as much money he could from whatever sources he could. In an effort to gain noteriety in the House he led the twelve men under his command and travelled west to a local village that was under the control of House Wind. Without asking his father he used what little money he had saved up throughout his life and begin bankrolling his way to power in the town. At first his rise was a popular one in the town, but he begin to face resistence from the Clan Leader of the village in the form of Draven Backstame. Everything he seemed to do was resisted by Draven and when he threatened violence against Draven he came to the realization that half the town was with him, and the other half with the violent Draven. He would be approached by Ulia Backstame the daughter of the Clan Leader who offered a way to victory by killing her father and then marrying him in order to make the village his for good. When the plan succeded and her father died the two would be married, and following this all resistence in the village disapeared overnight.

Mines of Dragonstone
It was during their time in the mines of Dragonstone where Yorllien Wind, and Taedor Songfyre of whom were both working in the same mine and together the two discussed their plans for the future and became fast friends alongside Rahaevon Vaeltheos.
The Capture of Windhaven

I came here in peace. You destroyed any chance of peace, and now you have no control over how this ends.
In an effort to gain notoriety in the House he led the twelve men under his command and travelled west to a local village that was under the control of House Wind. Without asking his father he used what little money he had saved up throughout his life and begin bankrolling his way to power in the town. He entered the village and made his way about with his force and discovered the richest man in the town by far in the form of Jaime Vesi of whom he bribed into being loyal to him, and then to further this loyalty he built his Hold next to the merchants home. With little doubt about Jaime the merchants support he would marry one of his men in the form of Rahaevon Vaeltheos to Jaime's daughter Nelle Vesi. At first his rise was a popular one in the town, and he formed what he believed was a strong relationship with strong man in the village in the form of Draven Backstrame of whome was the leader of the powerful House Backstrame. It was during this time that he built several farms west of the town owned by him, but of which the profits, and supply from their production was seperated between several people in the town. As he built ventures and placed villagers in charge of these ventures his popularity rose, and these people became diehard loyalists for him. This peace would become shattered when late one night Draven Backstrame broke the peace.
It would be in this peaceful rise that Draven would arrive seemingly at random one night and break into the Hold of Yorllien while his men were asleep and he would kill one of his men and then threaten Yorllien to leave. Yorllien would be utterly shocked as Draven entered the house over the dead body of his solder Vander and bring a knife to his kneck as if it was nothing. As they talked back and forth there were moments when Yorllien truly thought he was going to kill him or Taedor Songfyre of whom had gotten up to try and defend Yorllian but each of these moments was interrupted by the cough of his daughter Ulia of whome he had met briefly during his first meetings with Draven. Ulia was at ready seemingly one of the solders of her father, as she had a sword in hand, and was fully clad in armor. As he looked at her though she gave him a silent smile which allowed him to calm down enough that Draven believed he had gotten his point across. When Draven finally left Ulia stayed behind and picked Yorllian off the ground and leaned him against a chair before whispering him the following.
With her speech done she kissed him in the cheek before stepping back and walking out the door. Yorllian and Taedor immediately unlocked the door to the upstairs which had held off the other men of his gaurd, and then went to the body of their friend Vander of whome had died in the inital flurry. The group would bury him outside the Hold, and then the next day Yorllian would make the decision that he wouldn't be threatened and he was going to control this village. Yorllian used his increased wealth and the wealth of Jaime Vesi of whome was fully behind Yorllian now that he was able to discuss the violence and excesses that occured under the rule of Draven. The Hold of Yorllian was expanded and a dozen more men were added to his force over the course of the next few days, and thus the vertual siege excisted between the forces of Yorllian of whome held the center and western parts of the village, while Draven held the small keep that was on the east of the town, as well as the houses that surrounded the keep.
The Call for Aid
As the two sides fought over control of the village the forces of Draven basically fortified the keep and begin to make less and less forties into the actual town. With this development Yorllian used the now open village to further recruit more men to his forces, and he used much of the remaining funds he had to further construct three more farms west of the town, and to better equip the men he was recruiting. Despite this there was little they could do to assail the keep, and when they attempted to construct a siege machine the required technology to construct it alluded them and thus they gave up on that. Realizing he couldn't break the siege Yorllian would send a letter to his father Red Wind asking him for resources so that he could break the siege in Windhaven. When the letter came back in response his father had sent five men to assist him with the message that they were capable siege techs that could allow him to construct the siege machine. His forces would begin construction of the siege machine, but during the construction he was approached while travelling the center of the village by Ulia Backstame.
He would be approached by Ulia Backstame the daughter of the Clan Leader who offered a way to victory by killing her father and then marrying him in order to make the village his for good. He didn't know how she planned to achieve this until she said that she would let them inside the keep through a side door that was locked from the inside. Yorllian was skeptical of her loyalty but she swore on everything she could think of that she just wanted to see him where she believed he belonged. The next day he would make the decision to take his best men and go along with this plan in the middle of the night. He and his men would sneak to the walls of the Keep unoticed, and find the door unlocked with Ulia waiting on the other side. She unsheathed her sword and told them to follow her where she took them to the inner part of the keep where they found her father, and two of her brothers looking over a map of the village. Ulia would then move away from the fight and into a backroom where Yorllian assumed she was going to hide. Yorllian and his men would unsheath their weapons and this would alert Draven of whome along with his sons and several gaurds would take theirs out as well. The two sides engaged in verbal conversation before Draven's oldest son fell dead with an arrow through the eye, and when everyone looked they saw Ulia on the second floor balcony with a bow in her hands. Her father cried out but before he or anyone elce could say another word she took out another arrow and shot him through the chest killing him. With the whole room completely overcome by confusion she would jump off the balcony into the chambers and walk straight at her final brother of whome begin to back up towards the door, but before he reached it she took out a dagger and bolted at him and slit him across the throat spraying his blood over her face and body. Covered in her brother's blood and surrounded by her dead father, and other brother she walked towards Yorllian who didn't move backwards as many of his men did, and when she reached him she knelt onto her knees and said the following words that would become legend throughout village leadership
MarriageWith these words all the feelings that Yorllien held for her bubbled to the surface and he knelt down in front of this girl that had seemingly for no reason saved his life when her father wanted him dead, and then murdered her family so that he could be the leader. He moved forward and kissed her barely realizing that she was covered in blood, and no one dared to say a word as they kissed. After a time they stopped kissing and he got up now covered in some of the blood and asked Taedor to go and get the priest of the village. Moments later the priest was back and the priest would marry them in the same room as so much death. The two would then kiss one last time before Yorllian went to tell her to go home so that he could finish up what he had to do, but instead she kissed him again as if to signal to him that she wasn't the kind of girl that would be going anywhere during these kinds of moments. With this knowledge Yorllien would get his commander to bring forth the remaining mercenaries for the judgment that they so deserved. As much of the force left the room including the priest the two would share a brief but intense personal moment and in this moment they both understood how much they loved eachother. Yorllian, Taedor, and Ulia would then determine which of the remaining solders of which the majority were mercenaries that had been brought in before the coming of Yorllian, and Ulia told about their constant crimes against the people of Windhaven. With her words against them most of the mercenaries were executed by Taedor, and Yorllian and then barried in the rear courtyard of the keep.

Ulia Backstame and Yorllien Wind would first meet when Yorllien would enter the town of Windhaven, and during the early times he had little interaction with her but she was watching him for signs that he could help her in her attempt to take control of the town. She continued to watch him as he did good things, but she also watched as her father plotted behind her back, and this led to her beggining to plan to assist him despite the knowledge that this would lead to her having to turn on her father and perhaps even kill her father. She would assist him in taking on her father and was the main reason for his victory in the town, and she would propose marriage to him after the victory, and as she was nominally quite powerful due to her being one of the few members of House Backstame that didn't get killed during the fighting. Despite her violent behavior she would soften alongside him during the weeks that followed as she found comfort in someone's arms for the first time in her life. She would be married to Yorllien Wind during their arrival in Dragonsport after he was commanded to go their by Rhaegar Targaryan, and lthogh the ceremony was small it was perfect for their growing relationship.
